Game won't let me continue or load saved game (Console.txt problem)
Beard replied to Kevin Johnson's topic in Bug Reports
Any mods enabled? -
His PC should be fine to run the game, but as mentioned your Mac OS is currently not compatible with multiplayer. You will either have to update or wait for a future patch.
-
Does your friend have a Mac as well? And what version are you guys on? Currently OS X versions older than 10.15 do not support multiplayer yet.

Can you share your logs.zip file found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid?
-
Do you have any mods enabled? They can cause issues such as these.
-
Your error seems different in here the "SArK.SArK_SwissArmyKnif" item is corrupted. You will have to disable the mod that adds that item.

[Single Player] Can't start game after clicking on "Click to Start"
Beard replied to OuiZombi's topic in Bug Reports
Do you have it in your main inventory? And have you tried disabling all the other mods? Even those that dont add icons to the UI. -
This would be the wrong file, I will need the "logs.zip" file, and not a zip of the Logs folder. Additionally, can you share your startserver.sh file? So I can check if that one is correct as well. Lastly, 4 GB is definitely not enough for the amount of players you have, for about 10 players I recommend about 8GB

I am not sure, this is not my fix and I am not sure if it works myself, only forwarding workarounds that I found for this.

Seems like for some reason the game cannot check the workshop folder? Can you try moving the game to another drive and see if that helps? https://www.howtogeek.com/269515/how-to-move-a-steam-game-to-another-drive-without-re-downloading-it/

Try going to C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid and delete the "mods" folder there, after that try launching a new game. -

[41.65] [Multiplayer] [Linux] File doesn't exist on this client
Beard replied to shiroyashik's topic in Bug Reports
Try doing the same thing on the client side, this issue basically means that the file is different on the server and on the client, meaning redownloading the file should fix the issue if its done on both sides, it has nothing to do with the OS of the server. -
[41.65] [Multiplayer] [Linux] File doesn't exist on this client

I would recommend deleting the whole Steamapps folder, then restart the server and let it redownload the mods again. -
There doesn't seem to be any crash error, but there are several mods being loaded at the main menu and at the game load as well seemingly, can you disable them both in the save and from the main menu? Then restart the game as well.

[41.65] Cannot change resolution to 1920x1080
Beard replied to tyrannischgott's topic in Bug Reports
I would recommend this post: https://steamcommunity.com/app/108600/discussions/0/1642041886384669880/?ctp=5 Additionally, having the game set to "borderless windowed" will always scale to the maximum resolution.
