  1. Best thing in patch xD btw loving, loving and loving the new stuff <3
  2. I know, this is not the right place to ask, but I have posted on the steam discussion http://steamcommunity.com/app/108600/discussions/0/619573787508114646/?l=norwegian And (other places) and it has been almost two years, so I am going to ask Can you, pretty please, increase or alter the jar spawn rate, so it becomes actually a useful thing even in multiplayer? You would make me so happy, especially with this new - you get skinny and die - feature, where long lasting food is very important. I spent 1 week on a server with daily restarts (and resets of commercial buildings) looting the Mall daily, so far I managed to get 1 jar and 1 jar lid 9 vinegar and 12 sugar. I mean, I really want to get my vegetables into those lovely jars, but its not a viable option and kind of ruins the game experience for me (who loves farming and MP). Either way, I would be very very very grateful if you did this for me, as a long lasting PZ veteran
  3. I believe, this could easily be balanced by adding some sort of negative effect once a character is losing weight for a larger period of time. Just imagine you lose 10-20 kg in a couple of weeks, your body would be completely depressed, you would have serious problem moving or doing things (even with the excess calories still in your character).
  4. Wait, there is 2 player co-op mode???!?! HOW!?! Please help me with this <3
  5. Guys, is there any resource on how long each food is good (after how many days it goes stale, rotten) and how much refrigeration/ freezing can prolong this? Also once a food is jarred it becomes non-perishable until opened?
  6. I think blood adds a decent amount of satisfactory, when you blow the brains of a zombie. Also what do you know about the zombie virus? Maybe it keeps the blood flowing, after all how could the body move? Maybe it completely reanimates the body, without the major function of the brain and cell regeneration, only the vital organs. Decent video btw! I CANNOT WAIT to get my hands on this new piece of animation system Will it also include the sneaking animations etc we all been hyped about?
  7. With the addition of furniture moving, using bins seems like a viable option to collect rain water Especially if you are just a stupid burger flipper, this is the first thing that would come to my mind for sure just a simple solution, plus it would make nomad style roaming a bit more viable after water shutdown, as you could refill your bottles from bins - problem is that you cant keep them to be containers then right?
  8. I have a question, can wild eggs be used in recepies as a substitute for normal eggs? Also, how much information will the player see once this is released in the normal build, regarding calories and such? What traits would you need to see more info (if any)?
  9. 1500 calories, how many worms are that exactly? (btw this is on IWBUMS?)
  10. Just look at the flowers! (bit off topic - I tried to put IWBUMS active, and my saved files dissappear even from the server I play the character, I guess thats normal right?)
  11. I know, but I meant the Jar function which was a mod before hand I thought he meant THAT mod, but I guess he meant the map
  12. I love project zomboid not just because it is indeed one of the most fun and amazingly detailed zombie (and any other survival) game in almost every aspect, but also has the nicest dev team ever Keep it up guys <3 can't wait for this update :3
  13. This is not a mod, its actually in the base game now (or do you mean the Map mod?).
  14. I need this! We need this D: Stop teasing us and give us the keys already! :3
  15. Just an update - I made them appear in kitchen counters as common as cookingware, also in resaturant kitchens (counters), convenience stores and grocery stores (crates). I increased it to 2-4-10 respectively and getting balanced results. We looted around 6 houses and 2 stores, got a total of 4 jars and 6 lids. With loot respawning every 2 weeks on the server, this can give us a nice build up by winter time now Annoying thing, that everyone had to edit the lua who wants to come on the server as now its "modded", I hope that devs increase spawns as well so this won't be necessary in the future
  16. Chance the roll value in SuburbsDistribution.lua found in ProjectZomboid\media\scripts I just checked there is no lua like this only a txt, but it does not have "Jar" or "Jarlid" in the text, only food and other stuff. Look for Base.JarLid and Base.EmptyJar I just tried and they're there. Thanks I got it now. Will increasing this result in higher chances? Let's say it is 2 - if I make it 3 or 4?
  17. Chance the roll value in SuburbsDistribution.lua found in ProjectZomboid\media\scripts I just checked there is no lua like this only a txt, but it does not have "Jar" or "Jarlid" in the text, only food and other stuff.
  18. Chance the roll value in SuburbsDistribution.lua found in ProjectZomboid\media\scripts Thanks!
  19. You can't have everything on you all the time hehe You would be overburdened constantly.
  20. Is there a way to manually increase the spawn rate of jars for our server? Please let me know.
  21. Exactly my point. Making it more common, appear in packs of 10 maybe, would allow you to efficiently can your veggies if you have 5-6 jars to give you food for 24 days in the winter (if you eat 1/4 of the jar each time you eat). To efficiently feed a group for 5 survivors (or 6-7 which is our current set-up), and you only rely on farming (trapping food cannot be preserved right now). You will need 90 days worth of food which is 450 quarter rations (this is pretty much the minimal food you can possibly have), 120 jars of food. Practically - impossible with current jar spawn and HARD even with all other non perishables unless you forage (which provides mushrooms in huge quantity that do not perish). I am not saying make this easier, but I would be happy to get a closer number (20/30 jars maybe in a few months of scavenging). We are out there all the time 6-7 looking, we only found 2 jars and 1 lid so far (after around 30-35 hours of gameplay in Muldraugh). We looted everything like 3-4 times.
  22. I would like to argue, with the fact that more lids would ruin gameplay. I mean it is fun, to create your own little farm and stock up some stuff for winter and not having to go out to scavenge every day to the city. Also the amount of can food you can find, is high even with rare loot - thus making it possible to just stock up and sit on your arse all day. Opposing to this, nurturing your farm takes practise, effort and a lot of other things (water, anti-pestitides etc.) Without jars, farming is stupid, as all the extra food goes to waste (unless you have more people with you that eat). Making these only mainly appear in the Mall is also unfair, to those who play in Muldraugh for example. Making this huge walk, fight with a thousand zombies for 3 jars and 2 lids, is kinda disappointing. I am fine with the spawn them in certain locations, but at least have 5-6 places where they can spawn, or make lids to appear in packets so at least when you find one, you know it will be good for 6-10-12 jars. I am also not fan of the re-usable lids, I prefer the more in one pack version.
  23. I believe that people will continue to either break your house door, or burn the entire house down using a campfire and just not give two shits about the lock system... Can they break the padlocks on the boxes and stuff? I am really excited about this update, and can't wait for NPC's or the "washing the blood or getting sick" thing either :3
  24. Your level 5 cook will accidentally cook rotten ingredients and killing the entire group within a day :3 oooops. Also I wonder if this would be possible? To feed them rotten stuff without them noticing? Would be an epic and sophisticated way to murder your close friends ^^)
  25. This all sounds more or less inline with what we're doing group politics will be deep. Awesome sounds very nice guys!
