yep the mod has been outdated for a long time now

I found a nasty bug. When I select to start with erosion (no matter what percent I choose, I tried 50, 65, and 100%) ALL the food in game is rotten, including imperishables(chips, cupcakes, etc), including canned foods: when I open canned food, it's just all rotten.

took me a while to understand that this mod blocks new sandbox options. So it's officially outdated I guess. Which is sad cause it makes zomboid so much better

This is THE mod for singleplayer. Actually brings some "endgame content" to pz. The mod is still up-to-date, although the gift box spawns as "spiffo" with the spiffo icon. Can anyone fix this? I wasn't able to figure out how to do it =( PS. Also It seems to me this mod lowers the spawn rate of spiffo aka giftbox. I was able to find only one after having looted half of Westpoint.

It's common sense to not turn on pvp until you are gonna shoot. In this game killing a man takes maybe 2 seconds, so when you see the skull it's a red signal. Somebody turns on pvp - you kill him before he kills you. Understand?

I've been playing quite a bit of mp recently on a russian RP server (rp feels freaking godlike for zomboid, if you ask) and I've faced some issues that are real annoying and at the same time easy to fix: 1) an option to pack up cigarettes, same as bullets and nails. They take really long to unpack and move between containers as of now. Real ez to add, like 20 lines in recipes.txt? Btw, there's a weird bug, when it says "eat" instead of "smoke" on a cigarette. 2) remove, or nerf the unhappiness modifier from cigarettes. My rp character smokes from time to time and is in like permadepression because of that. 5 cigarettes a day leading to suicidal thoughts? Kinda unrealistic, is it? Again, extremely easy to fix 3) see if a gun is loaded and make an option to unload it. It's very annoying and unnatural the way it is now. If I want 15 bullets from that dead guy's pistol, I have to keep the pistol (which weighs 2, a bit too much for 15 bullets). Unloading weapons should be a piece of cake to add for monster coders like RJ. 4) a way to leave notes? Again, very uncomfortable as of now. I use spare bags (rename them) to leave notes and RP messages. Pen or pencil + a piece of paper? Isn't very complicated to add, is it? 5) extend the evolved recipes lists. I'm a cook IRL and I constantly feel weird about cooking in Zomboid. Why can't I add ketchup to my roasted vegetables? Why can't I add pickles anywhere but to a sandwich? Etc! Again, items.txt stuff. I think there should be a warning on bleach, because there are warnings on stuff like bleach in real life. See, it's there for a reason -
theres already a working system implemented. It just hasn't been explained. Need RJ or someone whos familiar with it to enlighten us, puny mortals

That's what I'm talking about. Being an outcast, mental issues, depression, the "shocking factor" that someone mentioned above. It all adds to the atmosphere of the apocalypse. Cannibalism is great

It's from your readme.txt. I have typed by mistake simple soup - its not simple soup but tasty soup. Coma isn't there EDIT: In the file bouillon.txt - tasty soup recipe - there's dot on the end of the 2nd ing. string. Thanks, I didn't notice the typo in recipes.txt at first. All fixed now and updated

Well, the question is what would be realistic in zombie apocalypse and what would be not (assuming we can't know that for sure until it actually comes) I support excentricreation's point of view that zombie apocalypse would be merciless towards the "good guys" that would still be obeying common taboos and morality. Therefore, cannibalism would be common. an idea to think about: On the other hand, I agree with roker on the point that cannibalism wouldn't bring A LOT to this game. Especially because a cannibalism mod can be made fairly easily

Well, walking dead is pretty realistic I should say, although a bit fairytale-ish at times. Another point is nobody can tell for sure how a human being would behave in zombie apocalypse.

Well, such topics grow boring because they hit the wall of perceptual callousness (is that the right word?) of some people pretty soon. Such people don't understand atmosphere and don't feel atmosphere. But arguing and denying they can do. Nothing personal here, though The point remains cannibalism adds a lot to the atmosphere of post-apocalypse and that's why it is to be considered.
