    Also baby goats and possibly all baby animals seem glitched I feed meh goat 10 wheat but I cant feed it anymore and it wont grow up did it from the floor btw

    Been a while since I posted here, so I decided to share an interesting idea.
     
     
    As you've probably seen in Fear The Walking Dead's season finale, a massive horde of Walkers was able to knock down a portion of a fence and overrun the medical center.
     
    In The Walking Dead's season 2 finale, the strength of the Walkers was enough to break a portion of the fence for all of them to pour in.
     
    It would be cool for something like that to happen and occur in Project Zomboid, making massive hordes an even bigger threat, regardless of how protected you are behind walls.
     
    For example, if you climb a tall wooden fence (one that you couldn't see zombies behind) and a horde is behind it, they have the potential to destroy a portion of it without having to go around.
     
    Another example: If you have a safe zone full of NPCs and players, guarded by a metal fence, a horde of over a hundred or hundreds of zombies will be able to knock down a few portions and take out the area.
     
    Certain fences, metal or wood, require a certain amount of zombies before they could be potentially destroyed by zombies. The more zombies that are present at the fence, the quicker it is for the fences to collapse.
     
    I believe that adding this feature to the game would really add on to the factor that you are never really safe in the apocalypse. It would also even add on to the stealth factor even more.

    Hey everybody!
     
    First time poster here so forgive any scr3w ups, been lurking the board for some time now and I absolutely love the game, love the modding community and love how the devs keep on giving and giving.
     
    Seeing as the (World) Creation tool is going to be implemented some time soon, I thought Id post a few screen grabs of my overly ambitious efforts at building mods using the current tools. Im sure theres tonnes of errors in these, but I dont have so much time to get as good as some.
     
    Theres a dockyard container crane inspired by a thread where some dude had a go at making a container ship which I think is an awesome idea. Sieben said something about a crane, so....
     
    Did a stupidly silly big Civic Building/Town Hall with a Presidential bunker and started a mahusive metro station with sewers and maintenance rooms etc by cheating and using the 3rd (I think) floor as Ground level. Dont think it could ever be applied even if I finished it cos of the zombie spawning thing I think. Did a metro car too but its not as good as another one posted awhile back.

    I have a suggestion very late on like when you got almost everything you wanted to get done on this mod maybe make a a (animal wise) unrealistic version I would love to find a penguin in Kentucky lol (but maybe some escaped from a zoo? lol)

    Glad you asked. Right now I'm animating different animations for the dog over 60 frames in Maya, then setting it to specific intervals to then render each image. Put simply, we're currently using sprites that are made from 3d models. I actually have a camera that looks down on the model from an orthographic view that matches the isometric perspective in the game, which I then rotate by 45 degrees each time to get the next direction (North, North East, East, etc.).
    The fact that I'm doing this in 3d and converting the results into sprites means that it looks pretty damn close to the original style of the game (which I think is awesome!) but it also means that a single frame of animation requires 9 individually rendered images that I then have to scale down manually and refine before finally saving, naming properly and uploading them. It's very tedious, but I think it's worth it.
    This way, of course, isn't the ideal way of doing things, but it definitely works for now. If we ever get custom models with animations working in-game, everything I've made so far has actually been rigged and animated, so I don't see why we wouldn't be able to throw it in without much effort if such a thing was possible in the future. Hopefully that clears that up!
    (Also, if you were asking more specifically about the coding aspects, I'm sorry, I'm just the artist )

    Still if you left him out there even if the zombies leave him alive he could die of cold starvation etc
     
    (Now I think of it would be interesting for dogs to randomly spawn some wild some used to have owners and the not as tuff weather resistant dogs say the pug and chuwawa would be the first home pets to die out followed by then next weakest with only after a few months a few breeds will remain in the wild of course you can save the weaker breeds by acting fast and making them your pet and keeping care of them well maybe put a sweater over them when its cold lol)

    There will be no public test versions untill we feel content with the state of the mod. However, starting now, people can submit applications if they are interested in being a tester through private messaging.
     
    This project is being done in collaboration with the amazingly epic WolfeClaw!
