I was actually thinking about this. I was thinking of using cash to trade with survivors when they get put in. I mean every society has a medium of trade aside from items. The items have to have a representative value behind them. Seeing as gold is pretty null it makes logical sense the survivors would use paper currency as that medium of value instead and continue using it.

Well wit the direction the game is going now on default settings I'm not sure I could make it a day, much less to old age. lol The games already ridiculously hard for me. When they said hard I thought they were going to mean more like fun hard. Instead it's more like sheer frustration hard. To put it in gaming terms, I was thinking Morrowind hard and got Dark Souls hard. lol But yeah. I mean that is an interesting concept, not sure it fits for PZ though. Plus the age thing seems kind of out of place now anyway. It was a cool concept when they first came up with it, but I just don't think it fits into the style anymore. Obviously the devs do though or they wouldn't have kept it this long. Interested to see what they do with it.

Okay so this was brought up in another thread but really didn't want to necro a thread from 2014 and it was more about 'aging' anyway. Initially that's what I wanted too, but now we can just do it with RP. A much easier solution that wouldn't be very time consuming (at least if and when the devs decide to return to it) would be to just remove it for now. I have no idea how difficult that would be, I'm not a developer but I imagine for the devs it would be pretty easy. It's really odd to see 27 on my supposed 56 year old character. xD Obviously this isn't an immediate concern and pretty minor, but I still wanted to hear the communities opinions on it. Also as a side note, I'm curious... Am I the only one who RP's age? Or does anyone else?

I believe this is already a feature. After a couple weeks in game time my character hardly panics at all. Anything above that it has to be really severe to make him panic.

I was talking to Lemmy about it and he wants the release to be really special. He told me he couldn't imagine releasing before then, because it's more special if he releases it on the date of the Illuminaughty's official rise and the fall of the false incarnates happen.

I literally just run them over with cars. I mean first I take out my wife. WHAM then I take out everyone I see while driving WHAM WHAM WHAM! Then I continue doing that until they get hostile and shoot my through my window and I bleed out in the woods ... RIP xD But the mod is ace. Gives a little depth to the game until the actual NPC's are finished.

Update : So it would seem the lag has something to do with the population (and probably my mods aren't helping since when I turned them off it got somewhat better.) But turning down pop did it for me and based on what I'm seeing on my end it has something to do with the chunks loading in. Not sure why. Also, the heater isn't working. That may sound like a small issue but trust me, it is not. I have a thing with never being able to get warm in PZ lmao this is my lifeline. So on that note I request that when the heater gets fixed it gets named the MZG Patch. MrZombifiedGamer Patch. Probably wont happen but aye I gave it a shot right? lol Anyway hope that little bit of info helps. Wish I knew more about the internals of the script so I could really dig in there... But yeah chunks loading, population and probably my mods.

Specs : GPU: AMD Radeon R7 360 Processor: AMD FX 8320 Eight-Core And I'm using Windows 10. It's a custom prebuilt IBuyPower PC. I have a sneaky feeling it's Win10 causing me the issue. But the devs probably know better than I do. My card only seems to be in issue in Beth games where it causes really weird bugs but no lag and the rest of my rig is never an issue besides occasionally overheating due to inferior cooling. But Win10 has caused more than its fair share of problems. From incorrectly distributing memory to unnecessarily bogging down my PC with useless apps. lol And if I remember correctly someone said that PZ is more memory intensive now? That might be part of my issue, or the whole issue. Either way I hope my input helps, sorry I couldn't give anymore details. I'll keep testing it and see if I can give more feedback.

I'm getting pretty severe FPS drops when driving and when not driving. I was assuming that was already reported but just in case it wasn't I thought I'd drop it. Once that's fixed I'll test some more and let you know if I find anything, for now it's just difficult. But man this is good. Y'all did an amazing job on the vehicles. Very well done. Can't wait to see the final product!

Oh sorry guys. In case anyone was having my issue just switch from IBUMS and back, it'll force download the new version. That's how I fixed it.

I think you misunderstand. The admins will still be able to see usernames. o.O This wouldn't cause trolling. It would just enhance RP. But yeah I like the idea of admins being able to swap it when they choose.

Well here's a little thing about NPC's. I heard there was going to be a MrZombifiedGamer NPC. He's going to be lovely, I heard he's going to have a hat and some pants (hopefully some pants.) I also heard he was going to have a pipe, no, not a corncob pipe, a wooden pipe! And a top hat... Which goes with hats but that's just part of it. Oh and pants, he's gonna have some pants and they are going to be great pants! Best pants you can imagine! Oh and shoes! And he'll frequently bring up a game called Project Zomboid he played and how he waited and waited for NPC's and they finally arrived! Then he'll refer to his boots which he doesn't have anymore. You'll go on an epic quest to obtain his boots and return them to our poor survivor. But when you get back he'll be... You guessed it... Zombified... *sighs* #PrayForMrZombifiedGamer

Okay so I posted about this before and I really wasn't sure how to handle it. I wanted to keep it fresh so just in case someone forgot or didn't see it. Wasn't sure if I should bump that one or make a new one. But I decided to do this in any case. So I suggest we change out MP so instead of seeing your username you'll see your players name. It would be amazing for RP and I wont have to keep changing my username every time I die and create a new charri. Very simple change I think. xD Also impacts the RP community loads, everyone will love it. Even people who don't RP because it's just so much more realistic! Yeah? XD Maybe have it as a toggleable option for server admins if you really want to keep both. Bam, Cha-Ching! Again, sorry if this is against the rules. I tried going to the rules but it doesn't say anything specifically about this. So I wasn't sure if I should find and bump that one or if making a new one was called for. I've seen mods get upset when people necro old threads but I've also seen mods get upset when you create duplicates. Usually the mod then suggests either necroing or creating a duplicate (depending on the situation), which Is kind of odd but I have seen it happen. I think it has something to do with the age of the post. But I couldn't find an explanation.
