  1. ..beat me to it! All batteries are at 0% You are right. I did not know that battery had condition and charge. I haven't played much with the mechanic part yet. Thank you for your help and sorry.
  2. Hello Pandorea, Sure. It's a new MP game I created for testing purposes. I used the 6 month later preset ans I changed the following settings in the Sandbox - Vehicle tab : - Easy use : checked - Car spawn rate : high - Initial gas : high - General condition : very high Vehicle Enable opotion in the INI - Vehicles tab is uncheck. What else do you need to know? I tried around 20 cars in Westpoint (near the gigamart and the gas station) and the Mall. I also tried a few in Muldraugh this morning. EDIT: I'v just tried without changing the Initial gas and General condition options. Engine and battery are still dead in every car I checked. No mod was used on this server but I have not unsubscribed from all my mods. Can they interfere even if they are not enabled?
  3. I did try. The car did not start. The battery is green and the engine is grey before turning the car on (at least on my other game).
  4. Thank you I forgot about this one. So this time cars spawn but the dashboard of every car I tried to use showed dead engine and batterie. But the mechanist screen showed the opposit (I tried "normal" and "very high" for the server option for car condition). every car
  5. I can confirm that the game is much smoother for me with build 38 and 39. I don't have the CPU usage spikes I reported with build 35.3 (see page 44). With the Survival preset (14 days played), FPS locked at 60, zoom at 250% and 3D models set at player+10, my FPS fluctuated between 50 and 60 while driving in West Point downtown, and stayed at 60 in West Point suburb (but i has a pretty good computer). The UI lag is a bit annoying but it's far better than a freeze every 5-10 seconds for me. I wanted to test the new performance with more Z so I started a new game with the preset 6 month later (insane Z population). I also changed the car spawn rate to high but I could not find any vehicule in Muldraugh and Westpoint (I did not look elsewhere).
  6. Thank you EnigmaGrtay. I've just tried it but the lags are still there. I totally forget to mention that in my last comment.
  7. Hello all, I tried the vehicle test branch for the first time with a friend last week end. Here are a few bugs we found. No mod was used. I haven't played with the previous build, but I've read on this thread that the performance has improved. But I experienced a lot of lag with the build 35.3. We were in Riverside and they happened while in car or on foot (in town or in the farm north of Riverside). I tried again later in SP and I had the same lag. I went back to the build 38 and everything was ok. I changed back to the vehicle build and recorded my CPU, GPU and RAM usage in SP. Each time I had lag, there was a spike of CPU usage on every core. I spawn near the gas station, took a car, drive around (I followed the red path on the image below) and drop the car near the farm. The spikes were more frequent while driving and I did not see any improvement when I was in the middle of the forest. Strangely my friend did not suffer any lags. Zombies were also able to move and attack while I was frozen on MP but they stopped in SP. We also had this problem twice. The first time, my car key vanished when I exited it. The second time, my car key disappeared and was replaced by the my friend's key (we had renamed the keys) after a little accident caused by my lag where its sport car crash straight into my van. I have a question. Are both electricity and mechanics skills required to hotwire cars? I hope this will help. Thanks a lot for this awesome game.
