I recognized that the "TCP" error and endless "connecting" happens to me on other servers too. No idea why that is though. Might be a case for the support category.
Basically if you build up a death pit with alot of cover and turrets and only a small front entrance you can survive without losses against all raiding parties, before the raiders get in they are surrounded and get killed one by one. I played till cycle 10 or 11 then I got bored, but it's a nice game concept.
Hello RoboMat, thanks for your help, actually it did improve a little bit, but its still a little slow, guess I will wait for the 3d engine update before playing fulltime again.
Really huge improvements to the gameplay, good job. It's just that I also suffer from extreme fps drop since the West point updates, I tried to lower the resolution in window mode and disabled shaders but the only way to get from 10-15 fps to around 20 is to zoom in completely. I reinstalled java and checked my drivers but that didn't help.
I think it's not the zombie numbers that is a problem, rather the weird spawn behaviour of the game that needs to be overhauled. Zombies shouldn't spawn right next to your safehouse or out of nothing when you return to a place where you have been a couple minutes before. I think zombies should migrate from one map cell to another and not respawn in the cell that you currently are.
Zombie spawns are still completely weird. The first days it was all OK but after a while everytime I woke up my garden was surrounded with dozens of zombies, I couldn't lure the horde away since they seem to always respawn exactly in my garden everytime I get back. I play on low zombie population.
The zombie density is ridiculously high again. Even on zombie pop. on low I couldn't get all zombies off my lawn since they respawn just when I go into the house or walk around it. I constantly have around 10-30 zeds walking around my place or hordes migrating left and right.
Probably long time, but for every min that goes it will be less time! And to think about how long we have seen this game evolve. It might be close by :>! I'm sure they gonna surprise us like they did with splitscreen-mp.
