  1. They could simply reduce the amount of food you get from other sources so you get the same total amount of food, just have to get some of it via a new method. And I work close to 60 hours a week I barely have time to play, def don't have time to scour dev forums for hours on top of that.
  2. I'd be up for introducing glass making since I want to be able to can food but right now the drop rate is so low it's not at all practical. While some people think it would be overpowered if canning was easy, I'd be up for requiring a canning machine that you would have to collect rare parts for or you needed a high level skill to complete.
  3. Conceptually I'm ok with there being a chance of infection from any wound, the problem is the combat is a bit too glitchy to enforce that heavy a penalty. It's impossible in any video game to give you the level of control over a character you would have in real life (no game to date is capable of allowing you to independently control each limb simultaneously, which significantly reduces your combat effectiveness compared to real life). For that reason, you have to curb the damage penalty and project zomboid combat is even a bit "wonky" and limited compared to other games. Not to mention the fact that most people can't use guns because they are so useless at lower level while still aggroing every zombie around and they are so rare that you usually can't find enough ammo to level up to where guns are useful before you die.
  4. Would like to see animals or more ponds added into the game because right now the only reliable way to find meat in the game is when it respawns in fridges or the few ponds there are in the game. Yes you can trap but as most of you would agree the % change to succeed at trapping is so low few bother to do it and those that do don't get very good returns. You can get enough food from farming so it's not like it's broken or anything, but I feel like it would expand the game and give you something new to do if you could even just hunt animals (or maybe even breed them).
  5. If they ever allow you to dig underground structures, partially/fully underground greenhouses with glass roofs would also work in winter as the ground is much warmer than the air.
  6. Yea it's pretty sweet it's actually technically aquaponics (aquaculture would be farming fish). The plants also clean the water. There is actually a greenhouse by us that has an aquarium sized setup.
  7. This would be real cool. Surprisingly enough, someone at our fraternity in college actually lit his room on fire with a candle yet it is far too easy in the game to kill yourself/burn your safehouse down with fire. They ought to change it so that you get 1st, 2nd, 3rd degree burns for the first few seconds and only then light yourself on fire; humans don't instantly go up like a gasoline soaked bonfire. Wood stove would be a sweet option.
