Is there going to be a basement in the isolated forest house?
Jack Bower replied to Sungel's topic in General Discussions
Would be cool if you could delete 1x1 land blocks with a shovel or something Minecraft style. Just let us delete the ground chunks to make open areas. For digging deeper be able to construct downwards dirt stairs with a shovel. Allow wooden walls to be placed directly against dirt walls and people will be able to create their own basements / underground facilities. Shovels will not allow you to dig through tiles that are not dirt. -
This is very important. While things are being moved server-side that radios which are placed on the ground are also moved! Reason being is, people press mute on the button. Someone else enters the room and starts talking, and the radio is only muted for one person! All kinds of awkward conversations get leaked and base raiders with distance trackers can find you because of a annoying mechanical bug. Please make radios server side!

For example would be for things like ear pieces like what the secret service use. Or full sized radio head sets. Or the ability of modders to make a special watch you can communicate over.

Project Zomboid - This is how it Dies.

Still waiting on them fixing multiplayer gun stun animation lock. Most RP servers don't even accept mechanical combat because it is so janky. -

City of Hairburg v1.02 - stand alone full map replacement release

This map looks super interesting! Looks like a lot of work went into it. Gj! -
Bumping this because it needs to happen.

Pressing this button, perhaps pgup+ should raise your z level so you can see what your character sees on an upper floor. This makes stairs less of death traps, help balance people on higher elevations shooting and overall increase the game quality.

Are you complaining that with practice you can beat a game? What do you think they should add? Left4dead monsters that upon gaining line of sight of you immediately kill you? If the game is not hard enough for you, open up the sandbox and set the difficulty yourself. Hell, even use a mod that makes zombies run as fast as cars if it is still too easy for your greatness. For the rest of us, we're happy to get this content. The first thing that comes to mind when I saw this was. "Wow, we could do a map that is 100% forest with no buildings and make civilization." Not. "People might live in the forest and that might be easy- Because living in the forest is already easy and can already be done. Your just beating a drum complaining about content being added, while claiming no one else can understand your vision. Meanwhile plenty of people have 4k+ hours spent on the game and are much more excited about this content than fighting zombies while pressing the back button for the ten thousandth hundred time.

A lot of people are really excited to try out the expanded crafting.

Really cool server. Played there a few times. Def one of the better ones. -
It is for multiplayer when you spawn into maps without loot respawn. Or if you start in a custom map without any loot containers. It will shine more in multiplayer than single player play. Plenty of players have essentially /beaten/ the game. If you get your nimble skill high enough - you can move faster than zombies when you hold the cnt key. That trivializes the game much more than this patch. Server I am currently playing on is planning a Medeval Times RP server when it comes out.

I've been dreaming on this one. So many great potential things could be done with a car ramp that could move a vehicle up a Z level. . . Not to mention the sweet ass ramps I would make to try to jump over bases..

Allows you to yell way further and makes everything you say in /s count as yelling as long as it is in your main hand.

We're finally getting that Project Zomboid Fallout Server SS13 style.

I will now carry my trusty pillow with me everywhere.

Legal trailers have braking systems that trigger when you stop your car. Towing a random car in PZ does not have that feature. Meaning if you try to stop at 80 miles an hour with a 2 ton car being towed behind you. Naturally it won't brake and it will go wildly out of control. However I will note the car should follow the path of the vehicle towing it in most cases.

Being able to reverse the direction on sheet ropes.
Jack Bower replied to Irken Empire's topic in PZ Suggestions
The sheet rope thing could be as easy as pressing W and S to direct going up and or down. It can be pretty horrifying when you are clearly climbing into death and there's no way to control your character. / Check where climbing will place you because of how the Z levels function. -
Issue #2 is probably the biggest issue with guns in PZ atm. The general consensus of the RP community is "Guns are broken." and until a server option is added that properly removes the stun lock from guns these threads will continuously pop up and the M14 will always be the absolute best gun for 75% of pvp situations.
