  1. That sounds like a really cool idea, but honestly... I have not noticed what heppens when your hearing is reduced in game, do you loose track of zombies behind you? Or, does the moaning zombie sound that alerts you to their prescence get quieter? EDIT: Also, .22 will still cause your ears to ring if you shoot enough (speaking from experience). Oooohhhhhhkay, so, First, great way of starting off your message in an inflamatory way that is nearly guaranteed to make my initial dispostion toward you fairly adverse... not a smart way to start things off when you want to ask questions or suggest changes... just saying. Second, have you played my mod? I coded the distributions so that if you find a gun in a container or on a person, any ammo you find in the same container/person is of the corresponding caliber. The only exception to that rule is when you only find ammo in a container with no gun. Third, ammo production, I certainly won't be implementing anything like that and here is why: To manufacture ammo (reloading) you need to have a reloading bench, empty brass, wads, bullets and gun powder. That is just the material requirements, you also need the knowhow on how much power (grains of powder) to put in a particular case so that it fires and does not blow up in your face. The second of those two things would not be redily available to a layman who happens upon a reloading bench during the zombie apocalypse. Fourth, even if there were a ammunition manufacturing plant nearby, that odds you could operate it correctly by yourself is laughable. Not to mention the manufacturing noise would attract zombies from all around and you would probably just end up blowing yourself up. Fifth, if you don't like these mods, why do you download them? Sixth, if you are having such a problem finding the correct ammunition, then cheat! Otherwise, learn how to ration what ammo you have better. If I have 50 rounds of 9mm and 400 rounds of .40, but I only have a Glock 17, I'm not gonna og crazy shooting wildly at zombies with my low amount of ammo. I dont' want to come off as being mean here, but you did get me a bit exasperated. Sorry about that, i just discovered the mod, and i assumed it to be like the others, after seeing the massive amount of guns. It would just be awesome if we could have a gun mod where we can have renewable weapons, while keeping a slight semblance of the conservation of mass. and i have no clue how to cheat.

Simply put, i would enjoy it if the game's story mode had multiple endings, and you give us one, ONE, super hard to obtain good ending, where, i don't know, kate and baldspot miraculously escape the quarantine zone? I have no clue how. Maybe it involves having to befreind every survivor you meet, and then having to lure a massive zombie hoard (In the thousands) to the border so the military gets on edge and focuses on stopping them from getting through the fence. Meanwhile, while the military is distracted, you, kate, and your squad cut through the fence, perhaps donning gear from dead soldiers inside the zone, and get out. Maybe you get shot at, but the bulletproof armor narrowly saves you. I know, i know, the whole "THIS IS HOW YOU F*ING MOTHERF*ER" thing, but give baldspot and kate at least one good thing, will yeh? Maybe in a differient ending if you just survive enough, the military cracks down, bombing the cities, and sending troops and tanks to sweep through knox, with flamethrowers and artillery. When they reach your fortification, they burn it, and everyone inside it. And in another, the infection has a chance of breaking out, and they drop an hydrogen bomb to wipe out knox, and the surrounding fortifications. Remember, this is story mode, not sandbox. It's okay if it has a timeframe/ limit if it's not TOO short. Not every zombie movie/book/game has to have a pitiful ending, or a grand, amazing one. Just refugees escaping and seeking sanctity behind the press and the public is not too uncommon, even in unimaginable situations in real life.
  3. The one thing i hate about these mods is simple. I will always find guns and ammo, but only once in a blue moon, Will i find both a gun, and matching ammo. I will always have hundreds of boxes of ammo, and hundreds of guns, but not a damn one is compatible. Let us craft ammo somehow. Maybe have another modder add a new location- an ammo factory nearby muldraugh. But it is filled with like 500 zombies. because everyone and their mother had the same idea of getting ammo from there. But if you have gasoline, you can use the machines to make any kind of ammo, by the boxes. So, one gas can = 10 boxes.
  4. It works on build 21, except for ONE crippling issue. I can get guns, ammo, and everything. But i tried right clicking the gun, nothing happens. No pop up, nothing. so i currently literally cannot equip it. Do you know about this? Is there a quick fix i can do?

  6. Gau-19 50 caliber minigun, that can be spawned in by pressing 7, along with 7000 bullets for it. Or if that's too hard, 50 caliber sniper rifle with ammo that spawns commonly
  7. Why then is there no border on the map somewhere with patrolling soldiers that shoot you, instead of some invisible wall or something... I don't know, just sounds more logical. Maybe in fact the army should be shooting artillery into knox county, maybe dropping bombs. just because that is not happening RIGHT NOW, that does not mean it won't ever happen. although we do know there will be no Military Aid...which is a rather vague term that is open to interpretation I assume that means they won't help, only hurt our situation. Maybe in a few months helicopters become a real thing and drop down soldiers that shoot anything that moves other than other soldiers.

  10. I'd definitely like to see this as an option in Sandbox, the ability to mix up the zombie speeds a bit, some "idle" types, as well as various speeds, at configurable percentages etc. This should already be in the game
  11. Simply put, i want an intermediate setting between sprinters and fast shamblers. One you can outsprint, but not outwalk. Fast shamblers can be outwalked. Sprinters are Hyper OP unless you make them blind, deaf, and dumb, because when a hoard comes, they instantaneously engulf you. Even if you run into a house, they get right to the door and through before you even have a split second-chance to close it. Anybody up to the task?
  12. This literally sounds like the most simple mod you could make. Add an additional button, add some intermediate values in the Zombiespeed/ Sandbox.lua Files and boom bam bang! How has no modder picked this up? I play with sprinters sometimes. What i do is i try to get guns early on to lure a massive amount of the poopulation into one house that i have walled shut except for 2 doors. Then turn the oven on and burn it to the ground. And i won. Most zombies in that area are now smoking ash. I drop my guns and start using the knife jawstab method.
