  2. 8% your battery is dead. Sometimes it is even hard to get the cars started with 100% battery. I can have a car who's overall repair is over 85% and still it stalls. I just take it that it is the cold weather.
  3. What would help me out is if you specify the kinds of things you are looking for. As it is I am just playing my game as normal and game play is pretty good. In another thread I mentioned how the driving on the server is smoother than in sandbox. Other than this I have not noticed much. Except I did die twice from scratches on Spiffo that almost never happened in SB.
  4. This was my intent. So far I really enjoy playing in sandbox than I do on a server. Things might be a bit more fun if I was in a group but so far have not ran into anyone.
  5. I am not a huge fan of the new lighting system either but I must admit that it really is pretty true to what you get when out after dark without a light source. This really force some downtime or you need to think ahead to be able to spend the time close to a base. Only thing I must say is that there should be an option on this. I am getting older and now things that are dark on screen are pretty hard to see. Not just gaming but I have to up the gamma on TV shows and movies I watch. I just do not have the ability anymore to see minute shadings. In general I think I will keep the dark nights as I think if something like this happened in real life I would be hugging safe places after dark. Yet I think I would like a sandbox setting to at least opt out of this if I would like. Also playing my first server (SpiffoServer) and I am noticing that I have smoother gameplay on that than I do in sandbox. While driving I get micro pauses/rubber banding where on the server it is just so smooth that I risk going to fast. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit AMD FX-8320 (8 Core) 16GM RAM MSI 970 GAMING (MS-7693) NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
  6. Or limit them to just the windows and open doors/walls. Perfectly fine with black areas while inside. Also would be nice to be able to adjust certain settings like these when selecting preset options like 'six months later'. A universal option setting if you will.
  7. Really do enjoy this mod. Can get expensive to buy back the bad traits but that is what I get for the extra perks.
  8. Also wanted to add that when putting on a SWAT helmet my welding mask disappeared.
  9. Well I am not sure how the mechanics would work with bandits being added. Honestly if we go this route then there this would be another entire game. We would have to start setting up traps, alarms, checks against the bandits skills to see if they set traps against our skills setting traps. PZ is pretty much a brain dead (pun was not really intended) game. Play till you do something stupid and your life is lost. Adding all these other things make things great for the long time players but it really is changing the entire concept of how PZ started. I like mods. You can set things up how you game style wants to go. If anything I think PZ should stay simpler overall but it would be nice to see them add background mechanics that modders can run with.
  10. Less I would say for amount of resource and more for the amount of time you spend in a spot or do things with it. 7 Days to Die has an interesting concept of a heat map. IE the more you do in an area the more it brings the critters to your area. Everything from staying in a spot to developing the area. The more you do the more likely things are to be drawn to your area. This would sorta force a person to try and develop multiple safe houses and garden patches to try and keep areas not so active. -edit Heat maps due make sense but since the zeds we fight in this game are basically mindless it really would not work that well since the design here is them wandering into areas.
  11. Where is it located? Also tried looking at it as a bigger image and nothing showed up. Not sure if you can do anything but thought I would let you know.
  12. One thing I was thinking about some time back was that the zombies could randomly pick things up. So leaving things on the ground could disappear over time with each zombie passing by might pick something up. I tend to drop a lot of things on the ground as it is the easiest way I know if I have searched a zombie and might want that loot later. Also would like to see zombies having a chance to destroy wooden boxes and everything would be dropped to the ground, and possibly picked up. So having your base overrun you could loose a lot if there are many zombies running through it. Well not loose it as it would now be on the zombie. I can imagine this would be a huge data issue as now the game would need to keep track of each zombie that picked anything up.

    Cure Zombie Virus

Thanks for the mod. So is this a full cure? IE once taken I can never turn?
  14. Actually a very real issue would be zombies bones puncturing tires. Bodies getting caught in the wheel wells. Getting into the actual engine and ripping a belt. Busting the radiator. There is some very real world issues that would be justified with running over zombies that would justify doing damage to the cars. Along with more damage to windshields and car door damage. Smaller cars should get bogged down in zombie groups. Larger ones should face a higher rate of flat tires and engine issues.
  15. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=911399676 Steam Workshop :: Craft helper Mod (v1.1.2) for PZ 36.4 You can also use this site for reference. http://undeniable.info/pz/wiki/recipelist.php List of All Project Zomboid, Hydrocraft Mod and ORMtnMan's Real Gun Mod (ORGM) Recipes / Crafts As to the rest many items tend to be extremely rare drops. Looking for clamps I could search for months and then hit two houses in a row that has them. It would be nice if they had a higher spawn rate in auto shops. Also are you doing everything? Here is a list for making a battery array. http://undeniable.info/pz/wiki/recipe.php?ID=4386 Information about Project Zomboid recipe: Research Battery Array
  16. This is the correct place. The biggest issues was corrected but we are slowly adding things that are not working. Small things like my Canned Cheese wont open. To sleeping bags are not working. Post anything you find.

    Cure Zombie Virus

I like the idea of a cure less and less even after 1000+ hours of play. More like a temp cure for one bite. IE a salve that eliminates a bite. Use uncommon items so that there can only be a limited amount of cures in a given game even after scouring the entire map. So antibiotics, gun kit, all three types muffler, candy cane, ... Basically rare types of items. Need something from each even though the idea of them is stupid. IE a special metal in the muffler. A specific lube that comes in a gun kit.... Your story play it like you want. Fish of a certain weight. A dead squirrel. An Ice pick ( I think I never seen an ice pick before). Lock it behind multiple skills. Mechanic to build device. Electrician to wire/calibrate. Metal workers to frame. Medical to have the knowledge.
  18. 1% per scratch. I like the idea. Max 50% (like you could get that far before dying) but yeah it would at least give me hope and I would play out till I turn. It's no cure and no real way to manipulate events since to get the slight bite immunity you have to be a fighter in the thick of things always risking a bite.
  19. Same. Honestly think there should be a higher chance of survival. Not a lot but after all the character is a survivor. As it is now if I get bit I just end the game. A bit of hope would be nice and horrible all at the same time.
  20. I am all for something along these lines but it would be nice if we could get rid of the zombies a bit easier. The method in place works, just that it is clumsy. It would be nice to be able to dig a grave and then right click on the corpse, click bury, and then the avatar takes over and moves it to the nearest open grave. Same with the cremation mod. Could even give your character an happy bonus for clearing a screen.
  21. Never seen that double green axe icon before. Why is it there and what is it for?
  22. OK. Sitting back and really thinking things through in PZ terms I think I can get behind this. Brain moodles: Stage 4: No exp gain during a stage 4 episode, 75% combat penalty. Fatigue at 75% faster. IE get someplace safe. Stage 3: 75% loss in skill gain, 50% combat penalty. Fatigue at 50% faster rate. Stage 2: 50% loss in skill gain, 25% combat penalty. Fatigue at 25% faster rate. Stage 1: 25% loss in skill gain, 0% combat penalty. With brain injury moodle can fluctuate. Push yourself to hard you can go up a stage. Rest and can do more. So say a behind the scene number is reached at time of accident. 250-1000 random number. Not fully healed till reaches 0. First 48 is always a stage 4. But resting will increase heal rate and reduce overall number. Background number can never increase but it can come to a stop. So after two weeks you could be a stage 1 even if your background number is still high. Over do the exertion and you can start climbing a stage. Yeah. OK. Won me over. This could be doable but I think it should be an opt in though. And really heal rate should be based on medical skill so as to give players a reason to up it. If in multiplayer then a person should check on the patient at least as many times a day as the stage a person is at to help speed things along. So stage 4 would need to be looked at 4x a day while stage 1 only once. To make things easily trackable it would be a bandage over the head that needs replaced.
  23. Agreed. The First Aid skill is kind of worthless in sandbox as you get so few chances to train it up without, as you stated, deliberately hurting yourself. Steam Workshop :: Get Firstaid skill by examining dead zombies This is a mod that is along the lines of what your saying though. Works well when I tried it.
  24. You stack to many real life injuries/medical issues into the game it will destroy it. Some things like frostbite I can see. I would like to see that as a possibility, even with the new improved thermals. Other things I would not even want to see till after later in the game. Things like pressure sores early on are kinda annoying to think about. Brain injuries. I'll start a new game. Takes months to heal. I'll start a new game. Since I do not play the vanilla version is there a way to get months of antibiotics? As it is the games I play it is hard to find and when you do it is only one or two pills. Where are you going to find months worth? Only way I would want to see most of these created is if the First Aid class is ramped up where your level has a real benefit in curing yourself.
