    I think it mostly depends if the zombie decides to become a crawler or not, thats the current risk with stomping I think. However stomping does stun them if theyre not a crawler.
  2. Actually I had an idea similar to that... now that Ive been working on my carpentry I wonder if I build a book case or something in front of a door if it will actually block zombies.

  4. I thought it was weird too that I couldnt specify bites only. Granted I havent seen any different animations between bites or anything else... havent really figured out when I get bitten or scratched, I guess its an RNG injury. Would be nice if there was some settings that could raise or lower the chance from bites [or scratches I guess] that we could use. If they sepperated it like that you could have bites having 100% chance and scratches having 0% if you desired without having to specify bite+scratches or bites only, scratches only, etc. Could always just use high, medium and low as well.
  5. Hmm I didnt see any mention of it in the suggested ideas thread before I posted it... mustnt have been suggested anytime recently. Sure maybe they just didnt forget? Anyway it is good to hear that at least.

  7. I think it would be very helpful to have an ingame map item. Wouldn't need to be super detailed, but maybe if you click "read" on the map your screen is changed with a big map that blocks everything else. Maybe you can zoom in and out a little bit. Having a "you are here" sort of arrow would be nice too. I know Coder was nice enough to make an external and highly detailed map but an ingame map would be nice too, even if it was simpler it would get the job done. I remember getting so lost the first time I was playing the game, before I found the external map website, and I remember thinking to myself "Wait, if I live here why would I be so completely lost and not know where anything is at?"
  8. I dunno if anyone has noticed before, but I cant seem to drop one or half of an item... along with other things. At first I'd pick up some clothes from a zombie to rip them into bandages later, so there Im am ripping pants and it rips all of the pants... EVEN THE ONES IM WEARING! So now Im standing there like a weirdo in my underpants. Sure Ive learned since then to just rip the clothes while the zombie is still wearing it instead of picking them up, but still... could at least not rip the clothes in the stack that Im wearing right? Other situations, I try to drop something on the floor I have multiples of, say a bat or some food etc, and I drop all of them on the floor. Say I want to put up something, I gotta put up all of them and take back one for myself. While I can walk away from an object to stop putting things in it I cant do the same when dropping items on the floor, and I just end up walking all over the place dropping items everywhere behind me. Would be really helpful sometimes if I could specifically only drop a certain amount, or that I dont drop the item I have equipped. At least I can rename my bags so it doesnt stack with other bags~ Also while Im on the subject, I wish I could pick up more than one of something but less than half... say cigarettes or nails for example~ Why cant I pick up 1/4 like I can eat 1/4 of something? Or an option to pick up 5 or 10 at a time... now that I think about it, Also it annoys me that I have to put up each nail individually, why does it take so long to put away nails? >.> Anyway Im getting off track

  10. cant count the many times when I cant access an area because a chair or shelf is blocking me... would be cool if we could move it. Didnt know its been suggested already but cant wait till it happens. I guess it could work like moving corpses, and when you put it down it lets you rotate it how ya want.
  11. Wouldnt mind seeing more hand made things either, say for instance bow and arrows. Could make arrow heads out of bones or stones, arrow shafts from twigs and sticks, and of course the bow itself from say a sturdy stick or a plank maybe and some rope of some kind. Would be cool to go all survival man and live completely off the land, while having to avoid or kill zombies.

  13. would be cool if corpses and stuff dissapeared after awhile. Could even be a server setting about how long it takes them to degrade or dissapear. Cuz dont get me wrong, i like walking around and seeing all the carnage Ive created. But after some point youd think the rain would wash the blood away and the animals would drag the corpses off into the woods. Maybe this isnt the same for zombies that died indoors, but nothing stopping you from dragging corpses out of buildings.
  14. Actually I had a similar idea Or those cap with the to cans and straw... Yea, the ability to mod a hat with a cup holster and a straw so you can automatically drink whatever you put in it Like the beer hats. That would be pretty kentucky-ish too wouldnt it?
  15. I always like optional settings *nods* I think thats in the spirit of the game too, since it is fully modable already.

  17. Ive yet to do farming yet~ I would have been surprised though if my plants just died for no reason after I didnt pick them if there was no reason that the plants would die. In fact I would suspect that should instead be a good way to store unneeded food, just dont pick it until you need it and it would stay fresh longer. That would be the more realistic way to do it anyway.
  18. Tainted water is in build 31, which is on the IWBUMS branch right now. It may not be completely implemented yet. Right now, rainwater and standing water (like river water) are both tainted, and the only way to make them potable is by boiling. There's been talk elsewhere on the forum of disinfecting them by adding some bleach, but I don't know if the devs are considering that suggestion or not. Wait... why would rainwater be tainted? You dont get tainted water from collecting rain water in the collection barrels do you? It isnt like kentucky is super polluted and full of smog or anything is it? So Im having a hard time wrapping my head around it. usually rainwater is already naturally filtered so...
  19. Would be easy to use some RNG that windows and doors etc might spawn in as destroyed, and if it was random itd be different every time. Would be easier than scripting all new zombie behavior. As long as we could still open broken windows so we dont have to hurt ourselves to get in I'd be okay with it Seems like a solid idea though.
  20. thats odd, well it didnt "say" I had glass in my wound, I think. I guess I didnt have tweezers on me though so it might not have popped up. How do you know if you have glass in your wound?
  21. Still the main point is I think if people getting clawed at and beaten etc lowers health, then bandaging, medicine and such should be able to give a little back. My last guy died by climbing through a broken window that was locked from the outside of a second story building that couldnt be opened [made a post about that already] and he got a cut on his groin that continued hurting my health even after I bandaged it... must have been some cut, oww >.> Of course I didnt even realize I was hurt until the little broken bone moodlet showed up saying I had an injury, and that was only after it had been bleeding and I lost a good chunk of health already. The only thing I could do was bandage it and eat some chips I had on me, but the well fed didnt last long at all and since nothing I could do actually recovered any health I died. I was carrying a first aid kit at the time and I tried disinfecting it, wrapping it, unwrapping and trying adhessive bandages, medicine, The only thing I havent figured out yet is stiching wounds if thats possible... still nothing I could do would prevent the health loss and nothing I did gave me any health back, i ended up dying across the street of my safe house, didnt have quite enough time to get back to my fridge... which I guess woulda saved my life? >.> Hows that realistic exactly? >.>;;
  22. Of course, I wouldnt be enjoying this game so much if I could beat it in a weekend and be done... imo too many games are like that are nowadays.
  23. I dont know maybe it depends on what you set the game time to [like how many hours makes a day, I put it to 2.] and maybe how fast stats degrade, I tried putting it to slow. And even with it set to that my well fed turns into fed in what seems like... maybe 10-20 seconds... I havent timed it but it definitely isnt a minute.
  24. Well I just noticed there was an update for me, so maybe they addressed the bandages dirtying super fast in this update.. I'll reply as soon as I get injured again. Also, admittedly I wasnt playing last year, I just bought it a few days ago during the sale and have been playing non stop since the weekend.
