    As the title says.  The image is black on black with slight transparency if you have a light background behind the inventory menu.

    No need to be so rude. I answered your question best to my knowledge, this issue has been discussed before many times and it's not a bug, just unfinished feature. Mind that the game is still in early access. I've recorded a video specifically to show you exactly what happened to you and how to avoid it in the future.
    In the video I used a car model that is only available in debug mode, this car is animated so you can see when the door is opened and when it's not. Also the car has full condition windows and doors despite them not being visible very well due to the model. As you can see you need to wait a moment for the door to close after entering it, if you start driving immediately the door will not close. Hope this answers your question.

    What GKuba is saying is that your door never closed in the first place. There is no indication of this but you can interrupt the door 'closing' and the game will consider it open. Even if you are able to drive around your door might still be open. Which is effectively what happened to you.
    It is unfortunate that currently we lack a visual indicator for this.

    Your door was open. When you enter the car, the character takes a short while to close the door, if you interrupt the process by eg. opening the map or something the door will never be closed. Currently cars don't have animations for opening/closing doors so just make sure to give your character enough time to close the door before performing actions. You can see the process of closing the door with the newly added infinite progress bar above your character, when that disappears it means the door has been closed.

    Please consider adding support to save the size/shape/position of the UI windows when using a gamepad. You can change the default location of windows when using mouse/keyboard, and these settings will persist. However, when switching from mouse/keyboard to controller or restarting the game, the windows default to the bottom of the screen. It's a small QOL improvement and I'm sure I'm not the only one to desire it. Thanks!

    See attached.  This is from yesterday so the blood is a bit old, but I came into the apartment through the closed door to my right, killed all the zombies and then started opening doors, and the blood had gone through the wall/door into the walk in cupboard.
     
    The second screenshot is from the third floor of the oak peak apartments, almost directly above the first.  Same deal.  Entered apartment, killed all the zombies, and then opened the cupboard door to see the blood inside the cupboard. I guess its how the walls are setup in this apartment block.

    Okay, to anyone who is interested, my problem was caused by creating texture packs in TileZed from a separated pngs.
    After i switched to spritesheets instead and recreated my texture pack out of this - problem has been resolved.

    I'm kind of surprised by how short sighted is considered a "free trait point" currently when the need of glasses can be such a huge issue IRL.
    As such, I thought up a few suggestions that not only would make the short sighted a much more meaningful negative trait that could even be increased to +6 trait points or even +8 but are a lot more interesting in game and make it something that is actually a huge choice to make.
     
     
    1- Your screen should literally blur if your character is without glasses with the exception of things within a certain range of your character getting gradually worse the farther from your character it is. Very similar to how the "fog" works outside, but near the character it should barely be noticeable while it should get stronger the farther from your character it is until things are indistinguishable from a certain distance.
     
    This means that your character wearing the glasses on their face is extremely important since without it, you as a player won't be able to see things far from your character as well as if there was a permanent fog in the game.

    Also it should give CRAZY negative accuracy that gets worse with the distance your character is from the target.
    This means that without glasses, you won't be able to hit enemies with a gun that are far from you AT ALL.

    Even though you can start with glasses (which is very important that you do), there are many situations in the game that make the character drop the glasses, like tripping or being brought to the ground by a zombie that caught your foot and so on. More to come with the NPCs update for sure.
     
    This also mean that you don't get to wear facemasks to protect you or full head helmets that cover your face or any sort of mask that also takes up your eyes.
    In runs that have the zombie virus be airborne, this means no wearing gas masks or any seriously protective masks.
     
    2- Glasses should have a hidden "durability" that shrinks as they fall to the ground or whenever they are stepped on while on the ground.
    This is huge because you never know when your glasses will break, which means you need to get spares from zombies.
    I won't even get on the matter of prescriptions not to make this overly complicated, lets just say everyone magically has the same prescription, but if your glass breaks because a zombie tripped you and stepped on your glasses and you don't have a spare, you are very screwed.
     
    3- Being without glasses should give stress by the hour, since it is extremely stressful to not be able to see things properly.
    It should also give a permanent first level of panic if without glasses outside since you can't properly see if there are zombies in the distance that can already see you.
    Similarly, it should reduce the boredom reduction effect of televisions if you are without glasses since you can't perfectly see the TV unless you are very close to it.
     
     
    With all this, short sighted would still be a pretty good negative trait to get, since you can just start with the glasses to counter its effects from character creation, but it would be a serious negative trait that properly portrays the effects of being short sighted and how important glasses are to you, being the difference of life and death in a world that not seeing things can quite literally get you killed.
     
    As someone that needs to use glasses every day or else I can't even properly see my computer screen while sitting on my chair I can tell you that being without glasses in a zombie apocalypse would be a death sentence and the game should properly portray that.

    Hey folks, 

    LOVE that we got this update to fix the clothes clipping, very minor but a lovely little polish that I greatly welcome!

    However it seems female characters weren't quite addressed in the same respects as male characters

    Hello! I found several bugs. 
     
    1. In Louisville cinema theres a wall tile there it is not supposed to be
     
    Coords 12481x1289х0

    2. Baths cant be used to drink and wash. Water isnt shut off, other baths work ok. I think its about orientation to east and south(?) coords: 14576x3183х0

    Hello community !
     
    I've mad my map, everything works fine except my roads on InGame map.
    I've made some linestring, add rules highway and value primary or secondary. I can see the stuff on my xml file but not in game.
    In game i can see buildings, tree or water but no roads.
    You can see my xml on attached files.. But i don't see any problems in. So what the hell ?

    Hello everyone!
    I made my very first clothing mod but the texture just disappears after a while, cleaning and fixing the item doesn't solve it. It seems to be tied to blood and dirt decals though.
    What could be the possible cause and how would one go about fixing this problem?

    Under the sandbox options you can make freezers keep food fresh for a long time but there is no mod to make them stay good forever. I spent the first in-game month collecting frozen meat and put freezers in my house just to find out it'll go bad eventually.
     
    It would be helpful to have this option for people who want it and like to stock up on meats and vegetables in the beginning.

    When you have a single can of food in your inventory, you can receive a multitude of empty tin cans out of it by using traps.
     
    Here is how it works:
     
    - make sure you have a can of food in your inventory and a trap (example: canned beans and a cage trap); you also need a can opener for opening the can
    - open the can of food
    - place the trap
    - add a bait from the opened can
    - remove bait
    - now you have two opened cans of food in your inventory; eating them will produce two empty tin cans
    - you can even make more empty tin cans this way: do not eat the content of the open cans from the last step and repeat the process of adding and then removing a bait

    Is that an empty beer bottle by any chance? That is a known bug and should be fixed in the next update.

    Version: 41.73 Tested in Singleplayer, more than likely works in Multiplayer Vanilla New Save - Debug or Old Save required Reproduction Steps: Debug appropriate building materials for testing as well as necessary stats & recipes (Or, work your way up to it!) Build two crates. One stacked on top of another. Build a Bar Counter, Bar Corner, Small/Large Table, or any other furniture that allows stacking of objects on top of it. Build a Crate on top. Repeat steps 3-4, rotating the objects from step 3 as needed. Enjoy your plethora of crates. Have fun scrolling through all of your loot :D  
    Logs.zip has been included for your convenience. I do hope this hasn't been posted already as I've attempted to search for it and, admittedly, it's a bit difficult to search for something that could have such a simple title!
