When you always carry around an apple because you might get peckish

- When all your dreams are of organizing loot in crates.

You know you play to much Zomboid when your friend asks you to pass the hammer so you throw it on the ground.

You know you play too much Zomboid when you literally stand 2 and a half hours near the oven, watching your food cook, just in case it decides to start burning.

You know you play too much PZ when......you realize you have spent more time in the game than you have at work so far this year
 
You know you play too much PZ when.....you find yourself at the hardware "test swinging" the axes
 
You know you play too much PZ when.....at the sporting goods store you ask the salesman which is better for crushing a skull, the metal or wood bat

...Hear a helicopter or plane in reality, and you think about how you have to exit the game to get it to end.

You know you play too much PZ when you sleep with a baseball bat and a backpack on in bed.
