  1. Heyo! Do all the items in the mod serve a purpose or function? I noticed there are a ton of extra bathroom supplies for instance, and are our characters now required to floss daily? I mean, I already do of course, in case any dentists are listening in Gonna give it a shot soon for the Corgi alone
  2. Respawns, generators, traps, and mp updates, that's awesome! If generators make a lot of noise how far away can they power since it seems like it would be a bad idea to put them in a safe house if you can avoid it? I assume zombies don't attack the generator
  3. The Professions and Traits list is not accurate unless the problem is on my side. For example the Fire Officer is very boring with +1str/fit/sprint, no axeman (as listed), while the Lumberjack (not listed) has +2bl +1str and axeman. I was using IWBUMS and I turned off beta and restarted steam to get the public update. Also this thread still says IWBUMS so maybe its just the wrong link from steam and we are all thanking in the wrong thread XD
  4. Ages ago back when I was using Desura It's a pretty unique game, and I am a fan of zombies, survival rpgs, and isometric projections.

Of course you are right about just some dirt on concrete, but a more 'advanced' setup with a little more dirt and some boards to hold it together (and prevent rain from washing it away) is very common IRL all over (potential feature request?). In a zombie apocalypse it would only make sense to set it up in a place the zombies can't get to it. Even IRL having a rooftop garden is pretty simple to do. Different crops take different lengths of time to harvest too. Can't have the crops take an entire season to grow, the Devs have to balance between 'realism' and 'fun' when creating gameplay after all

  8. Not a mod, looking for a mod. Searched high and low with no results so far Is there any mod that would let me change how long skill books take to read? In MP its really boring just standing around reading since time doesn't speed up Is this something so absurdly easy to do or am I just a noob that should wait a long time for a book to finish? I like to stream too so its even more boring for people watching haha

  11. Not sure about the specifics of how many plots will last you how long but you might want to farm on top of a building if possible so the zombies don't trample your crops and its safer to take your time farming. You probably already know this but I thought I'd mention it in case you didn't
  12. Exactly, I never take Handy UNLESS I go with Carpentry profession, then I will have carpentry level 4 right out of the bat which is very nice, won't need to grind at all! Because then you can build the small rain barrels, which is more than okay. Think 5-6 pots can be filled in one. Maybe this should be nerfed? Otherwise nobody's gonna go for the big rain barrels when they small one does the job just fine. Maybe if there was another trait/hobby that only gave a point into carpentry and let it cost 4 points and then reduce the other skill hobbies to 4 points? This is definitely true, a cheaper trait that gives 1 carpentry point would be great. If we don't want to homogenize and have a ton of +1s it then maybe something relating to boy scouts or something that gives 1 carpentry and 1 forage (but less expensive than the 1c +1maint + 1maint trait) since those tend to be the survival skills you would learn at a scout camp. For a simple +1 it could be something related to working at a home improvement store like the massive chains we have in US like home depot, lowes, etc I feel like Carpenter profession is kind of umm... boring now? If there was some other sort of bonus to go along with it like a lot of the other main professions have I think it would be nice. Anything I think of to help comes out more similar to the construction worker or lumberjack profession. Maybe if structures decayed a carpenter would have a bonus to repairing them. I love the new variety in professions and traits overall. More info (any on character creation screen) on Fitness and Strength would be good, especially for newer players. I assume fitness is related to running and strength is either carry weight or melee attack.
  13. Seems awfully complex A bit off topic but what are your favorite mods Styxx42, and is it hard to get an older mod to work on new versions?
  14. I like this idea a lot. Would make characters more realistic and specialized and prevent people from trying to hard to 'game' the system to squeeze out more points while making characters easier to create. I know I spend forever trying to squeeze out as many points as I can in games like this XD
