Speaking as someone with a lot of friends who have kids at Minecraft age, I'm not so sure about this. It's a foundation of childhood now - electronic Lego - and isn't even close to maxxing out on infants who grow into it every day. When you refuse to take into account the fact that Microsoft has an extraordinary talent in fucking things up through rigid corporate thinking, it's an investment that'll pay off.

Mufti is so unique that a lot of the British population is unaware of it too. Bit of a posh school thing really.

It would make NPC dialogue FAR easier though. Worth considering.

Hmm. Should zeds be attracted by a dog barking though? What's their interest in it? I can understand them moving due to super-loud human noises like helicopters and gunshots but is a dog bark enough? Just putting it out there.

I find it really sad, because they were always our Desura and Greenlight buddies to an extent. Don't want to get into the particulars of it all, and I don't really know them from Adam, but it's horrible to see it end up this way.

I think Mash is onto something with her ' broken robot island' idea tbh. Gives it a really strong sense of location, can tie it into the story etc

I think that the more we, as developers, learn by experimenting with systems like this - the more we'll be able to transpose over to our NPC work too.
