AI Director, Sadistic AI Director. Fecking Meta-Game. Why are we so dumb? The answer was staring at us the whole time.

The AI system in the game that manages the world and orchestrates events is now called: THE GOVERNOR.

    Because... well obviously...

So, If your smart enough to survive a year (I don't think I am...), you could find decorations and decorate your house for Christmas. Maybe if you've put a Christmas tree up, your character would get a moodle like "Christmas spirit" Or what. Maybe your character will gain hope (Moodle form again). Would be amazing when NPC's join you. Going door to door asking neighboring zombies for pudding. This is small, so feel free to share your ideas on why or not you would want this.

Okay, so I know decomposition is in. But I was curious at some point if we could add bodies decomposing to skeletons? Then maybe using the human bones for different crafting recipes? I've always been fascinated with decomposition and it would be cool if you opted to start in later game if you walked into houses and saw skeletons in them.

Great Idea! I would love beating somebody down with a wooden bat! But if they're on the ground, out cold, there should be one other option, when you right click.

I've yet to meet a bandit in a game that didn't want to kill you.  I think the breed would die out before spreading its ideals.  Makes me think of what the bandits say in Skyrim: "You'll be so much easier to rob you when you're dead!"

Currently, it's really hard to be a bandit unless you want to be a cold blooded killer. You can't reliably rob someone, since you don't know for sure what they have in their inventory. Your only real recourse is to kill the person and loot them, or if you're a robin-hood type, take their word for it that the rotten orange is really all they have yes really.

    IMAGINE IT:

You're walking down the road, woods on either side of you. Suddenly a bunch of bandits spring out and start beating you with a baseball bat, and/or throwing punches. You fall to the ground after trying to fight them off, and after delivering a few more kicks or punches they empty your inventory and make off with whatever they feel like, leaving you bleeding on the ground, probably unconscious but completely unable to move for a set time. Eventually you can stand up, emptied of your vital supplies, but you're still alive. Rip up your shirt for bandages, lick your wounds, then plot revenge.

    MECHANICS:

It could be another state of PvP. "Brawl". When activated, if you have a non-lethal weapon equipped (Perhaps fists will work as well?) it will deal damage but has a very low chance of outright killing someone. The victim is knocked to the ground after a certain amount of hits/damage, and is unable to move for a set amount of time. The victim can then be looted, but is still alive. If SP, the player could also be knocked unconscious for a few minutes. To indicate someone is in the brawl state, an icon could pop up over the person's head. It could be a fist, or an angry face, or... Something. While in this state, you can immediately switch to lethal - or "classic" PvP as it stands, after 1 second of cool-down, or as soon as you pull out a lethal weapon: Any kind of gun, or "sharp" item.

    POTENTIAL:

I believe this  could open up a lot of new interactions in MP and SP. The "furious" moodlet could automatically lock you in the brawl-state, triggering a fist-fight in the middle of the safe-house. You could swing a punch at someone in a disagreement, or make your banditry life possible without having to resort to cold-blooded murder right off the bat.

Heck, we could even have fist-fights for the glory of ruling the group, if you want to run it like the Dothraki. Then, when the fist-fight escalates and someone accidentally dies, you'll have a body on your hands and have to figure out how to deal with the fallout...

Whilst I am not always a fan of some of your suggestions I love the amount of work you put into them and the pictures you included.  I don't agree with having all these different types, a zombie is just a zombie.  Just because the zombie was a cop doesn't mean he is somehow immune to bullets to the head.  I don't see a place for "special zombies" in games or in lore, they seem to be only there to artificially increase the difficulty.

Off topic, as I said I always enjoy reading your suggestions as you usually put work and pretty pictures in them, but if I was to offer my opinion (feel free to ignore it) you are trying to hard with them.  The suggestions the dev's are looking for are usually small or things that make the game system more intuitive (tool belts, holsters, crowbars being used to open a window etc, ladders, being able to saw all logs on the ground), not complex suggestions that are not really linked to the lore or what the game is trying to achieve.

I'm new here but I've played the game for awile and I've read disscussions on the thread. Nobody seems to have thought about this and I'd love to see it in game.

    Burials/Burnings
When NPC's are out, I'd love to see something about how the group(and your charater) will feel. What if...
When an NPC survivor dies, and you have the body, you can bury them. In the game, we will be able to burn corpses of zombies so when survivors are added we should be able to do that to their body's too.
For a burial, we can dig a hole in the ground (like with farming) and if we have the body in our inventory, we can put the body in the hole as a sort of grave.
Then, for a headstone, you could get a plank or something to put by the grave. If it's wood, you could carve in a few words for your fellow survivor. Example, "R.I.P. Billy Bob You were a jerk" or whatever you want really.
For burnings, you will hold a ceromony and burn the body there. I'll talk about ceromonies in a bit.
These can help other survivors move on depending on personality. Ceromonies
If you are in a group, you can hold a ceromony for the dead survivor. You and your group would go and say some kind words about the dead victim at a the grave or before you burn the corpse.
At the ceromony, survivors can talk about the fallen, depending on their relationship with them and events that took place even (That's a stretch) they will say different things. Example, Survivor 1 hated Billy Bob so he says "Can't say I'll miss him." or something while Survivor 2 loved Billy Bob and says stuff like "He saved my life, he will be missed" Wishes
Another interesting feature would be that some charaters will want to be buried or burned in death. You could come across this in conversations and stuff or a survivor might be in a graveyard and say "I'd hate to be buried in a cold dark coffin." And you may remeber that if you want to bury them and decide to burn them instead.
This would depend on personality and maybe if the survivor has a certain religion. Wrap Up
Overall, I think this would be a great feature for role playing in a group. You could have a small (or large) graveyard at your base of fallen survivors. This would add some depth to charaters and I think it would be great.

This could be added after survivors have been released too.

Note: All these options to do with the dead would all be optional (You may just want to leave the bodies where they are or you might not even have recovered the body... Who knows?)

Deffo would like to see burying your dead friends in the game. Not sure if ceremonies are going a bit far but certainly could have some dialogue and whatnot  its not really clear how good a eulogy we could rustle up that wasn't general and non character specific .

As for the grave signs, it is cool with the paint and you could do that but what I meant was more like a note you can read on the wood. It'd be cool to mark where survivors died too. Hell, we can build them a monument!

The permanantes Injuries: The idea is pretty simple. Being able to lose body members! This would reflect well an aspect of survival! Each scars, each member body would cut like a medal for surviving!Especially since, if a player survival with a severed limb, leg etc.. This will make him a legend!

In addition, programmers can create new object as, crutches, prosthesis wooden hands or legs, or even a wheelchair!

It is obviously that a severed leg slow running, one arm will no longer take things with 2 hands etc..

There might also be some scars on the torso or head.

All of these injuries could have happened if you take too much damage at once. For example, if one of your members go directly critically injured, all of a sudden!
