  1. black screen, but UI is visible. options say shaders unsupported by hardware. windows 64 bit. Clean install.
  2. http://theindiestone.com/forums/index.php/topic/2096-my-save-wont-load-what-to-do/ You still didn't tell us your settings nor your setup. i've already sent it in. guess i should have replied in the PM? also the I've also gotten a huge fps drop. It's more consistent now, though, rather than coming in bursts of relatively higher fps followed by slight freezing. edit: switching to multicored rendering greatly improved performance (still slower than (0007), though).
  3. my (0007?) save still fails to load due to the same error in (0008). Results in a black screen and the menu doesn't show up if i press escape. Have to alt+f4 to exit.
  4. The problem persists. old saves don't work either, but i'll be PM'ing that in anyway. The context menu actually does show up very rarely. The game has smoother fps (slightly), but seems to run much more sluggishly for me, especially while zoomed out. the "stutter" people are referring to may be something i noticed. the character suddenly jumps over about a tile every once in a while. e8400 8gigs of ram, ati HD7950.
  5. burned to death trying to empty a fridge into my backpack after i burnt a tv dinner. the very next try, i DO IT AGAIN, except instead of dying, i managed to grab everything around the stove and run out of the house. thankfully it started raining a few seconds later and saved what ever else was left in the place.
  6. the higgs field IS why we have mass. you're only remembering part of Einstein's equation. a potentially huge part is also momentum. without going into heisenberg's (fitting, considering OP's avatar, lol) uncertainty principle, suffice it to say all mass attributed to matter comes from the higg's field, modulated by momentum and change therein, and interacted with by gravity. your last sentence is actually a kind of chicken or the egg kind of situation. no one knows where gravity comes from or why it affects objects that have the property we call mass. gravity also affects spacetime itself, because we see that massless light is also affected indirectly (gravitational lensing). OT: i think it's a perfectly clever name for the mod!
