I'm back, however, If demand for the rebirth is here, I might do that. I will probably just help out with others though. Full on management of a server is not something I can commit to at this time, but in the near future it may be a possibility.

Nothing says yum like brown sugar and pancakes. Waffles and ice-cream are a good combo. It was a tough choice, but in the end I love me some pancakes.

Save directory changed, but you might run into issues if you use the old ones. Haven't fully tested, but I was hitting some problems trying to use my old save.

Said last mondoid, it's been held for 34 due to Secret Reasons. Phew, I was a little worried it was going this version. If it's the reason I think it is, then I'm glad it's being held for right now. =D It will be sweet once it's ready!

I agree, this would give us more time to address the updates rather than suffer an extended lockout period if an update is pushed in the middle or the night or while we are not around.

Thanks for all the hard work guys! I've been going through a bit of a rough patch, personal issues and work related problems. My boss retired, no one to fill his position and I've had to take it all without even an ounce of compensation. Still the case, but now things are much more manageable. I hope to be a little bit more active from time to than I have been lately here on TIS forums.

If I ever find the free time I will take a look at this again and re-work it. In the meantime maybe someone else would like to update it? Otherwise you might not see me update this till after June.

You mean ARK right? Saw you guys on there. Game uses an incredibly low amount of resources for the server.

It's back up. Java stopped working for whatever reason. It's always the best when the server goes down while I'm asleep.

Just tell them to spread the words, if they really want to donate, they can buy more copy of the game and give them to their friends/make donation on stream Okay, we have an economic system in place for the players outside of the server. We use bottle caps which can be gained by either participating normally on the forums or completing ingame events. It is currently a free system.The bottle caps from the forums can be in turn used to get favors in game such as full heal to a box of ammo and many other things. We would like to monetize this system and still keep it free to make it as fair a possible. The money earned will go towards monthly upkeep and future upgrades or additional servers for the game. What we would like to do is donate a certain percentage of the earnings to were it belongs.. You guys! From your suggestion we could do this by buying more copies of the game and doing giveaways. Which, we could do via streams. I was thinking that we could do 30% royalties to you guys. Would that be okay? -sorry a pain to type this out on my phone. Ultimately, I want to support you guys. By having awesome friendly servers and getting this game as much advertisement as I can give it. I want this to succeed more than anything.

This is awesome. I just have one question. Off topic. But, if say we wanted to donate beyond having bought the game. Who or how would we donate to you guys? I also want to run through some things that we have planned and wanted to get some opinions and approvals from you guys before moving forward. I feel like this could be done the same way split screen is done. You're able to create the second character and just spawn at the usual areas without getting kicked.

Fixed it, winter seems to be very cruel. I also didn't restart it this morning, so any lingering affects over time probably started some increasing lag.

We're looking for more admins for Zeek's Haven. If anyone is interested please contact me or RichCoconut. Requirements: - Familiarity with PZ servers commandlines and operations. - Maturity to have self control over abuse of powers and to handle sensitive situations appropriately. - Willingness to run or help run events and maintain balance. - Ability to leave personal issues or favoritism with other players outside of professional duties required to admin fairly to all players. Age Minimum 16, access to a microphone, and use of TeamSpeak.

Hacking/people using multiple IPs to get around bans. I'm assuming it's related to this: http://theindiestone.com/forums/index.php/topic/14157-does-banning-actually-work/#entry176936 Yeah I was just talking to him. *sigh* I'm at my parents and don't really have a computer to use. So I can't do much outside of RDP on my phone. Which is painful. No luck finding a Java Netcoder on my end.

Rich keeps changing it to closed so only people who made passwords for their character originally could get on. I'm not sure why he keeps locking the server to people who set passwords on their characters. I changed it back.
