Looking at the big changelist, everything looks golden except one particular thing...

Won't this basically make the Fanny Pack completely useless? The FP already weights 1 lb while equipped (which is kinda dumb on its own), but at least it was a nice separate container to have some smaller items like meds and bandages for faster access. However, if its capacity got reduced to 1, (and unless its weight was also reduced) it'd be downright negative to even use it.

Did the weight also get tweaked?

TBH, this all looks good to me. We've all seen what happens even when good game companies make the Big-MistAAAke of rushing things out to please their players, fans or soulless investors, so I actually see the decision you guys are making as 100% good. In the same way, if after those six months (I'm still shocked you actually GAVE AN ETA... what's next? GabeN counting to 3?), you guys feel it's still not enough, don't be afraid to delay it further. Always do as Shigeru Miyamoto said, not as Todd Howard does....

Also, not being one who cares much about the MP, I am quite pleased to hear that the stuff I DO care about (Noiseworks, Curves, Louiseville) is actually getting pushed forward before the MP. So that's a big plus to me.

On those undriveable cars- Will we also be able to tow them away, or remove whatever good parts they may still have left?

As a dude who's worked on Junkyards before, I can tell you that even the most wrecked of cars still has plenty of useful parts you can pull out. Also, even if I can't do that, I'd like to be able to remove them from, say, a road I'll be driving on often. Will we be able to?

    35. Make it possible to have power on roofs you can actually access via a staircase (like the one of Mul Warehouse).
    36. Make it possible to place Exit Signs on doorframes (currently, if you remove one from its doorframe, you can't place it back)
    37. Make it possible to open/close shutters and garage doors (More suggestions on this idea HERE)
    38. Give us more paintable signs (More suggestions on this idea HERE)
    39. Make Soda Vending Machines capable of cooling.

As someone who's been around the PZ Steam forums before, I honestly think it ain't worth it.

The Steam Discussion has become what can be best described as a "Sprawl for the Banned"; every time someone comes here screaming "REEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! NPCS REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! MULTIPLAYER REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! GIMME GIMME FULL GAEM NAO!!! I PAID U MONEIS!!" and it gets banned from this forum, they go to Steam Forums with a "Oh! The PZ Devs are evil fascists! I was just asking questions and they banned me for not agreeing with them. Don't go there, and don't play this game. The Devs have turned it into a cult, and only those who praise everything they do and don't point out their bad decisions get to stay." sob story, often including edited screencaps of their posts to make them look innocent.

This is pretty much the same for every game that's been long in Early Access, even big name titles like Hades and Factorio got that kind of people whenever the devs banned someone from their own forums; I'm sure that's what nasKo meant by "The feedback wasn't worth it.", and I honestly can see why.

So I say, let them be. Just release big updates once there's plenty of stuff that can bedazzle them into not saying anything.

Hmm.... still, as much as I love the addition, part of me feels that Zombies just dropping down and crawling under the cars feels a bit.... un-zombie-like; climbing over them seems more feasible. But oh well, I guess it'll be just a matter of waiting until players can climb over cars, and maybe then the same thing will be added for Zeds.

You know, after having a long SoD2 binge and coming back, I can say this game would be a lot more fun if we had the ability to climb over cars, low roofs, boxes and the like. Would certainly give an extra dimension to maneuver, and avoid zeds.

And sure, you may say "But unless we give zeds the ability to follow you there, it's gonna be too much of advantage to the survivors.", to which I would reply, "Not really". Sure, you can climb on top of a stepvan or roof, but that's not gonna make the horde below turn around and leave. On the contrary, they'll surround you, and since you can't melee them from the roof, you'll have to shot them, which requires a gun and/or you may not have at the time, and even if you have the gun, it's gonna draw EVEN MORE ZED to where you are.

So, no. I don't think it'd be OP; it would actually be quite a welcome addition to the game's mechanics.

Y'know, since you guys are adding lots of "Cool but small" new features while the MP Turkey is done cooking, would it be possible to add more SIgns to paint? Just want to have more options (and maybe an option to paint it higher in the wall, so it can be visible if you place a box in front of it) than just the skull and the arrows. Don't think that'll be too hard compared to bigger dishes like the new Fitness system, or the new Trailers.

Since ya folks are adding neat yet smaller features, can we get a way to repair the trailers? They're basically a big trunk on wheels, so we should be able to repair their bodies like we do with normal trunks. And also, maybe a way to turn billboard trailers into something useful; maybe we can dismantle the billboard for plenty of metal sheets, and somehow make the trailer into something that can hold items.

Blake81 got a reaction from TrailerParkThor in Using Metalwork to repair a trailer's "Bodywork"
So, since trailers aren't quite spawning yet in the normal way (they only spawn as Vehicle Stories), you find most of them with very low condition (I've found 5, all of them below 20% on all parts). You can replace the tires and suspension OK, but the trailer's body itself (under Bodyworks) cannot be repaired or interacted with in any way.

So, any chance we can repair it? Since the trailer is basically one big trunk on wheels, we should be able to repair its body just like we repair trunks; with a bit of Metalwork.

Yeah a good few of us are British including 3/4 of the directors, so we were aware of this it's set in the US so US colloquialisms rule and it is just extra funny to be called a fanny pack anyway, it seems a rather tame thing in a brutal dark zombie apocalypse to worry about tbh. We've resisted renaming pop to soda still I guess though we'll get to it!
