  1. I had a really rough start... but...
  2. Make sure you have the correct version installed I believe you must be opt into the PZ beta program in steam! (Right click PZ, properties, betas, and then select the drop down)
  3. Ive had a character survive 2 bites and several scratches! Its all down to luck in the end!
  4. Fuck yea. All survivors meet at twiggy's bar!As a side note I also found a very nice house in the north-western tip of West Point! Small, out of the way, very few noisy neighbours, an all around dandy spot! Besides that I enjoy building in the yellow band of grass west of Muldraugh... a treck away, but a perfect stop off spot between farm and town!
  5. Think about it... youre getting sick, feeling queesy... where would you go? Perhaps go lay down in your bedroom, or a trip to the bathroom? When you are relly at the end of your sickness, fever, sweating, vomiting, youd definatly end up in the bathroom... and many people never left the washroom
  6. Molotovs arent in the game right now, but they will be returning! You can stilo build a barbed wire fence though, you find barbed wire in warehouse crates or garages! Then craft with hammer and nails Also, you can still start a fire in an oven! Hope this helps
  7. Bahahah! <3 you nasKo On a good playthrough I end up spending time in both, but always Mauldraugh first! Theres always something magical about leaving for West Point...
  8. .. it's very obviously related to the OP. OP asked why more people weren't playing survival, his reply was 'what's the point in survival when the game is so lacking in features?'It don't seem to me that the game is so lacking in features I always play survival and never run out of things to do! I generally make 3 safehouses, gather all the perishables and non perishables I can and spread them between the bases, hit as many warehouses as possible for nails, sandbags, barbed wire, a shotgun, shells, concrete, gravel, and plaster. All this is not mentioning the several trips required to ferry supplies, search for appropriate skill books, buckets, tools, weapons, or the leveling of sneak, nimble, lightfooted, sprinting or cooking! Then you still have to get the remainder of your farming supplies and start a farm! Ive had 3 month characters in survival and still not run out things to do All this being said, have fun playing with sandbox, just dont say that you're "only" doing it because of a lack of features P.S. Forgot to mention: trips to the large farm and trips to west point!
  9. You can break in with a sledgehammer
  10. You can find axes in west point! The answer is garages They can have several loot containers that spawn axes! Also, there are fucking tons of them, garages I mean, in the residential area.
  11. <3 I am excite Good luck and have fun everybody!
  12. The first time I saw a kid zombie in the game I hesitated. It bit me then I killed it. I told nobody I had been bitten.
  13. I can totally see where you're coming from with the zombie combat! It was an awesome game mechanic the way the zombies took damage... also rigging up those weapons were cool! However, I don't think I even made it half way through the game! The coop and the mechanics I did love weren't enough to carry me through... and I probably payed 30 - 50 bux! Whereas I played like... 8 hours of NMRIH yesterday, loved every minute of it, and didn't pay a penny! To be honest, I don't think NMRIH would be nearly as much fun without a large group of people. I would definitely recommend anybody to try it with a group of friends!
  14. I loved it Just saying, played with 7 people last night and it was amazing. Accidentally shooting people, blowing up buddies with grenades, setting friends on fire... Hit boxes must've been updated because melee was very nice actually, you need to aim for the head, anything less and you'll just make them stumble or do nearly no damage. Teaming up in small groups for melee works very well also! Have one person with a sledgehammer and the other with an axe and time your strikes together! P.S. I hated dead island Personal opinion obviously, but I find No More Room In Hell WAYYYYYYYYYYYYY better... and its free, so yea.
  15. Each thing I do, I rush through so I can do something else.
  16. I was dressed as a cranky middle aged man in a house coat handing out candy and complaining about having to leave my hearthstone match. There was oodles of left over candy, I became much less disgruntled!
  17. Without giving too much away, do you have any idea of how many professions do you definitely want in the game? No need to name them We like surprises
  18. I never did say thank you for the title Thank you mod gods*~! <3
  19. <3 Can't wait to stream this awesome update! Just one question, what is the difference between equipping a bat or the like as primary or two handed? Is there a damage increase by using it two handed?
  20. I notice that nobody has yet mentioned that you can find saws, hammers, screwdrivers, etc in peoples sheds / garages and on the grated metal shelves that are sometimes hung in closets or in random rooms in houses. More than once I've had a happy quick start because of one shelf or garage!
