This message should not be related to your issue, the pauses are only a few milliseconds long, you can read that in the rest of the message. Instead, the crashes sound more severe, can you share the hs_err_pid files found in the main folder where the server is installed and started from?

Try going to the C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid folder and edit the options.ini file with a text editor. In that file, edit the fullscreen=true line to fullscreen=false Then try launching the game again. This is to test if the issue happens in Windowed mode as well.

Can you run the ProjectZomboid64.bat file again? A console window should show up with a lot of text, can you share a screenshot of that? It should contain error messages to help find out what the issue is.

This makes the problem more clear, it seems to be a permission issue on your PC preventing the game to write in the User/Zomboid folder. You can fix this by moving the Zomboid location elsewhere. Try going to your Steam Library > Right click Project Zomboid > Properties > Set Launch Options > Type -cachedir=C:\Zomboid > Start the game

It is likely not going to come in the near future. Though, does your app not allow using any of the default Controller buttons? In this case you should be able to use one of the R1 or L1 buttons to select the window and then use the X button to close it.

Thanks, this is fairly unusual, I would recommend you go to the Zomboid folder and delete everything there, including the Saves folder, though you can instead move that folder somewhere else if you have any old saves you want to keep around. After that, try verifying your game files. Steam Library > Right-click Project Zomboid > Properties > Local Files > Verify Local Files Then just try starting the game again, It should fix the Savefile error.

Try going to the server's Save folder and delete the "map_sand.bin" file, as that file should not be there.

Unfortunately, this logs file is empty, I recommend first starting a game and loading into a new save, then reproducing the issue after that, and then finally shutting down the game. This should create the new logs file which would contain the logs from that game, you have to send the logs after that.

Unfortunately, it looks like you enabled mods right away when loading the game, then crashed due to them. Are you able to replicate this issue on a new save without any mods?

Seems like the file is corrupted for some reason. Try going to the Zomboid folder again and delete everything there except the "Saves" folder. Then try starting a new game again. If it still shows an error, share the file again, as it should no longer be corrupted after this.

This is a known issue. I recommend manually changing the settings instead of using the existing presets.

They might matter, since it seems to be some sort of Steam issue.. do you have the ports opened in your firewall as well? Or even the antivirus if it has any network blocking of some sort. It might be blocking the Steam connections as well.

Make a copy of the server, then remove all the mods from the copy and test if it still happens.

Some service providers might think that if you connect too often to a server as a DDOS, and would block the IP from connecting again, so it might be an issue there. Since it would not make sense that she can connect to every other server if it was an issue on your side.
