What you mean with "player to player trading container system"? The game already has a trading system, but don't use containers, you just trade with another player and the trade window pops up

being able to trade with containers for offline trading.

  2. Thanks. Yeah i have seen some that code idk if its yours or someone else. Would u be willing to let me customize your code(ill give u credit). I have custom starting items code that im working on and would like to combine that with it. My end project is quiet large anywhere i can save time would be great.

  3. With this idea i can think of custom maps and "missions" would be great.

Like maps from 1x1 to 5x5.

And "missions" like team A having to take a place that team B has to defend.

Most time surviving team (with waves of hordes, limited items on the map to balance and force the players to take action, like 1 sledge for game and so many things to make it fun).

Or defend the Spiffo, last team standing with the only Spiffo toy in the game, wins.

Love it. Thanks for the input.

Once i get the base of the mod finished i can make a shorter game mode like that with a longer mode as well.  I find it hard to have enough play time and a mode like that would make quicker PVP games.

I am part of a small gaming clan (HYPE Gaming) that really enjoys Zomboid, but feel it lacks a Competitive feel. We are working on a mod to make Zomboid PvP more structured for competitive play. The goal of this mod is to make Zomboid a “slightly” faster pace along with emphasis on team vs team gameplay.  We have already began development but would like help from the community on ideas and some coding.

I can imagine it could gain a competitive twist if PVP was ever tidied up a bit - mostly if firearms versus other players was not so super effective. Even then, it would become more of a 'outdoors' survival game with a hint of zombie elements, rather than the zombie apocalypse survival game that it currently is.

Noted thank you. As far as "outdoor survival game" looking to get farther away from that. We want more zombies but a balance of taking out the threat of zombies and players. Trying to spin off of Battle Royal mode from H1Z1 but not in no way kill the Zomboid element. The main idea is to add more structure without taking much away.

    Features

    Gameplay:

Players join teams and pick a team leader ( Full in-game gui Support)
    Teams of 3-5 Players
Killing the team leader will end re-spawning of players on that team.
Remove all safe houses after utilities turn off

    Professions:

    All new and revised professions
    Limited profession choices
    Custom starting items for professions
Professions are more developed on start( Maybe and extra skill points in their fields)

    New Items:

New Basic Crafting Weapons *(i.e. More Durable Bat)
A few more Weapons and guns
    ??????

    Other  Ideas

Large amount of Zombies spawn on outer edges of map and migrate towards the center forcing players to move into a smaller area  to fight each other. (after utilities shut off)

Custom Map (smaller more condense map)

    Team Ranking system
We have more ideas as well but are looking for input

*(i.e. slight Xp modifier when team leaders is present)

We would like any kind of positive input along with more help with coding. Anyone willing to help or test please let me know. We fully understand that there are some loops holes that have to be tackled to make this experience work and be enjoyable.
