It'll be fun to watch my character do push ups while I slouch over in my chair, mouse in one hand, slice of pizza in the other.
 
The main problem I see with this is people wanting to apply it to different areas, which may be a slippery slope. Will you also be able to practice swinging your bat (learn accuracy)? Practice aiming and reloading a gun without firing?
 
Of course, you can say yes to all these, and I would, but... yeah. Sounds like a neat idea to me, but your character should get bored if all he does is grind push ups all day.

The players that stop playing because the easy mode is too easy are not players I want, frankly.
 
If they don't have the brains to choose a harder mode then they aren't really worth catering to.

I really don't get this... If it's too easy they can just move onto survival (or a sandbox).

I think it'd be neat if instead of jumping out a second story window, the character went through the window and hung from the window sill on the other side. It could allow you to climb back up if you hadn't intended to jump out the window, but also if you wanted to jump, you can drop down from a much lower height that just leaping out the window. Realistically hanging out a second story window and dropping down should give you a sprain at worst.
 
As for falling off flat roofs, I think you shouldn't be able to just walk off just by pressing the moving keys. I'd prefer having to hold e to hang off the edge of the platform, and then doing the "drop down" thing again to prevent major injury.
 
Of course these should both be changeable in the options in case someone wishes to fracture their leg all the time.

I wouldn't even bother, zombies are already lvl 100 diers. You'll never catch up.

I think I could easily sleep on a floor as long as I had something to rest my head on. A pillow and blanket would be nice, but I could settle for no blanket and using a bag instead of the pillow.
 
I think coldness should be taken into account too. Sleeping on the ground will make you cold (less so if it's carpeted), but having separation through one of those raised camping beds or just sleeping in a regular chair or bed should help.
 
So basically, additional sleep modifiers could be: Having a pillow and blanket, being raised from the floor.

I wouldn't like a stalker that's just gameplay elements... As in, you can never find them. When they add NPCs though they'll probably add the fear and creep factor.
Imagine waking up to an NPC standing over you. Or seeing an NPC staring at you from a window then disappearing.
 
Finding zombies in bathrooms is meant to be a jumpscare btw, you just get used to it.
 
Things like the dead people surrounded with bleach is also intended to be creepy. Also you will find random dead bodies that you didn't create.  Even if you set zombies to zero.
I've only seen this a few times, but sometimes you may go into a house and see one room is barricaded and you can hear thumping from inside.
 
Also I've never been blind drunk in this game, but I think you begin to see hallucinations of zombies that aren't real, or atleast you used to.
(I think there was also a glitch where they could hurt you, but that might have been a joke)
 
The devs are definitely interested in the creep factor.
 
This would be pretty cool. The dormant zombie also kinda adds up with the reason the devs chose slow dumb zombies. You're always paranoid whether you didn't shake that one last zombie, and if they're slowly making their way to your safehouse. Knowing that the zombie saw you, and that it could follow you home is pretty creepy.
 
Also, instead of zombies instantly turning around when they hear noise. Maybe have them slowly cock their heads and turn. It could get pretty creepy if you thought they heard you but they were just moving a bit.

I'm pretty sure the dangerous animals would be stuck in the cages until they starved. Only exhibits with more or less harmless animals are left open (in Australia that's the Koalas and Wallabies).

But yes, this makes sense, any worm you did find in the snow would likely be a wormcicle™ by now.

I hope that eventually most items will be destructible and then salvageable. I think the devs want this too. Already you can harvest scraps from electronics, and soon metal from cutlery and such.
