Yes! They're terrible and it doesn't get any better without treatment and support. When you can, (if you can,) see about getting a supportive therapist, counselor, or psych to help. They can help you get treatment, and you don't have to feel weak or guilty about it; it is exactly like getting a cast for a broken bone or antibiotics for an infection, only it's an interaction of your brain's biology that's doing things a little off. But yes, I do have mood swings, and I do have depression and they totally suck. I don't handle it very well yet, but I also haven't sought treatment, so I'm kind of telling you my own goals. I might actually have bipolar II and a few personality disorders rather than run-of-the-mill depression/anxiety, but again something for me to get help from a doctor with.
