  1. If you ever find out about the Blue Barrel, please post to let the rest of us know. Well, if I didn't miss anything in the scripts (and I used search), there is no way to obtain it. Therefore, biogas tank is also uncraftable. I think, we need a "Paint the barrel" recipe: metal barrel + blue paint (1 unit) + paint brush (keep) -> blue barrel. Or just a biogas collector recipe from regular metal barrel. http://www.aggressivegaming.org/newdawn/wiki/item.php?Name=HCEmptybarrelblue
  2. this mod hasn't been worked on an like 2 years now, you should read through the thread a bit before bumping ancient mods, just saying.
  3. Hey hydro, the dissection table was still broken lol, when you dissect the body it would disappear, So I found you that it said "HCDissectiontabledissectedbody" instead of "HCDissectiontabledissected" so I fixed that bellow Also the zed brain and the zed intestines were also listed with the kidney art so heres the fix for that too Hope that helps!
  4. Hey hydro, I'm currently working on some bug fixes for the new update, we got some recipes messed up, Danielle and are are working on it now. ill post the scripts as we work on them, Camomile Tea Fix, (mugs i the recipes were mixed up): Dissection Table Fix (would only receive a empty metal barrel on creation):
  5. heres the re-done grenade texture for ya, will post up more as i work on them Powdered Ginseng: Energy Bar Dough: Energy Bar Dough On Tray: UnCooked: Cooked: Burnt:
  6. Well yeah, this mod was made before we had the 'B' button to look up crafting recipes.
  7. I actually never found any of the new books on a shelf. However, by removing the cover from a "Book", it turns into a random book, which can be one of the new ones. So I went to the bookstore and removed the covers from all the "Books". when it comes to updating hydrocraft into a single player game that you've been playing on for awhile you have to leave the area you've been in and go to a completely unloaded new area of the map to find anything 'new' added into the mod. say your in drayton, you might want to walk to westpoint in order to find newly added items or parts of drayton you've never been to before
  8. Thanks! yeah it may be a bit overkill but would be pretty awesome . now when it comes to fuel stability I believe when fuel is stored in 55 gallon drums all the air is pumped out and is vacuumed sealed meaning its good for i think like 5 to 10 years? this is all things I've heard about from my dad and grandfather, I'm not sure 100% on it though. now for gas cans i think the fuel is good for 6 months but with a stabilizer it can last well over year or so, just just depends on the stabilizer to fuel ratio. now for the underground gas station tanks I'm really not sure how long it lasts down there, we always need refills like every 2 weeks or more, just depended on business.
  9. DING DING DING we have a WINRAR! haha in all seriousness though I see people talking about using solar cells, and the solar cells in calculators...really lmao that's a bit silly , one thing that could be done about solar panels is that on some street signs there are actually pretty decent sized panels powering them, (not sure if they were around like that in the 90's but meh work with me here lol) and maybe the 'best' place I've seen panels that are about 3 by 5 feet in size are by the railroad tracks actually! they power the wheel greasers for passing trails and i believe there is 1 set of wheel greasers every 2 to 5 miles of track (just from what I've seen on the tracks in Maryland, id walk up and down them as a teenager with my friends for miles and miles, I'm no train expert ) So thats just something to think of on the whole solar panel thing. Now for generators, there not a great idea in a zombie apocalypse anyways and I think they have done a great job with them in game, there loud and attract zombies, you gotta fill them very frequently, and the only reason you'd even use them is for lights and the fridge/oven that's about it. as for using a generator to power a gas station to pump gas you gotta remember, you need to have the register working too, or have a working debit card thats you have the pin to or a credit card thats yours or that you know the persons zip code, so thats quite a pain in the ass really, BUT!!! this opens a new idea! a new job could be added during the character creation section. A gas station worker, I worked at a gas station as an assistant manager for like 4 years and had to get my C-class pump operators cert while working there and I knew how to power the pumps back on using the control panel in the back and this ist just a tiny little computer, its like 6 feet tall and 5 feet wide and has tons of little lcd screens and buttons, you get the idea, but if the job was added in you character would know how to use it, and you could essentially hook a generator up to the station and re power the pumps on and set it to a "free pump" mode so you can pump as much as you need, till the underground tanks ran out which is (if i remember correctly) was like 55,000 gallons lmao, and theres a printer that can tell you how much is left in each holding tank for each type of fuel, something the gas station worker would know how to use and where is located/what it looks like. wellp hope you guys like the idea, id like to here your feedback as always, haha I have like 1000's of ideas for the game and and what I really like about TIS is that you guys actually listen to us, unlike a lot of game devs, so thanks! and thanks for filling my head with all these damn ideas haha, i feel like my brains gonna pop sometimes
  10. Excellent ideas guys, This also reminded me of those backpacks with the folding chairs built into them, silly idea imo, but would work nice in game I suppose. One thing that could be done with the "comfortable rating" stated above is that maybe it could be set up as each kind of furniture (used to sit, sleep, rest) would have a comfort level from 1 to 10 wooden chairs would rate a 2, office chair a 3 or 4, plush leather couches a solid 7 or 8 (i love those things except in the summer lol) ect. but! here's the kicker the more often your player sleeps in uncomfortable places maybe this could be a way to add in De-buffs or temporary negative traits such as the following, lets say, from sleeping on the floor for over 2 or 3 nights, 'Stiff Back~ slower running speed, climbing ropes, hoping fences ect.' Or could have your character suffer from a temp negative trait like the restless sleeper trait during your sleeping on the floor (which the floor would have a comfort rating of 0 or a 1 if your hopefully on carpet lol) let me know if you guys like the idea and what kind of ratings/temp traits would you all want to see?
  11. YES! I'm actually surprised this hasn't been added in already to be honest haha
  12. loving it man! btw just a little thing for ya, but id erase the dashed lines on the gas station pump pull ups and in front of the store itself, I've never seen any like that myself, but I've only been on the eastern side of the us my whole life so idk haha but as always keep up the mapping man, and when creative slowly poops its way out, lets create a map together man! i want to make all of my home town of carroll county MD, like the WHOLE county haha i think I could do it, but i deff need help, and I can tell you have an eye for building detail like myself
  13. Keep it up! This is looking fantastic man
  14. No update today. I am taking a break for the holidays. haha no problem man, you deserve it! have a great holiday
  15. I'm quite excited for 5.0 today! Cant believe you dont 50 updates to the mod man, thats quite an achievement and just look how much its evolved! from a simple items mod to the #1 mod for project zomboid, as my signature says, PZ is never the same without it Great work Hydro, and to all of us who's helped him and each other with this fantastic mod!
  16. I have an axe out in my garage, if i were to swing it at full force i would probably break my spine, axes are far from light, the moment I picked it up i though, damn this really wouldn't be a great zombie fighting weapon unless you were pretty beefy, which I am not haha.
  17. dude yessss this looks awesome! if I knew how to use tilezed id deff help you out, im dying for creative mode though cause i want to make my own huge maps haha,
  18. excellent idea! although maybe it should be 6 points instead to go along with the first sets of Strong and Fit (I cant remember there names exactly, but i know there both 6 points lol)
  19. Awesome! before build 33.9 popped out last night I used the prison as my base haha, worked quite well
  20. hmm, your giving me an idea to add into hydrocraft haha I like it though!
  21. Wait...zeds cant just spawn next to your base,a tile need to be unseen for X amount of time till they can spawn, so if you're just chilling in your base they wont just spawn out there, they would have had to have migrated there. personally I think this system works completely fine, sure tweaks and advancements would be great, but in regards to zombies just spawning in areas clear out that doesn't surprise me in the least because of how migration works in general (how they go to more least populated areas of the map to search for food aka YOU). Though, I feel like all these problems your having can be fixed with sandbox options by setting longer migration hours/spawn hours. And just as everyone else has been saying, making a huge horde at the corner of the map and have it travel through the ENTIRE map would take up an large amount of CPU power to do. For example, think of how laggy the mall can be, now image the mall constantly moving across the whole map. Anyways In my personal opinion, the re-spawn settings are very nicely done, and if people don't like how they work, use sandbox options.
  22. Yup! i'm having the same issue, I do have thumping zeds on false, however they do sometimes still thump on windows and doors due to meta events but meh, i'm not too worried about that so much. But I wanted to say thank you guys for adding in the option for thumpin zeds, I don't know if you all have noticed this the way I have, but with thumping set to false, you guys have created a HUGE since of fear when I play now haha. Just sitting in my safe house, and all I hear is moans outside, movement in the trees, its actually frighting because one slip up of running, opening a door, taking something off my shelves/crates could trigger one of them to finding me. and because all my blinds are closed I cannot see where they exactly are or exactly how many are around me. its absolutely amazing!!! I love it!!! I find it more realistic now because how would a zombie know I'm inside this house when I'm not making any sounds or looking through my windows ect. but anyways thanks guys for making seriously the best zombie game I've ever played
  23. So ive found a pretty poopy bug, I usually set my sandbox setting for alarms to extremely rare and so i proceed to start looting some buildings on a fresh character and 9 out of 10 buildings had an alarm on it, at first I thought it was bad luck (even though i have lucky on my character haha) but then i changed my sandbox setting for the alarms to 'never", started new, first house i got to, opened the window and a alarm went off lol. Has anyone else been having this issue? one other thing is while outside running the rain started up except i couldn't hear the raining sound, so far thats it, Ill look for more while i'm at it, if i don't die from alarms first :I I hate them sooo much lol
