During the mega test i was living in an upstairs apartment in west point with the stairs safely sledged, whenever another player entered the store below me the lights would go off in the apartment. Abit creepy but also a handy early warning system. So maybe this helps to squash the bug as it seems that the lights turn off when you enter a building, even if another player is occupying the building.

  3. It was a good crack, thanks to all involved. It was actually my first MP experience and i just hid for most of it,haha, i only have a single player mentality, i almost started a garden and built rainwater barrels.

  5. Confirmed. Someone had brought this up on Steam also but it seems to have disappeared. Can we have some kind of acknowledgement at least? Id like to he in on the Megatest later today but right now the game will not run.
  6. The Dead Rising series, while awesome is far from serious, even if the spiffo suit was part of the starting gear, PZ would still be a whole lot more serious than Dead Rising, i do still secretly wish we could use all kinds of things as weapons as in that series tho....

  8. There seems to be some sound bug that happens at or near some houses, sounds like a super loud rain storm crossed with the helicopter, i think its connected to the new radio sounds...

In fact, in real life, if your building something like fences, barricades or even buildings then screws are what you'd use, nails are not so great in construction... maybe the use for nails could be instead of nails for a small 'hp' boost to the built thing. That would be more realistic, also it would be less noisy than hammering but much slower.
  11. And apart from dangerous, we really need to be able to forage ALL of the wild parts of the map, otherwise whats the point of all those survival crafting skills? I would think this shouldnt be too dificult to fix....
  12. Needs to have Foraging zones added otherwise its not such a great area fir a long term survival.
  13. Not strictly true. You can take the knob or handle off most types of door without it being open. The insides, containing the locking mechanism can only be removed when the door is open but its possible to force or kick the door open then change the locks and fix up thw door if necessary.

My suggestion for about a year now is to make the Saw similar to the fishing rod + paperclip, The Saw breaks and needs replacement blades, can be found singular or in boxes like paperclips, maybe you even need a screwdriver. Im not so bothered by the Hammer, if you break a Hammer whilst using it for construction its either made cheaply or your doing it wrong, a good Hammer can last decades without a doubt but to my knowledge there is no saw on eaeth that stays sharp for ever, im into carpentry stuff irl and tbh the Saw is pretty immersion breaking for me, worse than the Crowbar that lools like a Bat.

    Thank you for YOUR time dude. Its really a shame but it seems that all too often in order to register a negative opinion on this forum you need to figure out a massive, well worded essay in order to simply defend yours and other right to an unpopular view. Really if you look back at the posts most of the venom, sweeping generalisations and 'un lovely-ness' is often used against people voicing a concern over the games delevopment or future. Sad times. And damn right i love this game and care about its development. I decide if Early Access is for me but each EA game is different from the other, as we are also different from each other. If i had to nail down my beef with the development its that i dont like to feel im being lied to, fobbed off or placated. The term 'Buying time' was also used. I feel that and i dont like it. Maybe thats my own personal stuff but its there and causes me concern over PZ's future and i have a right to voice that opinion, forums arnt just to gush about people youv never met. Tbh i dont care much for the Animations and NPC's would probably change the gameplay into something else, but saying 'soon' for many months is just a joke. A joke that has gotten old quickly. Anyway, burn me, im just a digital shadow of a real person.

    Or July!? Remember folks, when TIS say soon they mean next year. Going by how it looks on the recent Steam reviews, this game is not lookimg like a great purchase, even tho we know it is, it dont look good.   21. Well iv heard there are Zeds at the prison but the town with the movie theater and all the houses and the tall apartments has ZERO zombies spawing in the streets, only some in the buildings. Its really lame, no need to fear the house alarms or even rhe heli event
