Not exactly a directly zomboid question but..... kinda. TIS has been working on this game for a very long time, and feels to me like your not taking many vacations. What do you do to stay motivated or what motivates you to work on the game?

Is there an equivilant button on the controller? Kinda hard to reach my keyboard from the couch

Solid suggestion, I work around it right now by running for a step.

Everyone loves mods, but as rain is in the vanilla game, there should be a way to mitigate it in the vanilla game. Of course you have outdoorsman but the garbage bags would give some protection, shouldn't even be a lot, to people who didn't take it.

What still no npcs back? Burn Muldraugh!!! Just kidding! I swear I told myself I would stop playing until NPCs were put back in but the game is just so good even without them I just couldn't fight the urges anymore and picked it up again. What I found was that because of the difficulty spike between when I last played and now, adding npcs is no longer as important to the fun of the game at the moment. So take your time to ensure they live up to impressive standards of the rest of the game. I don't think anyone will disagree with that.

Smashing stairs is perfectly fine, same with building a base on stilts. It would be awesome if you needed a support within say 5 tiles of something in the air or if a pillar could only support a certain amount of weight.It would be kinda cheap, and not my cup of tea but still realistic. A levitating fortress is lame though.

Simple suggestion. Garbage bag rain ponchos- wear to increase the time it takes to become wet in the rain. Use black sweaters for the graphic. Low effort suggestion yeah! Will need a crafting recipe something like scissors/knife + garbage bag = rain poncho Oh and hi to anyone that recognizes me. Its been a while since I last came around.

You can also hold leftclick when the object is in position and move the mouse to rotate when you let go the object gets placed.
