Rausheim got a reaction from Zombiemonkey in Horses
I would guess that the closest thing to a "medieval knight horse" would be the police horses they use in riots and such. I do not know about the cop horses and their training, but when we were younger, we taught the horses not to be afraid from sounds, shooting from horseback (with the horse wearing those ear plug thingies ofc) and they actually could handle sounds. A horse with those combos might be useful in a zed environment.

However, most horses would be scared shitless and anything resembling zeds, aka humans, would not be able to get close to em.

I love the idea of casting bullets and is something I would do (and do now atm) if there was a real zombie outbreak (or whatever apocalyptic happening). I suggested reloading ammo before.

If the game is only going to what average joe knows, they should not even include guns as most people would shoot themselves in the leg due to inproper training (no, 300+ hours of CoD don't give enough experience in how to load/unload and operate a gun safely).

Rausheim got a reaction from Rathlord in Reloading Mod - Make your own ammo!
Fixed typos in the script that resulted in not giving ammo when reloading. Fixed now.
Added a new feature: You now have to Size and prime the cases before seating the bullets. Enjoy!

I love realism and the "thought" of continiuty, but even reloading supplies will run out. Making smokeless powder is more or less impossible without a big lab and such. Blackpowder is doable, but require some chemicals that also will run out.

Update: Now the guns only give brass if you actually have ammo loaded. Replace ReloadingMod folder with this one.

Awesome, just frickin' awesome. It's also pretty straight forward, since this should not be difficult to add in future versions of PZ if they do something to that script.

If one starts to fondle with a reloading press without reading any books or having any clue about what they do, it might end up as a death trap.

It's not too complicated (says the dude who's been reloading for ages) but for ingame, a high aiming/reloading skill should be required in order for it to be safe. Also regarding casting bullets. If one was to do as TS says, it would explode.... using jewelry as casting material Only thing that will work proper is lead (which can be found many places. Weights on wheels on cars, car batteries, certain stores, scrapyards etc).

And people with no real experience with guns will shoot or injure themselves, especially the boys in young teens that's been playing videogames. As a firearms instructor, those are the most "dangerous" ones to have at the range cos they already "know everything".
