  1. You have to slice it first (have knife equipped and the option appears when right clicking on the onion), have you tried that?
  2. I like this game, I like this company... Patience is like, my strongest virtue! Joke aside, no worries man (or pressure?) - I just wanted to sound like a hyped child to voice my appreciation for your present and future contribution to the game. Looking forward to it, cheers!
  3. OMG, beautiful... And that discussion about the fog, like it's gonna happen.. Please make it happen
  4. I'm sure many have said this before, but this is a game and not everything needs to be 100% realistic. Otherwise we can start adding random injuries such as broken ankle on the run or random cardiac arrest due to a jump scare. That being said, can you imagine the aftermath on a server with 12 people, 4 of which are driving around in cars, followed by mega hordes. Renders whole server unplayable.
  5. Fixed. And yes, they will probably address this at some point in the future adding everything you just described. Not so sure they'll add aspirin though.

    Smash n' Grab

*Sigh* LIDS dammit, jar lids are the problem, not jars
  7. Long answer: read the mondoid Short one: build a compost, a wooden compost bin in which you store rotten food to make a fertilizer for your crops. Edit: if you're on a beta, IWBUMS build that is, otherwise installing a mod would be the only option as Lord Gonfalon suggests.
  8. On a serious note (contrary to my post before) I'd kill for some PZ style game (depth, isometric) but set on some allien planet with fully in-depth biology, etc... Or as @xXSly_WolfyXx suggested, an iso metric game, rpg, set in medieval times, like 'skyrim' but I'd want a bit darker tale here. TIS could become THE company for iso metric games
  9. Project Zomboid 2, early access, hahaha.. Ha.. Ha..
  10. lol @Jack Bower Though, in defense of New Dawn, people (admins) that made it a great and famous server are no longer present there for different reasons. All that is left from "New Dawn" is its name. Sad really as the 'original' New Dawn was the best Zomboid RP server. Maybe they'll pick it up though (go to its roots), can't tell, but if not, another one will surely sprout and take its place. Cheers!
  11. And Slovenia and Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia, Montenegro,...
  12. Thanks ShylokVakarian, I'll keep my eyes out on the thread, hopefully it won't take too long for people to answer few simple questions. Cheers!
  13. When (where?) are we going to see the results?
  14. Everything is situational or related to play style, therefore knives objectively cannot be objectively the best weapon. Subjectively? Yes I prefer axes over knives because I can deal with larger numbers. You don't engage in horde fights with knife anyway so fatigue is (to me) of little importance there. But I can see the appeal.
  15. Pancakes in the heavy lead! We all knew this was going to happen !
  16. I'm surprised how we're going to see blacksmith profession implemented in this game before we can brew alcohol/spirits or even use a wooden stove to keep warm I don't think its been that long to consider those 2 a 'lost art' yet.
  17. "Alamo" - have your base overrun "Nothing personal" - kill x amount of zombies (10.000?) with bare hands "Heisenberg" - produce x amount of medicine (1000?) "I'm the one who knocks" - intimidate a group of survivors "Nun with a shotgun" - kill a rare NPC () "Just... DO IT" - Don't let your dreams be dreams, survive for 30 years +1 to "shop till you drop" suggestion from ShuiYin
  18. I agree with many points, but I believe this has yet to be balanced, this is afterall, an early access game. One point that wasn't mentioned though is 'partial' harvesting. For example when I harvest my tomato plant, I don't need to harvest it fully (can leave some for later on, still fresh) and even when if I do harvest it completely, there's no need to pluck the plant out the dirt. I can wait and harvest it again later on. (yes, my farming speed is very low in all my games) Also, as a central European, I want sauerkraut in my game! A barrel, cabbage and some salt, that's it ! And some weights !
  19. you and me both, my 'brother in arms'
  20. Damn Steam was bombarding me with Project Zomboid. I'll be honest and say I didn't like it very much at a first glance, trailers, pictures. I mean, it was interesting to a point - but with so many other awesome games - there wasn't much that could potentially grab my interests. However, as if Gaben himself knew exactly what kind of person I am and what I like - he didn't surrender. Steam continued to bombard me with PZ wherever it could until one night Gaben whispered to my ears. Tried out the demo and said "Welp I'm buying this" Shortly after - I called in sick and bought another another copy for a friend :D
  21. Hey OP, sorry to hear you didn't enjoy this game as much as myself (and many others) although I would suggest you giving the game another try later on as many points you touch upon are getting revisited. I'll try my best to explain in few points. 1. Empty World - I totally agree, game does 'feel dead', there are zero living beings in it beside your character. Even random pigeons flying by could potentially change that feeling but hey. It is what it is. However I do believe this is going to get changed when NPCs are added back into the game. You can have a look about it here http://projectzomboid.com/blog/2014/07/its-an-npc-related-mondoid1-no-hype-pls/ http://projectzomboid.com/blog/2014/07/little-green-dot-versus-the-evil-red-dots/ http://projectzomboid.com/blog/2015/03/whats-in-the-box/ If it's your biggest issue with the game though, you can try out the multiplayer aspect of the game. I'd suggest RP servers (even if you do not roleplay yourself) as those are the best because its lacking trolls/griefing. Whatever you decide - go with a whitelist server, I wouldn't want your experience ruined off the bat by some random trolls. 2. Build 32 is all about changing that though. No more "This is how I farmed". I've tested this new build (as much as time allows) and I can honestly say you're gonna be in for a surprise when it comes live. Game is a lot more challenging, especially if you are going nomad (I'm a bit confused though, as you complain about random horde event - even though you choose to live "dangerously, still this is avoidable - you can wait for them to pass through, escape by sheet ropes from 2nd floor,...) 3. Well, this is a fundamental aspect of the game. "Dev's vision". I don't believe anything will be changed about it. This game gives you one life - and one life only, so you have to play carefully - like you would if this was a real life. It makes it that much more impactfull when you loose your character. It is possible however - for you to live in the game forever, no one said you're going to get nuked or anything you cannot prevent. As I said - give it another try, at least when PZ goes 1.0; much of your frustration with the game will be 'fixed' by then. Cheers!
  22. Sledgehammer works wonders, trust me
  23. After playing around a bit in 32.3 and 32.4 build I can say as much Issue of zombies forming massive hordes (500+) and abandoning certain areas seems to be resolved now with 32.4; however as Geras mentioned zombies seem to inhabit a 'cleared' area in instant (you can see how they break from the groups nearby to immediately sprint over to the 'cleared' area). I agree with Geras, perhaps they should do so only once per day or something. Also, a suggestion: Since I failed to see (since 32.4) a really huge horde, perhaps there should be few 200 zed hordes (like 2 hordes per every town in game) that wander around aimlessly until they 'find' you or hear you. Those hordes should not affect the zombie count in cells + should not attract the 'stationary' zombies (those that are counted per each cell); so 'stationary ones' wouldn't join hordes only to see certain areas again totally abandoned (and avoiding too high zed count because of how respawn works).Just a thought. Dunno, might work pretty well, especially if they come knocking on your doors one day or just passing by a building you were looting for too long Love this build, keep up the good work!
  24. Was just about to say that +1 for the morgue (at least your top 10 survivors - counted by days survived)
