    Yes, at least remove of summer time ambient. And add for example sounds of passing on snow, and yes winter wind it should sound different of other seasons.

    Other than wind, what would there be in winter? I agree that bugs buzzing and birds chirping aren't very realistic in winter.

    294. Should not be able to eat frozen food while frozen. Can you imagine trying to eat a frozen potato or cabbage?
     
    295. Re-word combining units of wire. Right now it says 'pour into' which doesn't make much sense when combining two units of wire. (side note with this: I noticed that when combining items in your inventory the green progress bar in your inventory does not go away. To remedy this you need to move it to a container or backpack then back to your inventory).

    I don't understand the logic of having 2 different ways to add/replace/remove batteries in the game. With the Flashlight its an easy menu option, but with Radios you have to; place Radio, bring up Radio interface, and finally add/replace/remove Battery. Then if I want to Disassemble it I then have to pick it up again before I'm allowed to do that.
     
    It would be easier just to have 2 menu options:
    1.) When I'm holding the Radio and right click there's an Add/Remove menu option like for Flashlights
    2.) When the Radio is on the counter/ground and right click in the cell its in there's the same menu option.
     
    This would also solve the annoyance of accidentally disassembling Radios with Batteries still in them, since the code as it stands now doesn't recognize if a Radio does or doesn't have a Battery in it.

    Bear in minds everything here is suggest to balance, even if it feel more realistic, if it feel way too long i can adjust it!
     
    For rain water yeah, it's "tainted water",  even if you have fresh water inside a mug, but it outside while it's raining and it'll change it in tainted water, meaning you can be poisonned a bit by drinking it (depend on how much you drink)
     
    For info I'm still working on the admin tools, recently got a huge db to work with so I'm adjusting lot of things... Promise then I'll work on SP stuff again (sorry it took so long, but wanted to do lot of things and as I added lots of anti-abuse/hacking in MP it require lot of testing!)

    289.? Another thing that would be sweet is different clothing and small stuff. Like other types of watches. Pocket watches, the analog watches, ect. 
     
    290. The chance of stumbling when in panic. Lets say you are panicked/in shock and you are running and dodging zombies and you fall. As of right now you can run around in circles around alot of zeds and be safe.

    I haven't tried to use the pots, mugs, etc to collect rain water. Haven't had the need yet
     
    I'm not sure there is a use for empty tin cans yet, but hopefully in the future we can set up tin can traps to make noise of approaching zombies/players.
     
    Are you asking how long it takes to make compost from rotten food? For me I think it was around 2 weeks or so (I didn't time it exactly, but it was around that). I hope it doesn't actually reproduce rotten food

    I have had periodic problems with cooking pots filling -- the first time I tried them out in rain, they filled up great.  I emptied them, put them back out and they might not fill up again even through it rained a few times.  Very sporadic.  Also, I put a bucket out, and it has never filled up.

    Composter takes a long time to make compost from rotten food.  Some food will disappear as it produces compost, but you can only see the compost by getting an empty sack and a shovel and right-clicking the composter.  It'll tell you how much compost you can take as a percentage (alot like the Forage percentage).  But we're talking months.  And since the nutrition changes I don't let nearly as much food go rotten as I once did.

    I thought this is a feature -- pouring out all the toxic water still leaves a "residue" of bad water, essentially to show that the pot is dirty, and you have to have boiled a vessel after it had dirty water in it for it to not make fresh water unclean.
     
    And I think that "2 week" compost had to have been a previous iteration.  They started composting off at one speed, then in a later release made it take 100x longer.  As far as I can tell, making compost is a long-term project now, much like irl.

    In a perfect world, you should avoid drinking rain water until you've had a chance to purify it. Every drop of rain that falls has a condensation nuclei that it forms around. These can be dirt, pollution, bacteria, parasites, viruses, etc. Don't just take my word for it, here's a link to the CDC suggesting the same:

    I always take zombie's shoes off and put it in front of looted house. 1 pair of shoes means house looted, 2 pairs means no water left in sinks etc. in the house.
    But yeah, with NPCs coming, my way could become obsolete if they pick up stuff from the ground, lol.

    I like the randomness of it how it is, as it adds the element of uncertainty and how you know its coming but cant plan for it. If I knew it would go off after say 15 days then I can plan accordingly, which would make the game easier in my opinion. I don't play multiplayer, but when you say Zaidah that you can set the days on the server, can other players see this, or is it only the host that knows?

    Yeah, Zomboid covered by new wave of frustrating negative reviewes in Steam. I am patience, but many fans can't keep patient anymore.

    Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't it only give you the option to remove it? Requiring another nail to then place it again?

    I believe they're asking for the ability to pull it up but still have it be attached to the window so that you would be able to put it down and use it again later without using another nail.

    It would be nice to have the ability to repair walls that you've put up before they are completely destroyed by zeds. Also, it would be cool to be able to pull up floor tiles that you've laid down in the same manner as the already existing tiles.

    Add background noise when listening to radio. For example, if you are listening to rock music, I suggest having some rock music in the background. Not words necessarily, just the music itself.
    242 this kinda goes with 241. I think that text from radio should still be on screen for a certain distance even if you can't see it.
    Here is a basic equation
    Volume=How far away you are from the radio for text to pop up
    IRL just because we can't see the radio doesn't mean we can't hear the words
    The words would pop up from the direction off the radio, meaning if it's to the right of your screen, you'd see on the right side of the screen.

    Been playin quite a bit lately and thought that it would be pretty sweet to be able to have a tab at the top of the inventory for weight. I know when I play other RPGs (Skyrim) and I become over burdened I like to be able to click Sort by Weight and just drop my heaviest shit. Maybe have a completely separate category showing the weights.
