  1. Omg! Someone give a medal to this man! I've been playing PZ for a loooong time by now, and I never knew you could do that! I just tried and it works! Thank you a lot!
  2. I usually burn down my base and all the houses near it xD Or I just get all my guns and sprint at a horde trying to kill as many as possible.
  3. Doge agrees. Even tho it's missing important stuff like NPCs and hunting (vehicles are my last priority), you can play the game for hours without even noticing. And I never saw developers like PZ's. They stay at the forums and comment a lot! It's an amazing interaction ^^
  4. Totally supported. I hope they add that!
  5. I think it's like that (correct me if I'm wrong): Before the apocalypse, your guy was a carpenter in his "main job", and have the gardener trait - he probably did it like a hobbie - that would explain why he level up farming faster than any other unrelated skill, like aim and first aid. It makes sense, because it's harder to learn a skill you don't have any practice than one you had as a hobbie (gardening in that case). And I have no idea how books will work after the update :/ Sorry if I said wrong things, but that's what I could get lol (also sorry for my bad english please hehe)
  6. Is the 30.14 update part of the IWBUMS? Because my game still shows 30.12
  7. Nice one! I just visited that place lol.. My safehouse is very near from there
  8. A little update in my base: (Finished the "outlines")
  9. *clap clap clap* That's a very nice setup. How did you remove the stairs?
  10. Wow, nice! What do you do for food? Farming? Fishing? I have almost 1 month now, my old save had more time but the save corrupted D:
  11. But are you infected? If not, as said Rass, SURVIVE!
  12. Oh, they can? Didnt know that. Those were the first walls I made when levelling carpentry hahah.. I'll just axe them and replace. The stairs just lead to a sheet rope to facilitate my exit/escape
  13. Great thread! Recently I managed to find all carpentry skill books, and I'm mastering level 5 now. I'm building my ultimate fort, and that's how it looks like now:
  14. My 2 month save game corrupted D:

  15. You don't really need to take it off to know it's healed. Today I got the fracture full healed, and I learned some things I would like to share with you: 0 aid skill takes about 1 week or a bit more to fully healIf you take the splint off, it won't reset the heal time (I thought it would, but it didn't at all)You don't need to take it off, you will notice you healed when you CAN SPRINT and is walking FASTEREven when you can sprint and walk faster, you will still have the "fractured" status, but it will affect only a bit of walking/sprinting speed (keep the splint up anyway until it fully heals. At this time you should take it off everyday just to check)Heal time apparently takes less time when you have more aid skillWell, that's pretty much everything I know Sorry if there's any grammar errors, I'm not native xD
  16. Yep, it still takes a little while to heal even after you can run again. Thanks for the help, I was really confused before lol Now everything's clear!
  17. Hey, thanks for the reply! Just as you posted that, my shin healed a lot (not completely). I was hanging around my base doing the things you said (nimble) AND a lot of carpentry work - as I have a load of trees around my base - then went to sleep. After I woke up, I noticed I could sprint and was moving a lot faster. I removed the splint in hope that I finally got cured, but in the health panel still says "fractured". Maybe I'm in the final stage of the healing process? That would explain my fast movements but still have the "fractured" status.
  18. Hello people! I bought Project Zomboid and I'm enjoying a lot! Got myself a good base and I have 1 month and 28 days - still alive - with my second character. Everything was going fine, BUT... I accidentally fell from the second story while building a floor, and got left shin fractured. I instantly splinted it, and I'm still with it (maybe 6 days) but I'm still not cured D: I had the "pain" moodle all those days, but today-in-game the moodle was gone, and I thought I was finally cured... But when I removed the splint, I saw I still had the fractured shin, and the pain moodle came back again (instantly got away after I splinted one more time). TL;DR How long does it takes to cure a fractured limb? Will the "cure time" reset after you remove the splint? Thanks for the awesome game, Indie Stone! And sorry for my bad english, I'm portuguese
