From what I gathered what the devs did in 2016 was they did a lot, but their main problem was, they'd start one project (Anims for example) then move onto something else completely ditching the half worked project, which if you figure, doesn't put out a lot of content. But  in 2017 they've chosen something and stuck, kinda turnin' over a new leaf.

All something we are well aware of.
Hindsight is always 20/20 but there are also risks in investing in a sped up development. There any many factors to consider.
    Better safe than sorry.

    A big whole indeed.

I want the devs to continue working on zomboid until they're done, and the things that you seem to feel are so important are far less so to me than they are to you. That doesn't make your opinions invalid, but if you want to play games that are finished, don't buy early access games.

    Hi all,
First time posting. I was wondering if there was a way to change zombie lore during a game? Is there a lua table for this? As an example lets say I wanted to change zombies from fast shamblers to shamblers depending on an event in game, is that possible or is it something that can only be set at the beginning of the game? If there's no global table that effects all zombies in real time then does each zombie have it's own settings table I can potentially loop through and change?

    Hope that made sense.

    Thanks for any responses.

Louisville is part of the requirement for the game to be complete. No one is piling anything on anyone's plate or mentioning forgotten things.

There'll be no DLC for Project Zomboid, though it'll continue to be developed past 1.0 so long as it's viable to do so.

I gotta say I am super pumped to reintroduce some people to this game after anims/cars/blood accumulation/server cleaning drop in. This will address everything my buddies wanted in this game a year ago. They've since dropped out but I can genuinely sustain my hype for years... Thanks for stickin it out Devs!

Answered your own question, there. There's hype because we don't plan to have unresponsive / barely interactive drones randomly traversing your garden

If(mentioned previously && and not mentioned in subsequent Mondoid then state unchanged. In this case that'd mean work to implement rotation and get the rest of Martin's models dependent on rotation integrated, while fixing any bugs or redoing anything that doesn't work.

It's not repeated every week because repetition seems to trigger people.

Aiming to implement a few common model formats instead of forcing people to use conversion scripts .etc. This is on General Arcade's list.

That that just proves that TIS has no control over it, since the first day on GoG people have told us that website didn't work. I even tried it myself.

There is no "per-game" block that The Indie Stone has access to or controls. Valve may act differently, however, and isn't required to support your piracy of their service.

As to derailing the topic, these are comments you made. I'm simply responding to them. Perhaps they should not have been made in the first place if they're considered "off-topic?" Perhaps it would have been wiser to simply ask the mod author to provide an alternative method of distribution rather than engage in falsehoods and assumption?

Well if I were talking about playing in a singleplayer game, I'd grind until I had the capability to move the bed without any hassle -- that's never a problem. However, in the case I'm referring to, I was playing on RP server with skill gains set to a minimum.

And I disagree, I've moved mattresses and bed-frames of all shapes and sizes and I've never once damaged them more than just a scuff. They're usually quite sturdy and if the frame is metal, 9/10 you don't even need tools to take it apart. At any rate, even if you were extremely clumsy, it'd be next to impossible to destroy a mattress by dropping it.

This needs to happen. I tried to move 3 beds and one couch, with 2 in carpentry and each of them was destroyed. I'm pissed lol

    I 100% agree with this.
Same goes for a stove all you need to do is unplug it.

Realistically, moving a mattress isn't as involved as the game makes it seem. It's easier to build a log wall then move a bed.  That makes no sense. Sure taking apart a bed frame is kind of annoying, but anybody with a screwdriver can do it.  Same goes with bookshelves, tables, dressers, etc.  It makes little sense and for me at least, takes the immersion away from the game.

Same goes for moving crates, that's something that doesn't necessarily needs to be taken apart before you move it. It can be pushed/pulled or lifted -- if anything that would require a certain amount of strength and nothing else.

So I think removing any carpentry skill requirements from certain furniture would be beneficial.

This Zomboid stuff really is a side project on my plate, Ive spent a good portion of last week just working on my writing skills for my portfolio. But I do find some pleasure in making these buildings, It was nice to receive a small Nod from the Devs so I got on the builder and whipped up some small stuff for my sato map and the community. No Apartments here as my current building projects are my old Highschool and An Arena made from an apartment block and they are verylarges buildings which soak up time.

I made some small row shops and a dumpster section for the alley, feel free to stick graffiti as you like on the small dumpster section.

In the end of it a bulldozer might not be a good ways of transportation but it would be an efficient enough plowing machine, since zombies dont tend to move very fast and all you need to do is plow them out of the way, possibly crush a couple but It wouldn't be an efficient killer. But possibly something like just used to clear a path out of a horde or to cripple a bunch of zombie legs.

It's also meant to be a somewhat realistic game. There's a balance between gameplay vs realism. These are notions the developers have already stated they had, take the post above mine as a good example.

Bulldozers are generally transported on the back of transport trucks and should never be driven on civillian roads in part due to what those wide tracks may do to the road.

The closest thing I know of is a JD 764 High speed dozer which tops out at 17-18 for transportation (and is also not the same thing).

Your average bulldozer won't go over 10 mph (which is generous enough) and the likelihood of the devs including a lightning mcqueen version are low.

A bulldozer would be cool though.

You mean like with the smoker trait where you get anxious if you don't smoke, so it's technically already in the game.
