  1. I do wonder why I am not chopping zombies in half with a kattana at times. 50% chance to make crawler zombie when you chop their entire body in half.
  2. If you don't want trapping to be ideal all around just have it so when you drag a slain animal you leave a blood trail that or the smell of captured animals attract zombies, if you increase the risk of others finding you. Or the dangers involved with trapping, it might discourage people. I personally would like to see a lot more "Tracking" aspects added to the game. Like following blood trails would be the first thing on my list.
  3. Yeah but come on man, they'll let you reuse lids and cans it just got implemented. Vinegar and Sugar are the only consumables that should be used and destroyed in the process. Remember that farming got nerfed already, you should be able to can multiple products from one object of vinegar and sugar and reuse the old cans / lids. I doubt it'll be overpowered in multiplayer. However I could see it being extremely effective in single player but single player is pretty much sandbox mode. (Considering you get to loot everything all to yourself and the world is your personal playground.)
  4. I like the idea of that, adds to the roleplaying aspect and how people pretend to keep track of "How long after the infection" and all that lovely BS.
  5. You could accomplish that by rather then leaving things half cooked in the oven just start the game with the oven on and let the house you would have looted burn down.
  6. Canning seems to be ATM something a player could rush off the bat to try and preserve long term healthy food choices but then again I would just grab lots of orange soda and chips, so if it is worth doing it off the start when valued cannable goods are plentiful is up to debate.
  7. I think inside the bags they need a larger variety of random item spawn packets from people who saw the end was coming, stocked up on some supplies and died before they could use them. So water, food, ammo, weapons, clothes valued possessions should have a small chance of spawning inside a already small chance to spawn bag making it so items are not actually raining from the sky.
  8. Don't call it properly attacking just call it the "Charged super mega swing." and everyone will use it every time.
  9. On a respawning loot server in Muld you can loot a shotgun from the many convenience stores or the police station and find shotgun shells literally everywhere, if they really made the pistol a lot less accurate then the shotgun would be the easier way to train accuracy at early levels... However, I think they probably balanced the % hit chance on zombies with that of players because hitting a player with level 1 accuracy with a pistol is a horrible ordeal, which sounds like what you guys are describing.
  10. Because the guns are meant for the more dangerous and ever elusive survivor zombie. That or using the noise they make to draw huge amounts of zombies away from an area. Directly shooting zombies for any reason other then to train up accuracy skill is just a waste of ammo.
  11. I'd like eagle eye to give the extra cnt-mouse distance.
  12. Bacteria is what makes food expire and we are talking about implementing canning so I would assume you would do the whole process in boiling water rather then just throwing glass jars onto the fire.
  13. You can use a double boiler to disinfect glass jars, maybe juts make it require a cooking pot or something.
  14. I would like to be able to loot the cars, seems like another nice place to find water when wandering the roads.
  15. I kinda think clothes looking kinda tattered would be badass, at the moment all I have in options of clothes is to wear all pink while I shotgun people. Could I perhaps get a party hat I could wear at the same time?
  16. Random chance for your trap to spawn black bear.
  17. Lots of traits are overpowered, unlucky should probably reward you extra for picking that trait because it is such horrible pain not being able to find axes.
  18. Nerf to farming is really great, thank you. Has anyone tested sledgehammer and fatigue? Are we able to now spam swing the thing to kill players? I notice the thing practically one shots players if you hit them from behind with the thing.
  19. Sprinting skills adding speed is the best, that way I can track down those athletic people with melee weapons who think they are so clever taking their speed trait and show them some good old shotgun justice. Also, has anyone tested sledgehammer with this new patch? Can I run around and just spam sledgehammer people to death with my extra-energy?
  20. I am not 100% against the fatigue system I would just like it to be implemented properly with the ability to properly deal with zombies, I don't need to be a super-hero. I feel just stopping people from running through zombies would make this game a great deal more difficult and I really like the idea of locking people down to areas of influence so they'll travel and deal within an area making it like their own "territory" almost. However, if I have a clean stretch behind me or like a very small hallway of Sparta I should be able to hold my ground fairly effectively against the rotted menace. When your house gets surrounded by zombies and they start pouring in through every window you should probably die in that kind of a situation unless you get lucky and one window is clear, if zombies bodies blocked way more then you would be way more afraid of zombies wherever you went. You would avoid closed areas a lot more because they are death traps. I just hate the idea of being stuck in a place where I'd die and being unable to defend myself in a life or death situation because I am le tired.
  21. This will force people to base on multiplayer, well I don't mind extra loot being in place I can get other then dufflebags in the woods. I would just really appreciate it if we could still kill a large amount of zombies, doesn't have to be anything too crazy but if players can't adequately defend their own bases from a decent amount of zombies they'll be pissed. Perhaps add a cornered option that makes your character ignore the effects of that, because players should have the right to have a base that they can properly defend.
  22. I like the idea of doing lots of stimulants all day to keep from resting. Please implement cocaine.
  23. Well I mean, hopefully one day the person would learn the rhythm of the swings and they wouldn't need the visual indicator anymore. It would be like drumming, wait however long before giving it another pound, wouldn't take long for the brain to memorize it and just start doing it correct every time.
  24. @Rathlord - The problem is, you won't stop people from killing zombies in mass, we'll just find new ways to do it. We'll effectively find ways to work around the problem of zombies, like as of next patch camp fire is just going to be the go-to method for frying large hoards and it'll just be used by a lot more people now that weapons are a lot less viable. You can patch all you like to encourage different gameplay but we'll find ways around it. Because of the rest changes I guess I'll have to carry a tent around with me which is tragic, but it does encourage basing and hoarding of loot which I really enjoy because it is little treasure troves around the map I can track down. *Edit* I am with you Florin, this patch slows down the pace of the game when the difficulty could come from other places.
