    OK, it seems this is related/caused by some code that allows for better split-screen experience. Some version of this has been on our radar for a while - it will get fixed in the future. Thank you for the report, I'll update our internal bug-tracker

    Sandbox mode in Riverside. I have two characters, both are now Tailoring level 6 (6 is maxed; progression towards tailoring level 7). I used the book "Tailoring Vol. 4" (340 pages) and read all 340 pages on my alt character. Then, on my alt, I dropped the book on the ground, and switched to my main character. Picked up Tailoring Vol. 4 and read all 340 pages. Upon completion of page 340 on my main character (Bertram Buford), the tooltip now says for Number of Pages: 194 of 340. Also, Tailoring level 7 has multiplier 12.   If I had to guess, the game knows I completed the book. But for some reason, the book does not know it. logs.zip

    In the distributions, there are 3 procList item with the name "CrateCompactDisks" like this :

    However, in ProceduralDistributions.lua , the table is named "CrateCompactDiscs" instead of "CrateCompactDisks".
     
    CrateCompactDiscs = {rolls = 4, ... }

    One of the clap emote animations that's used while standing, Bob_EmoteClap, is missing. When the clap emote is used via the radial menu, sometimes it does nothing because of this. That the sneaking version of the emote does exist, so this only occurs while not sneaking.

    On a specific restaurant in Ekron, the kitchen's steel counters spawn office items in place of kitchen items. This only happens with those containers though, as freezers and trash cans in the room spawn their normal items.
    The room seems to be labelled "room1" on map.projectzomboid.com, instead of something like "restaurant kitchen" like other restaurants have, so It might have to do with that different room type assigned to it.
     
    I've got mods installed, but no mods that are related to item spawns, and this has happened before I started installing mods too.
     
    I went to that restaurant's kitchen in a new save to make sure, and the same happened.

    So there is a gas station between West Point and the military checkpoint. Where there is an apartment upstairs, the apartment have lights and switches, but the store below does not.

    I can't share a picture for some reason

    Is this a SP or MP issue? Does this happen with any other food (can you RMC a can of soup > Make bowl of soup, for example)? Did your game crash at all? And how old is the save?
     
    Could you delete "mods" folder in "C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid" and then verify your game files In Steam Library RMC Project Zomboid > Select "Properties" > "Local files" > "Verify integrity of game files".

    Hello!
    Me and 3 of my friends are currently playing zomboid on local server via split-screen + 1 player on different pc.
    The issue is that after reloading in the game, progression/characters of player 2 and player 3 are completely gone.
    The host and player 4 characters remains the same. So is the character of another pc player.
    I read some forums about that issue from a year ago and people are saying that it is split screen bug fault.
    Is there currently any way to fix that?
    Maybe we can manually save our characters?

    Hi there,
     
    I have a map mod with multiple map directories.
    However, I would like to define my own collection of spawn points as several spawn regions, so I've added three more Map Directories which each represent one of such spawn regions.
    The spawn regions are displayed and basically works, but neither the description text nor the thumbnail are displayed in multiplayer. But it works fine in single player.
     
    I was at least able to translate the titles with a custom solution. But I guess, this should be possible by the core logic itself.

    My workaround to get at least the names translated
    I've added an file spawnregions.txt to my map mods Translate dir as follows:

    Just wanted to necromance my long-dead forum account to give the devs the kudos they deserve.  Had to put the game down for a bit, but amazed at the support and features you guys have done since years ago.  My online group has been hosting it with some fun mods, and I just want to say that MP is proving to be a great experience.  Thank you for your continued work, Indie Stone team.

    We know that the comms mechanic has been broken by one of our commits and are working on getting this fixed. 
     
    FYI, "PZ distance units" do not translate directly to "meters" or any other units.

    I found a couple older threads regarding bombs not detecting "Proximity" trigger as well as "Remote" trigger in Multiplayer...  and tested it just now to find that remote and proximity modes are not picking up zombies or even myself (players in general)....  Couple others have also reported this to me because they are testing some Landmines & Claymores I added to my mod basically scripted same as vanilla bombs with minor tweaks...
     
    We're just wondering if this is a known issue or may there be something else wrong...
