  1. currently the only way to have energy after power cuts out is fuel powered generator,but there are other ways to produce electricity: -solar cells-most efficient during sunny days and in certain degree during cloudy days,won't produce any energy at night -windmill that could be build with car alternator and metal components,would require skills in electrical and welding,also require maintenance from time to time additionaly something what would store produced electricity-battery array(or battery bank if you prefer) it's just properly connected car batteries together, would require skills in electricity and electrical wire as well in amounts that depends from quantity of batteries in array to connect them(the more the merrier)
  2. something what would help to attract attention/distract zombies, would require to be equipped as a primary and item what we are about to launch from it (coin,pebble,etc.) as secondary can be used to distract zombies and make them move to place where object make noise(won't work on soft terrain like grass,sand or dirt),or to hit and detach single zombies from bigger groups and deal with them one by one
  3. for long guns they would literally turn them into spears,including spear charge ability for short ones they would work pletty like regular knives-character will stab zombies if they are too close,additionaly like with knives character would be able to perform silent takedown from behind also for both types stabbing knocked down zombies(performed on zombies if character standing very near and aiming on them with LMB otherwise character will shoot like usual)
  4. pretty like in the forest,i like this idea,tree falling down that require sawing on smaller logs instead of disappearing and leaving logs,not to mention that tree can fall on uncautious character P.S. i think you mean hacksaw/garden saw instead of zipper :)
  5. it would have more sense if guns would be dismantleable for parts(firing pin,breech,springs,trigger,screws and bolts,stock,slide,grip.etc),i mean, parts would degrade separately,mechanical parts because of firing and stock because of hitting zeds,besides it would require other button than for stomping because its default for all weapons both firearms and melee,i would rather prefer bayonets for guns instead of just bashing them with stock,it would be more efficient,i even wrote about them some time ago
  6. other purpose of lab than scavenging for resources it would be place where we would be able to find some answers about zombie disease and zombie virus,that place would also contain imprisoned zombies as test subjects and zombified staff,and in further future even non-zombified scientists survivors that could explain some things even more clearly and also security guards(both zombified and ones who managed to survive) that idea came from 2013 world war z movie
  7. first aid skill is rather useful on MP,on SP most of people can't reach even 1st lvl from 0,would be more useful when devs implement NPC
  8. that would make traveling much harder for character,although he still could enter cars and travel as a passenger in MP i'm suggesting +8 points here for choosing this trait
  9. would be very useful after zombies breaks doors in our safehouse,especially when character isn't skilled enough to create new via carpentry
  10. it's commonly used during fishing,it's powder that you have to pour with water,form something like meatball, then throw it in place where you're about to cast. it's purpose is to attract fishes to fishing area-would increase chance to catch fish in that area i'm also using it IRL
  11. dude devs said big NO to implementing any mutated zombies to game (including zombified animals) besides zombies eating other zombie corpse... really? didn't you watched any zombie movies? zombies not attacking nor eating each other,that NEVER happened in any movies and games
  12. that could give us advantage while we fighting them with melee,would make zed that were pushed back collide with zeds behind him what could stagger them and even knock them down,they also would be very susceptible while on stairs
  13. something i'm also using IRL when im going fishing,character would be able to find or prepare it,then use it in designated water areas,after some time catching in this area have higher chance to succed
  14. character who wield long blunts,long blades and wood/fireaxe would be able to hit zombies in neck. in case of blunts and big axes character have chance to break zombies neck,and in case of long blades character would have chance to decapitate them(by the way in case of zombie apocalypse IRL i also would aim in neck if i would have to fight with long blades)
  15. currently we have two liquids that can be considered flammable-whiskey and gasoline,but here comes another ones -solvent commonly used to remove paint stains -grain alcohol like whiskey can be used to disinfect wound and sterilize bandages but cannot be drinked(like bootle of disinfectant) -kerosene all of them can used to create molotovs
  16. something what would be great for anyone who fight with one handed weapons 1.shield can be equipped "as additional"(left hand) and make player much harder to injure for zeds on front,or it can be attached to character's back what would make character bit less vulnerable for attacks from behind,shields can also block melee attacks in PvP,of course they won't stop bullets instead character will take damage and shield itself 2.shield sprint charge-character would be able to sprint with shield on zombies and knock them down,then finish them police riot shields would appear in police stations and on infected riots and in police VANs makeshift ones can be made from planks or metal sheets by character via carpentry and welding
  17. another thing it would be nice to see in game my suggested stats: 30% weight reduction if equipped 12 capacity would obviously can contain various types of ammo would appear in military bases and police stations and in vechicles respective to them
  18. as we all now in current build zombies after they jump over the lower fence they falling on their faces on the ground then they stand up and i see another opportunity here-stake trap-its simple we can put stakes on ground along of fence,when they jump over fence then they would just fall and impale on stakes(only one zombie can be impaled on one quarter of stake trap what means another zombies would be able to easily walk on corpse,unless corpse is removed) and similar trap-excavacated hole with stakes on bottom and covered with branches twigs and leafs,both zombies and players can fall down and die. zeds would just walk around uncovered holes and third non-lethal one-just ordinary line low above ground tied and expanded between two objects that can make zeds and unaware players stumble and slow them down in consequence
  19. currently we know that devs planning to add wildlife to game and opportunity to hunt,and i've seen already 3D rabbit and deer,but they are passive towards player and they will escape if player let them know about his/her presence(the same for zombies) and here's additional idea from me to add that non-passive and potentially dangerous part of wildlife and i mean here wolves and bears and they would me much more dangerous than zombies because they aren't as slow as they would attempt to attack both players and zombies when spotted (by the way bear or wolf pack dealing with bigger group of zeds would be something worth of watching),that would make deeper parts of forest safe from zombies but not from wildlife,what in cosequence would make guns more reliable,wildlife will ocassionally appear on outskirts of cities. who would need mutated zeds if you gonna have to also deal with dangerous animals during apocalypse
  20. currently we have guns with cal .233 and .308 for rifles and 9mm .38 , .44 , .45 pistols and i think it's time to at least mention about even bigger guns here's my two ideas: -.50 cal. revolver that fits 5 rounds (idea based on real life revolver-taurus raging bull),greatest damage among all pistols and revolvers in game -.50 cal. sniper rifle (based on M82A2 Barret),greatest range,damage and penetration among all weapons,additionaly fired bullets would completely ignore bulletproof gear,would be also one of hardest item to obtain in game,mainly from military facilities and on soldier zeds
  21. zombie that wears certain headwear/masks (motorcycle helmet,hockey mask etc.) shouldn't be able to bite character,because of obvious reasons (unless character knock them off during combat) similar thing for scratching for zombies who wears gloves,although it would depend from type of gloves and their condition(welding and leather gloves would disturb them most)
  22. trousers,jeans,shirts,jackets,etc. should have pockets-small capacity and weight reduction(1.0 capacity and 5% weight reduction as my suggestion),additional pockets can be attached via tailoring
  23. slingshot+peeble would be much better,althoug your idea is not bad
  24. some of buildings and rooms should have them, they could serve as alternate way in/out for rooms building and even alternate escape route,additionaly some hidden items can be found in them character would be able to crawl through them but zombies too,attacking during crawling would be rather limited because of available space,although character would be still able to use pistols to attack zeds crawling behind and on front him/her screwdriver and/or crowbar would be required to open covering of vent
  25. about 3rd one-it would be really bad idea to punch zombie with bare fist because of chance of injury hands and become infected,it would make more sense with brass knuckles but if zombie apocalypse would happen IRL i wouldn't use it as weapon(unless i would have no other choice)i would prefer to fight them with long melee,especially spears,its just safer,although i'm aproving idea for disabling biting for zombies by breaking their jaws (i've even written about it in one of my posts) by blunt weapons,the same for zombies wearing motorcycle helmet,hockey masks etc. about 6th one-to have slight chance to even injure a zombie with rock it would require to be big and heavy one OR use something like ancient slingshot,although throwing rocks and other things(cans that can be more noisy and more likely attract/distract them) to distract bigger groups and attract single or smaller groups would be extremely useful,including option to break windows with rocks
