  1. The "Hydro Craft" Mod is supposed to do that, but as of IWBUMS V40.0 (up to and including the current one, at V40.16), you cannot sew any form of seed or harvest any form of plant. This is a glitch that the Mod's creator(s) are/is trying to fix at the moment, but for now, it's a no-go.
  2. "Project Zomboid" is set in the early 1990s AD. A lot of these books didn't exist then. (George Martin's "Game of Thrones" series, for example, started, IIRC, at the very end of the nineties.) Indeed, I was in the second grade when the first "Harry Potter" book came out. I read the whole thing, and I hated it.
  3. For those unaware, this is comically unrealistic. Pillows CANNOT work as silencers, and "silenced" (suppressed) guns are still plenty loud. They're just not loud enough to casue permanent ear damage. If we applied RL gun physics to PZ, guns with silencers would still attract plenty of zombies, but instead of being a magnet like an unsuppressed gun, it would probably attract zombies with a more restricted range, akin to a Meta Event. Of course, "Project Zomboid" is first and foremost a video game, so it doesn't have to be realistic.

    Reusable Jars

They are. In RL, you can can goods with glass Mason jars and even gallon-sized pickle jars. You have to seal and boil them. The key is that it has to be an airtight seal to disinfect and pressurize the canned goods. This means that plastic lids don't work in RL, and, assumably, PZ uses modded lids as well.
  5. Is there anything that is still needed for the Mod? I'd be honored to help contribute.
  6. @thejoker954 I checked to see if that was the case. It still happens if the desk is completely empty.
  7. Okay, I'll try loading a new game with nothing except the Map that spawned it, go to that tile, and see what happens. That is assuming that I'll ever find it again. I don't think I will, unfortunately.
  8. Good afternoon. Enough said. This desk, like all PZ furniture that I know of, is from the Vanilla rendition of "Project Zomboid". Unlike most other types of desks and tables, I cannot disassemble, pick up, rotate, or otherwise alter or relocate the desk by any means except the Sledgehammer. This is not the first time I have encountered furniture like this. Thank you. -TURTLESHROOM
  9. Good afternoon. Enough said. I am using Mods (particularly "Hydro Craft") and a Map overhaul, but none of the Furniture or graphics are overwritten by either. That means these shelves are glitching in the Vanilla rendition. The shelves, regardless of how full they are, are always shown to be empty. That means they are missing the Sprites that change the shelf when something is sitting on it. What, if anything, can be done to fix this? Thank you. -TURTLESHROOM
  10. For any Developers looking at this thread, this comment someone made might interest you:
  11. Good evening. Enough said. Although I am using a Custom Map, there are no custom textures that could explain this. (On the Custom Map, the exact area of the buildings with the glitched glass is X13270/Y11195, which is where I took the screenshot.) I feel that this is a texture found in the Vanilla rendition, so it's worth showing. (Note: the glass is still gone when I look straight at it.) Thank you. -TURTLESHROOM
  12. All of the benches, kilns, mines, etc. etc. are all items you can pick up and drop instead of Furniture. A lot of the items in the game were added before the Furniture Update. When are they going to be converted to Furniture? Why isn't this a priority? You can't rotate dropped items! You clip through them! For large dropped items, you can't even find (or see) the tile it's sitting on, AND zombies can sneak up on you and you can't see them! IMO, with the sole exception of bug fixing, this should be the utmost priority of "Hydro Craft". I mean, there is something really wrong about walking through a deep well or moving like Jesus over a concrete dug pond. I beg of you to fix this. --- Also, I'm experiencing an error alert every time I right-click the ground, a window, a bed, or any artificial source of water (like a sink).

    Union City

I'm stoked for Louisville. I'm stoked for this Mod. I want to see a Blockbuster, or, if copyright is still a problem, a Blockblister. The latter is better. Much better.
  14. Dude, you really need to share your code. Perhaps OP will implement it? I know that I would download it!
  15. WARNING: VERIFYING THE INTEGRITY OF "PROJECT ZOMBOID" GAME FILES THROUGH THE STEAM CONSOLE WILL RESET THE "LET ME SPEAK" MOD, RETURNING YOU TO THE DIRTY VERSION. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE MADE A BACKUP OR HAVE OTHERWISE BOOKMARKED THIS PAGE.
  16. Does this Map work with the Vanilla rendition in Knox County, or is it a standalone Map? If it is the latter, what does it replace and where? Does it have proper vehicle spawning?
  17. The one they removed was more bare-bones than this Mod. I say they incorporate this Mod as the base and build off of that, importing code from the old stuff and developing from there. Using this Mod's code is a stepping stone that could allow for faster development of the reimplementation of NPCs.
  18. @Bejasc Maybe I should have been more specific. I don't mean that Indie Stone should import it and just keep it like that. I mean that Indie Stone should import it wholesale and then build on it.
  19. Indie Stone should just go ahead and import this wholesale into "Project Zomboid" itself. That would essentially end the longstanding clamoring for reintroduction of NPCs. That said, some kinks need to be ironed out: namely, a character takes twenty for stalks of Broccoli and eats a few, but then goes and raids cabinets for more food. If he has food in his inventory, he should always eat that first. Furthermore, and this is a big one, you should be able to give NPC characters any item at any time. I can't order a NPC to chop and deliver wood if he doesn't have an axe, but placing the axe on the ground in or near my base doesn't work. I should be able to directly hand him an axe!
  20. Good afternoon. I am reporting a bug in "Project Zomboid" concerning sickness. My character got sick and, as everyone knows, that's a death sentence unless you have Antiboitics. I tried to feed her and he lp her sleep, but when I went to bed, she died in her sleep. In her Inventory , she had a Tote Bag as a secondary item and a Big Hiking Bag on her back, as well as a wealth of rarer items and skill magazines in her arms. Note that she died in the bed while the sleep clock was skipping forward. When she died, I started as a new character and went to where she died. I found the Tote Bag, but my previous character's body and everything in the Big Hiking Bag were completely gone. I tried to disassemble the bed, only to find nothing underneath or near it. What happened? Did I do something wrong? Thank you for any assistance you may render. -TURTLESHROOM
  21. I'm not sure as to the answer, but I would love to see your custom containers added to the Steam Workshop, that I may download them when you are finished.
  22. The clean version is here, if you're interested: https://theindiestone.com/forums/index.php?/topic/24317-let-me-speak-v143-clean-version/ .
