I agree, I can see why they'd want the battery option in the radio interface but having the drop-down option also would make things more consistent. You might want to put this in the small suggestion thread currently ongoing

This is totally understandable, I'm as eager as the next man for Animations update but can certainly appreciate the amount of issues involved in basically rewriting the game mechanics, it's exciting to see the new stuff being worked on, it's great to have those cool videos to show work is being done, but nothing is going to keep half of the community from - not trying to to be rude here be - be rude. I'd like to have a Spiffo cartoon to cheer me up though! (Kudos on the radio / tv thing though - this gives a whole different (and less technical) bunch of modders a chance to add to their gaming experience) But oh shit the haters are gonna hate

I thought the idea was to use a static map - that could be called up and studied, even drawn on/marked - like the 3ds Zelda map but without the radaring? I liked the idea of adding different style maps found from different places and seeing them all taped together and scribbled over

Good idea. Theres also the prospect of including ideas and information in books, magazines, somebodies notes or letters etc... So rather than only your character learning a recipe the player actually gets some of that delicious zombie info too.

I really hope sometime in the near future the devs see sense and just rip off Animal Crossings NPC system in a special 'you wouldnt let it lie now this is what you get mondroid. The amount of variables involved in completing the kind of NPC system theyre talking about is mind boggling to be honest. And fair play to them, theyve stuck to it and refuse to take easy (and money filled) options ... the NPCs are going to be of skynet level AI by the time they are released/trained. Also, I really dislike the idea of vehicles in zomboid to be, it all sounds very GTA and I can imagine it ruining the feel of the game. Hopefully its something that can be an 'opt out' addition, but if not, despite my bad feelings, the way the devs seem to be putting things together this far I cabt help but feel Spiffo is watching over us, its all going to be gpod guys.

I really like this, youre doing an awesome job getting things updated (and it sounds like youre not going easy on yourself with the additions youve got road mapped) Oh, you still manage to run a1.3k in your spare time, i doubt ive even moved that sort of distance in the 6 months I like the dedication youre showing in sticking so close to vanila although I hope youre not going to has your hard work be made redundant when they eventually address everything for releae. One thing Im certainly very wary of is the implementation of vehicles into pz. I hope youre not totally against veering off on your own path if the official version starts going places you feel disrupt the Vanilla feel. So yeah ...
