  1. Bedford Falls and New Denver were the only custom maps that were respawning loot before the previous 2 updates. I just added New Denver from the Workshop to my server. It appears to not be respawning loot. Map is fully loaded.
  2. You have to put the map files on the server as well. And to save the map, save the server test files. They have the map.bin files and zombie files.
  3. With long term MP and server play being about the social aspect and conditions. It would be nice to have lots of tools to shape the story of server in the background. The ability to control individual spawning categories. Such as the ability to turn some off, but leave others on. Weather control to force seasons other than speeding up time. Such as control of snow and temperature. Ability to create Safehouse zones like PvE areas. So admins could make areas as big as they would like, or as small. So a single room in a building could be a "Safehouse"
  4. In game wells you find aren't limitless. But they start with a ton. Hydrocraft Wells are empty until filledMoreBuild Wells have some water, but are replenished every time it rains. Water Pump is unlimited water. You extract it with a bucket. But easier than that. Put rain collectors one level up and one level adjacent to placed sinks, tubs, toilets etc. And it'll give you fresh water from it. As long as the rain collectors have water.
  5. Find a dog whistle Use binos and dog whistle to find a dog. Continue process until you find a hunting dog. Forage for feral animal poop Take poop, rope, binos and hunting dog. Search for Pig, cow, horse etc. Get level 2 cooking, hunting knife or cleaver. Read hunting book. Butcher carcass. Get hide Make a drying rack. Dry hide. Make a mine Mine for limestone. Maybe you can forage for it? Make milk of lime. Lime skin. Also make tanin. Tanin can be made with a bucket of water and dog poop. Read leather working book. Make leather. You might need Rose water too. It's been a long time since I had to do this as a player. It can be foraged. That's the general gist. Check the Hydrocraft wiki for the specifics.

  11. So I had this problem and tons of lag when I ran it bare since 36 came out. The lag has reduced significantly and the magically reappearing zombies have stopped once I put our customized server extension on it. The server was almost unplayable without it. Even as juiced as it is and only 10 players on it. It also stopped it from getting fatal errors and crashing every few hours.

  13. I think Build 35 Vanilla tongs overwrote Hydro tongs. Good news is that the Vanilla base game tongs are working with the Hydro recipes for now.

  17. It worked for all off build 34. I don't know how to add Necroforge without making it admin only on the server.
  18. So I found the names in Necroforge. Anyone know if the prefix changed. What worked in Build 34 is not working for me. /additem "MoveablesDefined.MovOvenOld.png" for example for Antique Ovens. Says the items no long exist no matter what I put in for an item.

  20. It appears some of the ids/names have changed for admin spawning. Anyone have the list or point me in the direction of it?
  21. New wrinkle. Same computer. Same files. Different character names. Some cool others getting kicked for mismatched files.
  22. Make sure they have unsubscribed from all mods on the Steam Workshop and in the the game via Main Menu. That fixed the remaining problems for players on Dead Pixels that it wasn't working for.
  23. Oh my lord. Stop being so passive aggressive man. I don't wanna get into one of your drawn out things. It's a combination of fixes from servers. I'll make sure to credit your input in the future. The community has a problem. There is a fix. At the very least identify it so your customers who are frustrated know that it's at least identified. Maybe I missed a post about it in another thread. But I think it deserves it's own one for a problem this big. So it's easy for people to search for a possible fix or the comfort of knowing that it's not just them.
  24. Since a bunch of servers are experiencing this when mods change since the Build 35 Update. 4 fixes in order of ease. So one of these will fix it. Unsubscribe all your mods on the STEAM workshop/main menu of the game and join the server. Or Exit Steam completely (File -> Exit) Go to %ProgramFiles(x86)%\Steam\steamapps\workshop Delete the act file with the number 108600 in it Launch Steam then try to connect again Or the last most in depth fix Restart Steam. Go to %ProgramFiles(x86)%\Steam\steamapps\common\ and delete the ProjectZomboid directory. Go to %ProgramFiles(x86)%\Steam\steamapps\workshop\ and delete the 108600 directory as well as the 108600 manifest file. Go to %UserProfile% and rename the Zomboid folder Zomboid_backup In Steam, right click PZ -> Properties -> Local Files -> Verify . . . *courtesy of Butterbot Final nuke button. Save your zomboid folder somewhere else. Unsubscribe from all the mods on Steam. Delete the zomboid folder off your comp and the 108600 and reload the game. If you have a Mac your Steam folder is hidden. You have to hold down the OPTION button in the GO folder for the Library to pop up. User/usernam/Library/application support/steam Make sure you unsubscribe to all your mods on the STEAM WORKSHOP as well as on the Main Menu. Best Current chance to fix
