BaldGuyPlaysGames got a reaction from Inkie in Animations will one day be released hype thread.
Personally, I'm on the fence as far as animations are concerned.
I don't play Project Zomboid for the graphics. If I want a zombie game where the developers spend more time working on the visual aspects of the game rather than game play, then I'd just play 7 Days to Die instead.
The animation update will be released, the complainers will move onto the next thing promised from the developers, and the cycle will continue.
From a player who hasn't touch upon mods yet, I'm personally looking forward to more guns, NPC's and vehicles a lot more than animations. The  map system and the hidden cache's have been great additions to the game in my opinion, and I'd like to see a lot more things implemented along those lines.

Give the helicopter event a 0.01% chance to land and rescue the survivor, then everyone would love the helicopter!
Personally I don't mind the event, I tend to make sure I'm scavenging on the other side of town between day 6 and 9 usually and that tends to work out for me

I made no comment on how good or bad the graphics on 7 Days to Die are. I was merely using the game as a example of one where the developers are spending all their time tweaking and adding options to the graphics of the game, at the expense of game play. This is just my opinion.

Released a new build with WIP vehicle sounds and improvements to the FPS drop while driving (should be vastly improved though perhaps not 100%)

    Hello!
    Keep up the good work.
The golf course looks to be a nice addition to the map.
I hope someone is working on a mod so that we can get in a quick 9 holes after a hard day surviving the apocalypse!

    Hello!
Thank you for putting this out for testing.
As far as performance goes, I usually run the game at 60 fps and usually keep at around 58-60 fps depending on location and zombie count.
On the Vehicle branch I was running at around 28-33 fps with it dropping to around 19 fps as I entered a more densely populated area (West Point)
My CPU usage fluctuated between 43% and 68% again depending on area and zombie count.

    Spec:
    i7-4790k CPU @ 4Ghz
    16GB Ram
    Nvidia GTX780 Ti GPU
    Windows 10 Home

Also some texture bugs on the road from Muldraugh to Rosewood. Textures visible depend on viewing angle

Ran into an odd bug today. While following up on 3 annotated maps I had laying around the game freezes up when I get in the area of the target house. Before I can even see it while fully zoomed out. Two out of three different target locations do this requiring I restart the game (it respawns me back a little from where game froze). Have tried several times per location with the same results.

The third froze for about 20 seconds then allowed me to continue. What I found in the house was that the entire floor is covered with hundreds of dufflebags each containing 1-3 boxes of shotgun shells, 6-24 loose shotgun shells, and an unmodified shotgun. I'm guessing so much stuff is being added in the other houses that the game can't load it. After I managed to get into this house the game no longer freezes in that location. Might try a fresh install to see if that helps. Checking files through steam doesn't show any file errors.

    Hey guys,
The game hanging on the click to start screen only seems to happen (at least for me) when I convert an old save to 37.3
Once I exit the game, the converted save loads as normal.
