  1. I got another clip - this one has the distance a bit better. Real game, only 1 mod - m3ss twitch stats. https://clips.twitch.tv/HardHelpfulGorillaTBTacoLeft-MQbn5igOgBIUUQtK
  2. This looks related - https://clips.twitch.tv/DullElatedTermiteDxAbomb-y3q5URnmxqnDJxR0 It's like his attack was the same as if he'd performed a regular followup hit on a standing zombie. That or "that zed had insane core muscles" - scarlettogk
  3. Yep no multihit. Third one is a bit hard to see because of the distance. Here's another one similar which seems to support your theory. https://clips.twitch.tv/PluckyBlushingLaptopGOWSkull-JlGerg0BT47E02gn I get what you mean about the overlay being representative not predictive. I've learnt a lot instinctually especially when fighting around fences. I tend to explain to people to use what they see as a guide and learn the feeling of what's actually happening but it's a hard conversation sometimes. The shove I treat as a personal skill issue because 2v1 it doesn't matter whether I shove the one behind or in front, so long as I time it correctly I can shove one and dodge the others attack in the process with the shove. I'll try get a console log in the right spot and play around to see if I can dig up some more context/info. Let me know if you've got somewhere you think I should look first.
  4. Build 41.78.16 Singleplayer Mods - No, full vanilla. Debug mode - Aimcone on Old or new: New save Expected behaviour: Shove target closest to you Observed behaviour: Shove target that you last hit with spear Clip (Vanilla - today): https://clips.twitch.tv/InterestingMushyWalrusNotLikeThis-cHY3RrgOj4lEYjh8 https://clips.twitch.tv/TangibleGrotesqueSandpiperSMOrc-KIwUmJhuQTKa39dw Clip (Modded - 4 mths ago): https://clips.twitch.tv/GlutenFreeUnusualCougarPMSTwin-dKhlUn5SVBxsy9W7 Reproduction steps are easy: - Walk backwards while aiming at two or more sprinters - Swing with spear - Hit spacebar after swing (Seems to happen more the sooner you do it) - Shove targets the zombie behind the one you've targetted Additional notes: - I've had this happen rarely at long distances as well - more than 2 tiles - This is a pretty common bug, the way I've tried to play around it is to try not to shove too fast after a spear swing, and try not to start holding spacebar until I'm sure the spear has finished swinging fully
  5. TITLE FORMATTING EXAMPLE: POST FORMATTING EXAMPLE: Build 41.78.16 Singleplayer Mods - Yes, 22 - https://imgur.com/ZtNg7p5 Old or new: Save from current build, but have closed and reopened PZ and loaded it. Expected behaviour: Against sprinters climbing over fences, holding force ground attack key should force weapon to stab ground. Observed behaviour: Against sprinters climbing over fences, when holding force ground attack spears (And knives) sometimes go for the stab instead. Stab attack has a window where the player can miss (A skill issue). Holding force ground attack with the spear should force it to try a ground attack no matter what as it's an intentional action. Reproduction steps are tricky: https://clips.twitch.tv/ClearArtsySalsifyHassaanChop-oZ7bekRcuJEQeiOh Haven't been able to replicate it in vanilla. I regularly kill a few thousand sprinters on fences though and it's a pretty rare occurrence - Use force ground attack bound to G or another key - Use "shove" key to attack instead of left mouse click - Attack a zombie late when it's crawling over with force ground attack held and spacebar My thoughts: There's a common theme with difference between mouse click and keyboard press for attacks e.g. the faster ground attack exploit (hold force ground attack, use spacebar - faster, hold force ground attack use mouse, expected speed) Maybe engine is registering multiple events from a single keyboard press but single events from mouse? or e.g. knife stabbing faster if there's a zombie in front of you and one on the ground and you try to force ground attack.
  6. https://pzwiki.net/wiki/Lua_Events/OnServerCommand Can I define a module in Lua to use this with? Or does it have to reference a known/pre-existing vanilla module? My goal is to create custom server commands to trigger functions I've created via the terminal. I've looked in https://projectzomboid.com/modding/zombie/scripting/ but can't figure out how modules are defined and if they live in the java space or lua space or if I can define them.

    GOG Multiplayer

Hi, I recently bought PZ after loving the demo, but I bought it off GOG instead of Steam, and now I seem to have shot myself in the foot as far as multiplayer goes -> I'm Australian, and I can't find any non password protected servers, whereas there's hundreds of steam limited servers. Kinda sucks because I love your game, I'm really impressed with the level of balance and challenge you've achieved, especially the trait system, really allows me to play my own way, just sucks having to play alone. I'd rather not ask GOG for a refund, I kind of like supporting what they're doing, so I was wondering if there's any updates in regards to some of the earlier comments I found from the PZ staff in regards to GOG galaxy server/steam server connectivity being under consideration. I don't suppose you could update the GOG page to mention that the GOG version can't play with most steam servers? Or even better, host a server somewhere in Aus? That would be amazing. Cheers for reading, have a good one.
