  1. Go fuck yourself idiot. It isn't my job to make the public branch playable which it isn't. on their own forums? how else do i get support for this pile of trash, since steam doesnt give any? it was playable last year. technically i own that game too and i want a copy of the playable game or i want a fucking refund, it's that simple;.
  2. zero dev support for this trash game. if i was you i'd forget about it ever getting close to what it should play like Lol
  3. controller isnt opening windows properly in 33 or 34 bld. menu doesnt work neither does the button.
  4. I think that when you use Q to shout there should be sounds for Hey! and Over here! Sometimes you aren't looking at the screen. It would be great for locating people.
  5. Yes. You should really be able to set which weapons get selected. Instead of it having the default blunt/blade/gun or whatever it is.
  6. Or match up cds/records/tapes/whatever to folders of albums or music on your pc.
  7. 4 mins in game is like what, half an hour or something depending on the settings? So that's more than time. One minute if that's the case should equate to realism in terms of the action I think.
  8. Yeah but still no controller recognition in-game.
  9. 34.8 doesn't recognize controllers in the menu at all.
  10. The problem I see with this is that not everyone is book learned. So for instance, maybe more prevalent when NPC's are added, but I'd like it if you could have someone who has high skill "teach" someone to read, or how to do something, instead of relying on books. That could maybe balance it out without forcing high loot spawns.
  11. Similar contradictions happen all the time. Take TWD comic as an example - they were wearing zombie guts on their clothes to mask themselves but dipping say an arrow or knife in the zombie guts and sticking someone with it infects them basically 100%? Then later on you have people wearing the zombie skins LOL. So just forget consistency in something like this, seriously, it isn't worth the effort haha
  12. This borderlines on the insane, e.g. having to poop and pee in game.
  13. Maybe a similar VATS targeting system to fallout. I also was thinking last night of a "set target" thing so for instance, to have your person have their gun pointed at someone (maybe more interesting for PvP) to have them as a hostage basically.
  14. Basically I'm proposing something similar to I think what you can do as a MP server admin, which is to have the game auto-clean itself up every so often. Either that or add item decomposition or something. I always find the more stuff on screen and the more clutter the slower it goes after a while. I hate having to constantly pick up all items and stuff them in containers or having to burn bodies or something to clean up the screen.
  15. The ones that look obvious (blackberries/raspberries/blueberries) should never make you sick. Should also add wild strawberries to the mix. Give people something at least since I don't think there's too many people who aren't familiar with those fruits and what they look like. The others should work on the same random system though so you have to earn something as well from the skill. red/black currants should be added, red raspberry, there's another plant that are like little tomatoes basically (look kind of like red currants or those red berries already in-game). There are also some I'm sure are poisonous that look like those red/white berries.
  16. RNG. Your skill level vs the enemy ai skill, whether zombies or people. So your quietness correlates to your sleeping (imagine snoring) or maybe if you took asthmatic you'd breathe heavier, determining if zombies would hear you to find you while you sleep to attack you (if not in the open). Same if someone came to you and attacked you - your sleeping (heavy or light, so whether you'd wake up etc.) against skill levels then (combat fitness etc), if you win the draw the attacking person dies and vice versa. Not sure how you'd balance it entirely but I think this is the only realistic way to do it at least right now. Would have acoustics for various mediums (tent walls vs house walls windows/doors open/shut etc) which would play a role too I suppose both ways (for you to hear zombies/people or them to hear you, depending). I'm not sure what else.
  17. i imagine this being impossible to balance, also it depends on types of calories whether you put on weight. that said you can feasibly last for 60 days or more without eating before you completely starve to the point of wasting away to death. My guy is usually starving by 1 day in the previous build (havent tried this yet). Types of food will make you more/less hungry (carbs cause an insulin response which tells you you're hungry; fats are more satiating and keep you feeling fuller longer).
  18. You would have to stop and drink way too much in my opinion. Try not having a water bottle in your inventory and see how long it takes for your thirst to go up. I like it the way it is personally and it makes the most sense. You wouldn't drink unless thirsty anyway. Orange soda in reality should increase thirst if it doesn't already. The difference is that soda gives bonuses like happiness within the game it would be a waste of beneficial modifiers to just auto-drink the soda, comparably to the water which is what you need to survive. I see a lot of people drinking when not thirsty and if you were to play this game on hardcore survival settings you would be wasting a tremendous amount of water because of that. It has no benefit to drinking water unless your thirst increases because there's no perk associated with it other than its necessity.
  19. Yeah but a roof is infinitely more work than a floor. To me most people could really only build a ceiling, that making it more of a floor above their heads. So therefore, there should be a ladder you can find which can give you access to making a ceiling. In reality to do the roof you'd have no choice but to go up onto the roof.
  20. The maps have a fixed position on the main map. I'm not sure but I don't think you can load them into a save you already have or if so I don't know how to do it. But honestly I mean, unless you're totally bored, I say add mods to do more stuff over more places since getting anywhere at this point is more of a chore than it is fun (unless you're on MP then it's tolerable at least). Also I'm not sure again since maybe the maps were updated but I felt as though they had a lot of game breaking bugs dealing with some places not having windows/floors/ and having doorways blocked by objects.
  21. So say, during winter it give a higher instance of injury? (ground's frozen) or what/how does it determine if you got injured? Great addition that helps keep the trowel from being overly important.
  22. You're right. Job skills/traits are currently pointless. It has more to do with recipes known going into the game.
  23. The ability to simply craft a ladder would circumvent a lot of the ridiculousness surrounding this (at least in terms of how the fortress looks). That and I think it's far more practical for someone to climb a ladder than a rope anyway. But sheet ropes probably do need some kind of nerf.
  24. It would really only slow spoilage and not totally prevent it. I'd like to see it but maybe it would work better if you could tell the temperature, but then probably only after finding a thermometer.
