  1. Very weird... try using the StartServer_nosteam.bat file, then go to your Steam Library > Right click Project Zomboid > Properties > Set Launch Options > Type -nosteam > Start the game > Connect to this new Nosteam server. This should take out Steam out of the picture, meaning if there are any issues with it, you should be able to connect to it now. This would help us get closer to the issue.
  2. It may be an issue with the mods as well, since some do not seem to work well with MacOS for some reason. Try joining the large server with a new username and create a new character, this will check if it is some sort of character issue as well.
  3. Could you try setting the game to "Windowed" mode in your game Options and then try loading in the server again? Additionally, when did this start happening? Did you do any updates on the Mac that might have caused the issue?
  4. There seems to be an issue with your game install, as if it had files that do not belong there. I recommend doing a full reinstall in this case. First, uninstall the game, then go to "Steam\steamapps\common\ProjectZomboid" and make sure there are no leftover files or folders there. Then just install the game again and see if that helps.
  5. I would recommend disabling the antivirus, not as a long term strategy, but to see if it is the cause of the issue. I also recommend going to the server console and typing the "save" command there, just to see if the server itself works fine. If it responds by saving, then it means there is just some unusual network issue preventing the connection.
  6. Does this happen on all servers you join? Can you try replicating the issue with at least 2 other servers?
  7. Can you share your logs.zip file found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid?
  8. It looks as if the connection is just blocked to that server. Can she join any other servers in that case? And can she try joining with a different username?
  9. Just to make sure, all these tests are done using the SteamCMD install, correct? The client install might have some extra issues, especially if using multiple PCs, since its connected to the same User account. If this was done with SteamCMD, do you perhaps have any antivirus or other security software on either PC?
  10. The last 5 logs show you using the Public IP to join instead of the Local one, I recommend using the 192.168 IP of the PC where the server is installed at. Place it in the IP tab only. If that fails as well, share the logs again to confirm if it is a different error.
  11. The issue is just connection problem. Can you try joining at least 5 servers? If the issue happens with all of them, can you share your logs.zip file found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid?

    64 bit debug mode

Not sure I follow, the Steam launch does not have any 32 bit version, you have to manually run the 32 bit version through the .bat file, which is not recommended. If launching the game through Steam, it never uses the 32 bit file.
  13. Can she try using the "Use Steam Relay" option when connecting to the server? It is on the right side on the Join screen. Or if it is checked, try unchecking it.
  14. I mainly meant if you can join any public servers, you can see them in the Main Menu > Join > Internet tab. This is to rule out any issues with your friends servers.

    64 bit debug mode

https://pzwiki.net/wiki/Debug_mode You add that to the Steam launch parameters.
  16. Are you able to join any other servers? And are you sure you are looking in your User folder for the Zomboid folder?
  17. Are you playing on a Wifi or through a cable connection? What is your ping to the servers you are trying to connec to?
  18. The logs seem to show just a standard disconnect error, which might be caused by a mod loading issue. It specifically seems to happen after loading the GunFighter. Can you try starting a new server without mods and see if that one loads? Since it is likely the mods are the issue here.
  19. Can you share your logs.zip file found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid?

  21. Borderless windowed mode will always scale to the maximum resolution of the main monitor at this moment. The game will always try to run on the Main Display selected in the Windows display settings. A possible fix for your situation is disabling the two secondary monitors, then run the game in 1080p fullscreen mode on your 4k monitor and see if it runs correctly. Then you can enable them again.
  22. I cannot think of anything else, you could try replacing the floor with different floors that you take from buildings, but nothing else than that comes to mind.
  23. Yeah as far as I can see there is nothing wrong with your game or PC, the connection errors just seem like generic connection lost errors, which means they are mainly affected by the network.
  24. Edit the options.ini file again and change the first two lines to the desired resolution. Alternatively, delete the "resolutions" file in your Zomboid/Lua folder.
