  2. The should just add a 3th or a 4th mode depanding how you look at it. - First Bite (the easiest setting) - Custom (You know... custom) - Survival (the true game mode) - Survival Light (Same as survival but with less zombies)
  3. Maybe a modification. Instead of hitting you (would be an extremely cheap death) it could hit a house. Start a fire, make alot of noise.

  5. I see your point Rathlord, I didnt look at it that way. If you put it like that then yes an organic ''ending'' is better. So I guess I was wrong about ending an ''arbitrary'' ending. See myself convinced to drop my original point.
  6. Sound indicator: Now this is just a brainstorm but how about a small meter which shows how much noise you make? So you atleast have an indication of how much noise you are making. If this is a no I can understand that. However a small arrow that would point in the direction a meta-game event happens would be handy. I find it very hard to hear in which direction a meta-game happend. Or atleast it causes alot of confussion. It would be nice if you were capable of hearing where the noise came from. Further questions: [n] Military Aid What does this exactly mean? I get it, that it is a no. But does this mean no military in the game you can interact with? Or does this mean that you cant call up on the aid of the military. Which seems pretty logical. Furthermore how about airdrops. I searched the forums and found some posts regarding these but not really an answer if it is being considered or if its a no. An airdrop in my eyes would look like something like this (for the sake of game balance) Shall we say that in the first 2 weeks some planes fly over and drop some supplies. Only at the start. Nothing fancy like machine-guns or grenades but shall we say canned food or some tools. Basic stuff, would add another dimesion to immersion. [n] An ending or any game over other than death Now hear I am going to be a bit technical. Seeing how every single one of us is going to die. Since that is 1 of the 2 certainly of live. (The other is taxes) How about a real long term goal. For example that after a couple of years no more zombies are being spawned since everyone is either dead or a badass survivor. Also that the zombies slowly decompos untill only skeltons remain. Wouldnt it be cool that you ''rebuild'' civilatizion. Note: nothing fancy but I mean that you and other survivors start to band together. And just try to survive and rebuild. A sort of meta-ending shall we say. Like ''Congrats. you basically survived the zombie apocalypse, you and some other surivors will slowly start rebuilding society''. Now for the rest of the game nothing will really change, you can still die but it would atleast let a small fling of hope into the future. Cause to be honest I am kinde getting sick of movies/books/games etc where everyone is just fucked. I mean tragedy is fine but tragedy without hope of something greater is emo fanfiction. Now dont get me wrong Project Zomboid is great and the devopelers should do what they want since its there game but just a little nitpicking of me. Edit: I think I will withdraw mine ''meta-ending'' idea. Rathlord made some good points.
  7. Zombies have 3 attacks I think 1. Punching you, this carries no risk of infection. 2. Scratching you carries around 20% I think. 3. Bit you, this carries a 94% chance of infection. Thought I do not know if Thick Skinned affects these percentages or just makes sure you have a lower chance of getting infected by for example boosting the chance of no getting infected.
  8. I have to agree with some points on your post. I mostly get bitten/scratched by the crawlers. Cause lets be honest I think they kinde bugged. With a baseball bat I can push away or knock down the ''upstanding'' semi-dead of the greater Knox Country. Yet the crawlers move like some kinde of glacier. Cause its seems they dont get stunned long enough when hit. So unless your first hit kills em they keep going.
  9. I dont really see whats wrong with solar panels. Yeah IRL it would require advance tools and knowledge but so this is a videogame so there supposed to be some liberties taken with realisme. Also like it was further said solarpanels have variable power output. So maybe make a solarpanel less a replacement for a generator but more an extra. Example ''Look! Its sunny today, guess I wont have to run the generator today since my panels can handle it''. ''Ah bummer, its raining. Better start up the generator to keep my ice-cream solid.''
  10. Maybe work the professions some more into the game. Shall we say you start as a carpenter so in your toolshed there are some extra planks, nails, hammer and a screwdriver. Police-officer: Start with a pistol and some ammo. Fire-man: Have an axe. And so on for the other professions. Also maybe a different starting house on each proffesion. Divide the jobs into high-, middle- and low-income. High income, bigger house (maybe wall) Middle: normal house Low: trailer park
