    I made it work, and i hope you can chuckle about this;


    I went in and tried it out, and as you said it the files error'd out. So I cross checked it with another item mod and found out one difference;

    The folders "scripts" "sounds" "textures" had their beginning letter capitalized in your mod and the other one didn't have it captialized, so I changed the letters to non-capitalized and woopti, i could spawn the beretta and the ammo.

    Will look around in the world now to see if i can find item spawns and such, but I haven't seen any errors so far.

    It's always the small things, 'eh?


    Edit: Heads up, getting sound errors for firing.

    Edit 2: Fixed it by throwing in a different sound file with the file extension .ogg, doesn't seem to like .wav extension.

    Edit 3: Converted the .wav to .oggs, will continue my epic adventures. I used the MediaHuman Audio Converter. Seems to work fine so far.

    Edit 4: Getting some errors in ORGMAmmo with the "Boxed" versions of ammo that "x rounds" is not a valid parameter, i'll try change the text tomorrow. I've also experienced the Beretta 92 were not running out of ammo. I tried this with easy & Hardcore settings now. Might be something needing changed inside the ORGMReloadUtil. Will check this out tomorrow as well.

    Well, I took out 85% of the locals (which I didn't really need but I didn't think would be an issue... more just laziness) and that fixed that issue, now, the game is not finding the items in my script files... erg

    hmm, I thought anyone who uses this mod would take that as good news. version 1.0 will only mean that the mod finally gets out of WIP to complete status. That being said I'll probably still make updates if game updates ever break the mod (though I doubt it, since build 28 this mod has pretty much worked fine). In terms of content, the core mechanisms (pickling, water bath, pressure, open kettle) are all in place so adding more canning options is pretty straightforward (you don't even have to touch the messy lua code, just edit the item and recipe scripts for the most part). Anyone that can follow some instructions can do it. So If ever requested I won't mind writing up some quick instructions for people to make their additions (add-ons) to this mod for their own use or to share with any other uses of this mod.

    All the above mentioned gun additions (including your savage arms shotgun which will be a quick add, will be added in the next release.
     
    I say that because, I have my ALPHA test version done! YAY!

    keep in mind this is very much an alpha, I haven't even had time to test it myself yet as my life is fairly busy...

    Because of my lack of knowledge when it comes to LAN and Java Script im here to suggest a mod that while a bit gross adds a bit of realism to the game how I picture it would work is that over time your character would get some type of statues affect when they need to go to the bathroom and they relive that affect by using a toilet there could even be some perks like bladder of steel or something like that I think this could be a ok thing to look into.
     
    Tell me your thoughts on the idea.

    Those who are unaware what "2 Weeks Left" means, I wrote it because the map's coming out in exactly 2 weeks.
     
    I've added more buildings, fixed bugs and detailed the map the past week. I'd like to point out the one building I've added this week, it's a *drum roll* Driving School (totally not a hidden motive for devs to speed up the vehicle progress). You can see a bit of it on the left side of the screenshot.
    There's no map download for this week unfortunately, but hey, you got this super duper  awesome screenshot of the map, that's almost the same...right?
     
    One mondoid left, so I'll be seeing you next week. Cya

    Dang, you like your obscure/russian armaments! I'll address each one individually that way you can correct me if I misinterpret:
    M1A1 Thompson .45 SMG - Possible, though in real life Kentucky it'sd be very rare to find, though due to the age of the weapons, the automatic version would be grandfathered in to be usable. I might add it as an ultra rare spawn. I could also add a semi-auto version that would be slightly more common.
     
    American-180 .22LR SMG - Similar to the above... actually pretty much exactly like the above...
     
    Colt 9mm SMG - I can add a semi-auto version of this as they are fairly common to find, I can't imagine there are many auto versions available anywhere...
     
    KRISS Vector .45 SMG - I can add the CRB semi-auto variant as a very rare civvie spawn, Though I don't know if the military or police in the US use the FA version, so I don't think I can add that, though I could be wrong. Also, it takes .45 Glock mags which would make the semi-auto version compatable with Glock 21 mags. (as far as I know)
     
    Spectre M4 various caliber SMG- An Italian SMG that was made after the assault weapons ban... Don't think I can add that one and maintain any "real life" feel. There was a civilian semi-auto import with a reduced magazine but that would make it loose what made the spectre cool, E.G. the high cyclic rate and the high capacity coffin mags.
     
    PPsh-41 7.62 Tokarev SMG - A WW2 Russian SMG... I would be mind blown if you could find an operable one in the States... Also, it uses the 7.62 tokarev round which is difficult to find in itself. Unless you can convince me otherwise, I'm gonna leave this one out.
     
    Kel-Tec PLR-16 5.56 SMG - I could add this one in though it would only be in the semi-auto capacity. It is not used in any official capacity in the US and the plant (where there might be FA versions) is in Florida...
     
    Mac-10/Mac-11 .45/.380 smgs - I could add the Mac-10 as a FA very veyr rare spawn, as some crazy gun nuts might have one hidden away... The Mac-11 I am more reluctant only because it would be the only .380 ACP gun on my list and I hate haveing 1 gun to 1 ammo....
     
    OTs-02 Kiparis 9mm makarov SMG - similar reasoning to the PPSh, difficult to find rounds and Russian SMG, especially because I can't find any civilian import version of this gun.
     
    PP-2000 9mm SMG - Similar to the OTs-12, a russian SMG never made for civilian export...
     
    Uzi 9mm or .45 SMG - I might add this for the same reason as the Mac-10, also these are old enough to have been grandfathered in to the assault weapons ban
     
    RMB-93 12g shotgun - Seems like a legit shotgun, but it lists as only being commercially available in Canada, Russia and Italy... so I think I might have to pass on it...
     
    SRM Arms M1216 12 Shotgun - I can add this one as a rare civvie spawn, the capacity and magazine make it interesting. Though the fact that there is only one type of shotgun shell makes the 4 tube ability a bit moot... for balance sake I would have to make this VERY rare.... 16 round cap and semi-auto... jeesh
     
    USAS-12 - I'm going to give this one a straight up no for this mod... I don't want this turning into the expendibles zombie version...
     
    Vepr-12 - Due to laws in the US, the magazine size ifs restricted to 5, also all kalashnikov (and subsidiary) weapons have been banned by executive order as of July 2014. I am sure there were some that made it here prior to that so I will add it. It fills an interesting niche for my guns as a mag fed semi-auto shotgun (all the other ones I have currently are tube fed)
     
    Keep in mind, I am trying not to turn my mod into gun porn (as much as I want to at times).
     
    I will at some point (much later) make a mod with a fairly exhaustive gun-porn-y list of guns.

    Hey folks, I wanted to poke my head out from the abyss and say hi. I've been ridiculously busy with college work and personal projects but I miss you all! Really just wanted to apologize to everyone for disappearing, you've all given me so much positive feedback and I don't want Dreadwood to die. 
     
    As for the map itself. 
     
    I still have all the core files, although the map editor goes completely insane when I try and re-open it. I've tried again and again to resolve this to no avail and I think I have to do what I've been thinking of doing, remaking the map from scratch. The buildings are all still saved and can be re-imported easily thankfully. It's just the terrain and layers that all became scrambled some how. 
     
    I'll be back with more information when I have it. I'm on spring break so there's a little time to do something fun for a change.

    Keep in mind it is a 32x32 pic so it won't look amazing... but that is the icon size for the game
