  1. Okay so for those of you who doesn't know, but when some vegetables goes rotten sprouts will grow out of them, and you can then plant them in your garden. Some of these are potatos, cabbages, etc. If we take potatos as an example. google potato sprouts, that's the plant that will grow out of the potato, you'll need to plant it so it is sitting up through the soil, then just water it etc. and it will after a long time make around 4-8 potatos (See potato plants) So let's replant some of that rotten food!

  3. I'm playing on the server now was wondering if you could write in all chat? and how? (And courtman clinic is cleared out and theres food for anyone who can make it there. (And water in the containers)

A 4 floored hotel with 60 rooms inklusive the owners and the butlers, we also have 19 toilets, 3 dinning rooms, 1 big kitchen, 1 meeting room, 1 office, 1 Library 3 waiting rooms and a couple of other types of rooms. I'll post screenshots when I get the chance as I can't do it right now. (I'm missing the buttom on my keyboard.)   5. Hey, so i was wondering if the devs are going to allow replanting and reseeding. What do you mean by? Replanting: By replanting i mean being able to move things like berry bushes, vegetables, things that you can dig up and then place in the ground another place with enough effort. So when you sow your carrots at a stupid place, you'll have the ability to move them inside a safer spot by replanting them inside the wall you just build. Reseeding: By reseeding i mean being able to take seeds from plants, we do it in my family when some food-plants/vegetables are too exepnsive, we just take the seeds out of them and put them in a box, so we can reseed them again next year. This would also open up a use for some rotten food, by rotten i mean potatoes and the like. To plant potatoes you let them rot to a point where new sprouts begins to grow out of them, and then you sow them into the ground, so that they may produce more potatoes. (Also i haven't seen it yet, but cheese shouldn't really be able to rot since we do eat rotten cheese and meat, and let it rot on purpose because it taste better that way, some think so anyway (Not a cheese lover here)) (Sorry but I'm to tired to make seperate topics) also it would be handy if you could: - dry food so it would be non-perishable (So people did in old ages.) - Salting food (same as above) - Canning food and pickling food (There are a lot of easy fast ways to do this (and i know a person made a mod, and i thank that person and i have already suggested it a while back with a fine big pic with a lot of pickled food xD)) - In summer being able to dig a hole, and store food down in it (since the sun only warms the outher layer and therefore it's cold the further down you get, so they don't rot so fast.) And when basements get implemented, being able to store fruits etc. down in the basement (since it's colder down in the basement, and people used to keep food stored there, and still have.) also look up the coolgardie safe (really handy for keeping things cold) Sorry got a bit off track Please leave a comment with what you think.
  6. I would prefer if there was a steel. I know a lot of households that got it, it's used to sharpen your knife, and it's really easy to use (If you don't know what it is, try google it ) Else I could see that using a whetstone or a mug would serve the purpose. http://www.wikihow.com/Sharpen-a-Knife (The last example is a coffee used as a whetstone.) Instead of ducttape etc. Which don't really make much sense to me tbh . Edit: I'm of course talking about how to repair the kitchen knife. (My primary weapon)

  9. Also add running as one of the things that will increase the chance. (And graceful trait should probably decrease the chance of falling.)

  12. It's so easy collecting seeds from your plants in many cases, I really hope they'll add it.
  13. I just don't think that's a good idea to be honest, it kind of takes away the excitement of the game and adds a safety-net for players. It's also makes you want not to die, because you'll die and can't be revived. And that's a factor that makes this game. I think you will be able to give npc's instructions, but if they obey your command is also up to them, and again, adds another factor to the game that you will remove by giving you the option to switch. I liked it in state of decay, but that was because the game was build around that philosophy that you could switch, but I really just think it will take away too much of the survival part of the game.
  14. Stop right there! I can see the cool in it, but I don't think they should be quest like wow or anything else compared to that. I rather call them missions, you won't get anything out of it, but it's your duty. Now it would be fun to see what people would do, run away? go insane maybe? But I see the cool in objectives and such, I just don't think they should make it too much of a quest hub. (but I might have understood what you were trying to say, if so I'm very sorry and I like your idea with some small things that would need to change etc. If they don't imply it the community might make a mod, maybe even a gamemode or something >w<!
  15. Yea, it could be cool. But they would be placed against a lot of zombies, so that they have a small chance of surviving. I think that would add to the feeling of glory if you survive Where as starting as a normal person you aren't in that much of a danger (starting in a safe house is what I ment by that) Playing as a soldier you'll be put up against a lot of zomboids.
  16. Well if it is fortified well, it would do okay. But I'll rather take one of the houses near the medical. Also you could seal off the medical, and then seal off most of the other big houses to the south, that would be my plan if I was going to hold up in it. The more space the merrier.
  17. I agree on everything beside the "you'll have to stand still part." I usually if in a hurry run out of my door, and open the umbrella while running, I can't run as fast, but I think you should be able to run or atleast walk while opening it.
  18. Yes but they are far from from any main shops but then again we could build a city like compound on Walking Dead. What is your sisters talents apart from containing a female reproductive system? We are not going to be used for any reproductive systems!! But I don't really know what she is good at beside bashing in rapers head. She would be good scavaging I think but I don't control her so I don't know what she'll be really good at. I also wouldn't like her to go out and get killed.
  19. a builder? of course your in! now we have: secretary/cook (crafter/guard): @stuffger that handles all the inventory, its collection, coordinate with all members for their necessary supplies -responsible for proper distribution of food and drinks to all members -also responsible for cooking and/or crafting if idle while the builder is busy with construction -therefore, one of the most important/crucial member of the group builder/crafter (farmer/guard): @TheConstructionWorker that is responsible for all construction -his expertise is crucial for the safety, growth and survival of the group -also responsible for crafting -may also help in farming, or guarding the base if there's nothing to do at the moment scout (scavenger/guard): @Chippy has responsibilities to scout for food and materials, incoming zombies, aggressive faction and other survivors -will be the busiest of all the members as he will be constantly in search of a lot of things -must have a partner -if there are no more scouting missions for the moment, he may join scavenging missions -if idle, guards the base Some jobs to fill: farmer/guard (scavenger): will be responsible for the farms: planting, watering, fertilizing and harvesting -his expertise is crucial for the survival of the whole group -may have a few partners if group population is becoming larger -act as guard if there's nothing to do -if idle and guards are plenty, can join scavenging missions scavengers/exterminators (guard/scout): will be responsible for all scavenging missions and zombie (or aggressive group) extermination missions -will also be responsible for defending the base if idle -may also help scouting if scouts are in short numbers -the most numerous members according to job type -very important as they are the muscles and early game food supplier of the group I can take care of the farming if you let my sister stay! Also the rich part of the town down to the south with all the red houses that are 2 floored beside the medical might also be a nice place to barricade if we could clean it for zombies and build the rest of the fence around the houses. Theres a forest close by only thing that would be missing would be water, but then there's water barrels.

  24. Hey again I have a brother who I would love to play with, and even though online multiplayer are still far out in the future I would still like to put the idea out there. Now what I mean with family relationship is that you can choose in character creation if you're in family with some of your friends and when you spawn you might spawn in the same house, just like you do in split screen. Else adding a family system working like Lotro might also be fun, but what do you guys think?
