  1. 1) this is on the stable build of 31.13. I just tested the mods in a sandbox game, Hydrocraft and Extended building both work. 2) This is a hosted server via Fragnet, I'm not sure how to access the server side console. However, on the client side console I can see Hydrocraft loading and over-writing the default files in SP mode, but 3) no errors that I can see (client side) EDIT: I have a few errors with invalid rooms "while reading map_meta.bin" EDIT2: After hydrocraft loads, I get a console message that "Mod Loaded: ORMtnMan's Real Gun Mod v 1.19" even though I don't have the mod installed? (this is on a few reinstall of Zomboid client side) Just attempted the "/reloadoptions" server gave me a message "[server]Options Reloaded". Killing my character and spawning in a new region to check. (From New Denver to West Point) Edit: Just checked 4 or 5 houses now in Westpoint after "/reloadoptions" still no Hydocraft items found SOLVED: Ok so, after scanning through my client side console and noticing the ORGM mod being loaded despite not being installed I decided to reinstall PZ entirely yet again. As I did this I double checked my /SteamApps/Common/ProjectZomboid folder to discover that a "Media" file was left behind after the un-installation. I deleted the file and reinstalled my game. Did a fresh wipe on my server, uploaded in order 1) Server.db 2) ServerPZ_sandboxlars.lua 3) Hydrocraft From there I edited the server.ini to "Mods = Hydrocraft" and connected to the server and *viola* it works! I'm now going through one by one adding the mods and map sections to ensure they are working, but it seems as if the media file that wasn't deleted was conflicting with the server data for some reason.
  2. Hello, I am attempting to get Hydrocraft up and running for a private server for some friend and I, but I am running into some issues. I've been able to add-on Bedford Falls and New Denver, as well as Extended Building and Immunity.(all of which are working perfectly fine) However I am struggling with trying to get Hydrocraft to work properly. I have tried extracting the mod to \server\Zomboid\mods\Hydrocraft I have also tried\server\mods\Hydrocraft I have attempted manually extracting the relevant media files into the required directories on the server. However, none of this has seemed to work! I have attempted this mutliple times with a fresh install and still no luck. The server.ini has been edited to include the mod, and the server will notify a user if they do not have the required files, however I've yet to encounter a single item from the Mod, even with loot on "Abundant" What is the trick to get this to work properly with multi-player?
  3. If I recall correctly there is a "SpawnRegions.lua" file you need to modify on the server in order to add the spawn points into the character creation screen. I am on mobile at the moment and don't recall exactly where the .lua is located, but you will need to add a line of code that directs to the New Denver directory and the spawn point lua found in that folder. It took me a while to get ND set up on my server, but it will work. If you don't find the proper response within a few hours when I get home I'll track down that file/directory for you
  4. We figured that it was most likely the firewall or proxy settings from the server host that were causing this issue. We set up the firewall as seen here http://imgur.com/7Avr5Qs per the steamcmd firewall settings. I'm not sure if this is the correct port openings however as we still ran into that error even after opening them up. The server is a a baseline VPS from NFOServers, with a fresh OS install prior to our previous attempt at getting things going. I was hoping the SFTP work around would get the ball rolling a bit more, but we keep running into that permission denied error and I haven't a clue on how to fix it. I've been tinkering with this project for the last 5 or 6 days after work and it's starting to drive me bonkers. Any other info I can provide let me know. I appreciate any and all help with this issue.
  5. Update on the issue that I was having. I fail to even receive a steamguard email prompting this log in. I've attempted running the autoscripts that were posted, however when I'd go back to look at the prompts after realizing the dedi-server file was never downloaded I find the same error. I'm quite new to linux in general so I'm not quite sure what to do here. Any thoughts? Edit: The virtual server is currently running Ubuntu 12.04-LTS x64. Attempted previously with Wheezy x64 but ran into the steam cannot connect error with the auto scripts. Cheers. We did yet another system wipe, and rolled with Debian Wheezy again. We ran into the same steam connection error when trying to get steamcmd to actually launch. The best work around I was able to come up with was to download PZ on a netbook of mine that is running on Ubuntu, then upload the files to the VPS via SFTP. Picking up the steps from where I would be from the download via steamcmd I now run into this error when trying to launch the dedi-server.sh file I have edited the ram values for the server with out a hitch, and this is where we are stuck at now. Any advice?
  6. First off, let me thank you for taking the time to put this guide together. So, I rented a VPS from the host you suggested in the original post. I'm able to get through getting java installed, and steam as well, however when I try to run the steamcmd.sh file I get the following error.
