  1. Hi TCO, im liking the map a bit, im currently playing on a world map that has ALL the community maps. I was wondering if you know where Louissiana map is on the worldmap ? I am using this mod http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=655062253 All In Zomboid Map Pack. also, ive completely searched the big prison and the police station. they have no guns. they seem to use pencils and pens a lot ^^ ! thx for the map !

Reading is an important first step but does not replace critical thinking skills. *sigh* i'm talkin' 'bout I wonder what is going on with Pridelost...

Okay ! ,,,, any "early access" soon ?edit: my friend and I don't mind falling every two minutes we're used to it now Most of the buildings are stable we know you won't fall through the roofs but maybe not walk back downstairs. We are reworking on the staircases in all of our buildings. We have already over 1gb of data in this project but we are maintaining in the shadows. Soon pretty soon we might release a beta, just a matter of time me and Atox get the tools synchronized. Alrighty ! can't wait ! that helicopter sprite really is immersed in the landscape which makes it look like it was always part of the game ! cool
  5. OMG stop fighting, start loving as I said on the Steam Discussion, this IN MY OPINION, is where credit is due... Now there I can't believe how people can fight over pixels trying to say who is who and better, or not, and how the community backlashes, and wonders afterwards why the developers respond in a raw-like manner, well don't backlash and negate them. ain't it simple ?   8. After conducting a few tests I've discovered how to loose your NPC without killing her.... all tests are conducted without any mods activated except the NPC Companionship Testing Mod.. also down below is the console of everything that happened in the video I hope this helps you out !

I've checked that, however, the zombies don't seem to use 'line of sight', or not in any way I could find it :S My speculation is that zombies have a global manager that is responsible for doing their LOS, however, the zombie object itself doesn't control this. I wish it was that easy The NPC's do have a LOSUpdate tick going, but it doesn't seem to store any values to the npc. I know it does 'something', but it's... difficult to crack and see what it is exactly that it does, or what goes wrong. :/ I've noticed that the developers have left some of the old NPC's files/speak files/the katy quest files, in the game files..... did you find any of the old NPC's targeting system or just the way they acted in files?....
  10. Slow, nearly everything there is to NPC's is undocumented, or hard coded in java. The main problem I'm facing atm is possibly needing to write my own "Line of Sight" code, because for some reason they are blind atm, and can't see zombies, likewise are the zombies completely ignoring them. At least I can get the npc's to attack them by forcing them to attack the Z's... But I would've liked it if they could detect them by themselves. :/ That's the best way to look at it indeed ^__^ They'll get more advanced each time I crack a piece of the internal systems by continuesly lobbing different syntaxes at it untill something does something But they'll be semi-braindead untill I unlock the right parts, or code those parts myself. okay... i'm not your programming geek... although i was wondering if you could perhaps check how the zombies "line of sight" works on the actual player.... and check out how the zombies coding works for attacking a player it sees.... etc... perhaps you could actually USE that coding within the NPC's coding, BUT switch the TARGET from the PLAYER to the ZOMBIES ???...... downloaded.... testing in 5...4...3...2...1..........................

What mods do you have on? just this mod or are there any other on aswell? The game pad uses a different system than mouse targeting it seems! I'll take a look at it, this would mean the NPC mod and the Electric Lamp Poles should have the same issues. Thank you soo much for this footage! You have no idea how much easier that makes my job on fixing it, and understanding the problem! Seriously, thank you!! Edit: Oh! If possible, can you send me your C:/Users/<your windows username>/Zomboid/console.txt after trying a bit of the moving them around? ^__^ And again, thank you for the feedback on this bug so far <3 Edit 2: So far I found out one of the problems was that game pads can't pick up fridges, the other objects it has no problems with as long as you're close to them. Hydrocraft Trait Reactivator Let Me Speak Open Cans With Knives or Fork More Zombie Loot Movable Working Furniture Phoenix Map (only activated when needed) Cheat Menu (activated if: so i can heal if glitch/bug bit/dead, not if i'm bit/dead in a legit way, or run up a staircase to fall on the other side because map creator forgot the flooring )hmmm... ill video log any other bugs when i play... one, maybe, bug is if you place the fridge/or stove outside or inside windows the zedz just walk right through em same for if you place fridge/stove at the top of the stairs.. but not if you place them at the bottom of stairs, or in/out of doors.. .i like being able to use them as unbreakable barricades ! makes the game a lot more realistic. thanks! edit: my friend figured the ultimate zombie barricade.... place them in your pockets when they come at you mwuahahah

  19. Yes! XD Something to just make life a little more livable in PZ, not sure about stationary, but if that's the only way, it's what it has to be since there are no npc's :c, but It is doable?! YES!! And I agree, If you can do this, that'd be AMAZING! xD!! I'll first finish the portable fridges, then first do some tests with making my own npc's (or well, companions), and if the tests are unsuccesfull, it'll be a stationary object. So no promises for making it anything but a stationary object. But I will give it a try <3 Yay I love you! Good luck! Gonna do some tests today ^__^ I'll let you know what comes out! Sooo... First tests are VERY promising and sucessful! Now, my plan is to make a companion NPC that does basic things, but generally just follows you around. The companion will need feeding, sleeping, etc. I don't know how far I can push this, but I don't see any limits so far. If you have any questions, by any means, ask them And yes... I am a wizard!
