  1. His PC should be fine to run the game, but as mentioned your Mac OS is currently not compatible with multiplayer. You will either have to update or wait for a future patch.
  2. Does your friend have a Mac as well? And what version are you guys on? Currently OS X versions older than 10.15 do not support multiplayer yet.
  3. Can you share your logs.zip file found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid?
  4. Thanks, this does help. Multiplayer currently only works for Mac OS X versions versions 10.15 and higher, you have an older version than that so the game crashes due to that. I can only recommend either updating or waiting for a future update fixing this.
  5. This issue just means that the map failed to download in time, best I can suggest in this case is lowering your game resolution so you need to download less tiles.
  6. Do you have any mods enabled? They can cause issues such as these.
  7. Your error seems different in here the "SArK.SArK_SwissArmyKnif" item is corrupted. You will have to disable the mod that adds that item.
  8. Does the server have enough RAM assigned to it? I would recommend at least 4GB, perhaps more with Hydrocraft.
  9. https://steamcommunity.com/app/108600/discussions/1/3198119199538227884/ Read these two links
  10. Do you have it in your main inventory? And have you tried disabling all the other mods? Even those that dont add icons to the UI.
  11. This would be the wrong file, I will need the "logs.zip" file, and not a zip of the Logs folder. Additionally, can you share your startserver.sh file? So I can check if that one is correct as well. Lastly, 4 GB is definitely not enough for the amount of players you have, for about 10 players I recommend about 8GB
  12. Unusual, an you share your logs.zip file found in the Home/Zomboid folder?
  13. The .json looks fine, does the server go way above the RAM usage? Generally it can go up to 5GB with 4GB assigned roughly.
  14. I am not sure, this is not my fix and I am not sure if it works myself, only forwarding workarounds that I found for this.
  15. It should work fine, can you send the .json file to see if it is set up properly?
  16. Seems like for some reason the game cannot check the workshop folder? Can you try moving the game to another drive and see if that helps? https://www.howtogeek.com/269515/how-to-move-a-steam-game-to-another-drive-without-re-downloading-it/
  17. Can you share your logs.zip file found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid?
  18. Try going to C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid and delete the "mods" folder there, after that try launching a new game.
  19. Try this fix? https://steamcommunity.com/app/108600/discussions/0/3198118671851155569/
  20. Try doing the same thing on the client side, this issue basically means that the file is different on the server and on the client, meaning redownloading the file should fix the issue if its done on both sides, it has nothing to do with the OS of the server.
  21. I would recommend deleting the whole Steamapps folder, then restart the server and let it redownload the mods again.
  22. There doesn't seem to be any crash error, but there are several mods being loaded at the main menu and at the game load as well seemingly, can you disable them both in the save and from the main menu? Then restart the game as well.
  23. I would recommend this post: https://steamcommunity.com/app/108600/discussions/0/1642041886384669880/?ctp=5 Additionally, having the game set to "borderless windowed" will always scale to the maximum resolution.
