  1. Does this one use the same map as the original?
  2. How about throwing an alarm clock that you set on a timer?
  3. The original water textures will be needed for fishing. And this texture don't exist on my map. Therefore I must rewrite the lua-script of fishing. And if you could fish on my map, you would only catch fishes from Kentucky. So... Does that mean players will eventually be able to fish?
  4. I was just wondering with that map, you can overlay dreadwood and bedford falls so you can see which direction to go to each one.. Is the New Denver and Vacation Island able to be overlays aswell so you can have all of them in one map? I would say TWD prison aswell but it was small enough to just put in any open field really.. Theres no ocean in Kentucky and New Denver is in Canada.
  5. You should add that adult Raccoons are not recommended to be keep as pets due to them never being even partially domesticated. I though Kestrels were native to Africa not Kentucky? Or are they an "introduced species"?
  6. Animals like Horses and Cows that aren't native to North America do fine in this climate though.
  7. This reminds me of Donkeys which have become a native species in the Southwest US due to strays from farms breeding in the wild since the 16th century!
  8. Well I noticed that Worms, Crickets, Grasshoppers and Cockroaches never spoil and essentially are forever lasting. This doesn't make sense and is a little overpowered so I think you should have to feed these things in your inventory to keep them from dying! And instead of a Freshness Meter they'd have a Hunger Meter!
  9. It would be cool if you could hatch the Wild Eggs!
  10. Friendly farmers that lived on the farms in the woods that'll sell you vegetables they grow would be awesome! It would be nice to see that but i feel you should have to become decently befriended with them in order for them to sell. That way you cant just run up to them, Beat them up and run away then expect for him to still sell you food. Plus i feel trade would be more important than money since its just paper. Well I never said money and I agree with you...
  11. Friendly farmers that lived on the farms in the woods that'll sell you vegetables they grow would be awesome!
  12. I think those would end up being skill points not occupations.
  13. I don't know how but I know its possible as the fan-favorite maps of Bedford Falls and Dreadwood are when downloaded integrated into the main overworld without affecting anything. Dreadwood is in the middle of the loooooooooooooooooooooooong stretch of road between Muldraugh and West Point. Bedford Falls is put into a large clearing deep into the forest where nothing was before.
  14. I know Survivors aren't yet implemented but this is for when they are: My idea is that some areas could generate with pre-designed Survivors that would've been there when the Apocalypse happened. For example: Hunter Survivors at Hunting Lodges There are a couple Hunting Lodges in West Point deep in the woods so it would make sense that hunters would've been there when the Apocalypse happened. Whether they'd be friendly or not and how they work is the developers call. But I personally would make them sort of like merchants that would sell meat from the Rabbits and Deers and whatnot they hunted (this is also of course for when animals are added). Construction Worker Survivors at Construction Sites Since theres Construction Sites in the game there would also be construction workers at them when the Zombie Apocalypse happened and obviously not all Construction Sites would've had workers at the time but some would've. How they would work in Project Zomboid would be the developers call again. But personally I would make them sorta like players with high Carpentry skill as they'd be building walls and storage crates and whatnot in an effort to keep them alive in the Zombie Apocalypse. Those are the suggestions I have at the top of my head but be sure to post your own below!
  15. Thats the smartest best idea anyones ever made.
  16. Actually theres a kind of Tree (forget the name) I think the Empress Tree? They grow like 25 feet in year.
  17. Yeah but I imagine that'd be quite hard to program.
  18. I've learned that Dogs are planned additions and thats awesome! Heres some suggestions I have for certain "types" of Dogs for when they're added. Hunting Dogs These Dogs exist and they could be used as hunters if the Player(s) tamed them. They'd be especially useful late in the Apocalypse after all the non-perishable food has been looted. They might also be used by Survivors once they're added? Imagine watching a Survivor looking at a Sheep grazing on shrubs on once was someone's lawn then giving his Dog behind him a hand signal sending the Dog at the Sheep. Then through several repeats of this both the Survivor and the Dog are provided with food for the Winter! Guard Dogs These Dogs exist and they'd spawn at set locations at the start of the game where they'd normally be (like Prisons of private property) their spawn location would serve as a "post" where'd they spend most of their time sleeping or patrolling in a set path forcing the Player to sneak past them but if the Player woke one or caught the site of one they'd start barking signaling the other Dogs and attacking the Player, Survivors, and Zombies if they awoke them. After killing whatever awoke them or they caught sight of they'd eat them or whatever was on them and return to their "post". Though the Dogs probably wouldn't continue gaurding forever. But they'd still do it for a long time...
  19. I don't agree with Raccoons being rare. Very common is the opposite of rare mate. Would be awesome to eventually have all these animals in the game. I think it would be awesome that these animals slowly move into the city, according to the amount of erosion/days of the apocalypse. Oh dear I must've misread that...
  20. Rabbits aren't in the game. He meant as food that you can get in traps Well I meant living Rabbits.
