  1. I got a question about the headshots, they may not be instant kill, the bullet might just graze you or even go completely through but do almost no damage provided if you are lucky
  2. No the body armor would be for you to take when the zombie is dead. Also if you hit the zombie in the chest instead of the head it will be much less likely to get crippled or knocked down
  3. You might not be too sure about these suggestions but what if a gunshot to the arm did no damage to your actual health just bleeding. And you also had a separate blood condition bar. Once the blood bar gets low you get dizzy and eventually die. Also for heart injuries it doesn't matter, it is almost impossible to survive any injury to the heart without modern medical treatment at a hospital which isn't available in PZ
  4. I got an addition to make. A shot to the stomach may or may not inhibit eating(not too sure), but when someone is shot in the stomach, doctors are far more concerned about infection than the actual injury due to contents in the stomach spilling out
  5. Adding body armor to project zomboid would probably take time. I'm talking about an assault vests, they don't really protect you from bullets, just let you have quick access to your ammunition so you can reload quickly

  7. This is pretty simple. Whenever you get injured there is a small chance it may just barely graze you and do minimal damage. For example, a bullet grazes your shoulder and leaves a cut instead of smashing into your shoulder shattering bones and destroying arteries. Being grazed is much more likely at longer ranges and would induce panic as someone realizes they may have just barely escaped death or serious injury with only a scratch

Just make socks useful because socks are awesome and reduces the chances of frostbite and foot conditions like trench foot Although body armor is not in the game(at least not yet), I dont think this would be too hard to add. Assault Vests Can be worn over clothing Provides a very small boost to temperature Can store only certain items like knives ammunition and pistols. Having an assault vest with ammunition loaded inside matching the gun being used halves reload time making it good for gunfights. Something like this

  12. Mad Dan, proning could be useful to combat because it would expose less of your body to gunfire and make it easier to fire gunshots
  13. I have a pretty brutal idea. If suppressants DO get added, a pretty tough trait would be adding an infected trait where the character is already infected with the zombie virus. He or she will get 1 24 hour suppressant to give them some extra time but after that they have to constantly search for drugs to keep them alive

Ideas to add some realism to gunfights Suppression-Bullets flying around you will cause panic and add a separate suppression stat that reduces accuracy Being in cover will reduce the effects of suppression Cover-Add an extra option to take cover when clicking on a crate, a wall, etc. There will be soft and hard cover Soft Cover(a thin wooden wall) provides concealment but little protection Hard Cover(Thick Brick Metal Walls) Provide heavy protection(depends on material of cover) and concealment Crouching and proning...-Not much to say about this just a crouching and proning mechanic crouching and/or proning will increase accuracy and stealth decrease suppression but limit movement
  15. No, the only suppressant that can be crafted is makeshift suppressants and those would be the unstable ones. Also, if makeshift suppressants were to be added, they would likely require a large amount of hard to acquire chemicals to make. Also it only lasts 12 hours. A "suppressant maker" job could cost a lot of points due to usefulness An interesting thing to add would be to able to craft makeshift suppressants, you would need some sort of chemistry bench and science equipment. Good point though, because if it was THAT easy to make suppressants for zombie infection, the virus probably wouldn't have spread as much
  16. Then can you add a viewable player kill counter for yourself? Although you won't know have many other 'll be people have killed, you will be able to see how many bandits, innocents, and those people in the middle, that you have killed. Because anyone can count right?

Civ and Mili Versions Civillian provides improved night vision and requires regular batteries to operate(could be found at police stations and rarely at houses Military-Provides superior nightvision but can only be found at checkpoints and in military bases, they also requires special batteries to operate
  19. I forgot that not everyone will be happy if something like this would be added because although this is not an actual cure this would still be a huge change to a game like this. This suppressant option would be toggleable so if a host or a solo player wants to play without the suppressants they are free to disable them.

  21. This is self explanatory For multiplayer, let people be able to see how many zombies other people have killed. I would suggest that it would also show how many people you have killed but make that a private stat or else people would be able to make educated guesses to whether a certain person is dangerous or not

If you have read the zombie survival guide you know that even when the virus is dead a zombie corpse is still a hazard Pretty much it is an incentive to either move or destroy both player and zombie corpses Over time, corpses of both the living and the dead will begin to fester and will become huge health hazards. Although the corpses of dead zombies will be unable to give you the zombie infection, they will still be capable of giving you plenty of diseases that are just as dangerous So if you are living in an area full of dead bodies try to burn them or move them before all that decomposition occurs and all those diseases arrive
  23. These zombies will not be superhuman. They would be just ordinary zombies, wearing anywhere from motorcycle helmets to military body armor and helmets so good luck killing them. Military zombies-They MAY be wearing bullet resistant vests and/or helmets As zombies really only need their brains (you all know that) the vests will only be useful when they are dead, the real problem is their helmets. If a zombie is wearing a military helmet, it will be somewhat harder to kill them. A player will be required to do one of these things somehow knock the helmet off, stab the zombie in the brain, shoot through their helmets at close range(this would make the helmets useless when the zombie is dead however as the helmets are now pierced and useless), or do an attack powerful enough to smash through the helmet(ex. a sledgehammer) For the bottom two-Fortunately these helmets will give no protection from bullets Zombie with bike helmets-Not much tougher than the average zombie, you just got to hit them a little harder or maybe get a few more hits in Zombie with motorcycle helmet-Unlike bike helmets and military helmets, these can't be knocked off, and the zombie can't be stabbed in the face because its a motorcycle helmet There is a UPSIDE to this-As the motorcycle helmet is covering the zombie's face, they are unable to bite you, however they can still scratch you This will leave a player to either shoot through the helmet or smash through the helmet What are you guys thoughts on this??? This would be a much more realistic scenario because there could be some random person biking and then they get bitten and turn into a zombie while still having their bike helmet on
  24. I can guarantee SOMEONE has suggested this before but can you guys add proning and stealth suits? It would provide massive amounts of stealth reduce sound and provide extra cover from gunfire. Another Idea Troll Vaccines: Player can craft fake vaccines in multiplayer Only the creator will know its fake It can be modified to be fatal when use Also, the suppressants cannot cure the disease only slow it down. So you will need a constant supply of drugs to keep yourself alive. Or... if you don't really have anything useful on you, you can just not take any medication, die, and respawn
